"Good morning, Miss," said a woman to Ellena, who was busy arranging cakes in the glass cupboard.

"Good morning, Mis ...." Ellena looked up and couldn't continue her words when she found Selena in front of her, right behind the glass cupboard where the cookies were stored.

"No-Miss Selena?" said Ellena looking nervous.

"Why are you so nervous to see , Mrs. Lucas?" Selena replied with a cynical look and a slightly curt tone of voice.

"I-I—"

"Are you surprised to see here?" asked Selena cutting Ellena off.

After the incident at the cafe that ti, Selena finally appeared again in front of Ellena. Even this ti she dared to et her ex-lover's wife in person at the cake shop. I don't know what the purpose of coming to that place was, what was clear was that her appearance was enough to make Ellena surprised and scared for sure.

"S-sorry, is there anything I can help you?" asked Ellena trying to neutralize the feeling by being casual like a normal buyer.

"Yes," said Selena shortly.

"How can I help you. Would you like so cake, Miss?" asked Ellena forcing a slight smile.

"I was like that, but because it turns out that the seller is you, I don't think I'm going to buy cakes here." Selena replied, staring at the woman in front of her with a glare.

"Well, please go if there is no need anymore." Ellena seed to raise her right hand, then pointed towards the door, as a sign language for the woman to co out. However, her tone was very gentle and polite. Maybe that's called subtly expelling.

"How arrogant of you!" said Selena looking rounded eyes. Did not accept the attitude of Ellena who treated her dishonorably.

"Sorry, Miss, I don't want to make a fuss with anyone. So, if you ca here just to make a fuss with , you're wrong. I'm not the type of person who likes contention," explained Ellena, which instantly made Selena pursed her lips. "Besides, my shop is busy and I'm busy, so please don't make a fuss here!" She added emphatically.

"Oh yes?" Selena stared blankly as if she couldn't believe what Ellena had just said. "By you snatching Lucas from , it's tantamount to you having created a fight between us!" She insisted then.

"I never took Lucas from you!"

"Bullshit!" said Selena still not wanting to believe Ellena's words. "You think I'd believe Lucas himself wanted a poor woman like you?" She cursed with the sa look.

"Okay, looks like you're being pushy. Co on, let's talk this over. Please have a seat, Miss!" said Ellena while inviting Selena to sit down, so as not to want a commotion in her shop.

"Please have a seat." Ellena asked once again as she raised her hand and pointed at the visitor's seat, after finding Selena who just didn't budge.

With slow steps, Selena imdiately approached one of the empty tables located in the right corner, avoiding the crowds of several other visitors.

anwhile, Ellena seed to smile and then opened the apron that was still attached to her body.

"Please finish this!" Ellena asked one of the shop assistants standing beside her.

She gave a tray of various still warm cup cakes to the waiter to tidy up in the glass cabinet.

"Okay, Miss," replied the maid as she took the tray from Ellena's hand.

Ellena's gaze shifted to another maid standing not far from her. She seed to approach one of the waiters who had just returned from the visitor's table, after serving so of the visitors there.

"Please prepare cakes and drinks for my guests," whispered Ellena at a very close distance.

"Okay, Miss!" replied the waiter.

Ellena left the place and put the apron in the kitchen, before finally deciding to et Selena who was waiting for her at table number 10.

"Sorry for the long wait, Miss." Ellena said after she stood in front of Selena.

She then landed on the chair opposite the woman. The slight smile still hadn't faded on her face, it was deliberately shown to dampen the emotions of the woman who was now sitting opposite her.

anwhile, Selena was still replying with a cynical look, she didn't even respond to Ellena's words at all. There was a clear look of hatred on her face. It seed she still held a deep grudge against Ellena who had clearly done nothing wrong.

Yes, of course Ellena did nothing wrong, because the marriage was not based on her will, but because of coercion from Lucas.

"So what exactly did you want to talk to about, Miss?" asked Ellena not wanting to mince words.

She really wanted her problems with the woman to be over soon, even though she thought that they didn't have any problems. However, Selena's attitude towards her shows as if they are having a serious problem, even though Selena's problem is not with her but with her husband.

I don't know why Selena always blas Ellena for this problem. Shouldn't he be the one to bla?

"Leave Lucas imdiately!"

Like Ellena, Selena also didn't make small talk first, the proof was that she imdiately asked Ellena to leave her husband without giving a clear reason.

"What's the reason? Why should I leave my husband?" asked Ellena, looking questioningly at Selena's face.

She seed to be folding her arms on the table and slightly leaning forward, as if to show seriousness.

"The reason is because you don't love each other and let Lucas co back to , the woman he loves so much!" Selena answered openly without the slightest sha that she had broken the man's heart.

"Excuse , Miss."

Before Ellena had ti to respond, suddenly a waitress ca to bring cake and drinks for Selena.

"Please, Miss," said the maid before leaving.

"Thank you," said Elena. anwhile, Selena just kept quiet and didn't want to care too much about it.

"Please enjoy the cake, Miss." She added to Selena.

"No, thank you!" Selena replied curtly.

Ellena just shook her head slightly and returned Selena's attitude with a smile, before resuming their conversation.

"You're wrong, Miss." Ellena replied, looking relaxed without any more hesitation and fear at Selena. "We actually love each other. Even Lucas admitted it in front of my mother," added Ellena trying to give Selena understanding.

"Lie!" said Selena in disbelief.

"Lies? Why would I lie. Wouldn't lying just make things harder for myself?" Ellena replied which was more of a sarcastic tone.

"Sorry, Miss. I can't lie about that. After all, lying is only done by treacherous people and I'm not one of those people. I'm telling the truth. If you don't believe , please ask soone directly. concerned." Ellena said at length, without giving Selena a chance to speak.

"Don't dream! Lucas can't possibly love a poor woman like you!" Selena cursed as she pursed her lips.

Hearing that statent Ellena seed to giggle for a mont. It was clear she was laughing at Selena's remarks that she had absolutely no idea what her real life was like with Lucas.

"Ahem!" Ellena cleared her throat before leaning even more forward, approaching Selena. "Miss, do I need to show proof of our love? Does anyone want to see how Lucas is crazy about my body?" She whispered before looking back from the woman.

furious. Selena was getting more and more furious when she heard Ellena's statent. Her eyes were wide and her hands were not clenched at the sa ti. Had he really lost to Ellena? It's really hard to believe. 'How could all this happen between a couple who don't love each other?' She thought.

"Maybe you're right. At first there was no love between us, but after living a married life, everything just flowed like water. Until we started to realize that we need each other and have feelings for each other," said Ellena trying to clarify the statent before, before Selena managed to respond.

"Hey, Miss! Listen to ! Whatever you say, I won't believe it one bit!" Selena said as she pointed furiously at Ellena.

"It's up to you, Miss Selena. It's your right. Believe it or not, I still won't do what you want right now. Lucas is too precious for to leave, especially for soone like you," replied Ellena still not wanting to. raised her voice, considering that there were so shoppers there.

After all, she also didn't want to indulge in the anger of the woman in front of her. Wouldn't she have the sa impression if she treated her with emotion?

"Oh, so you don't want to let Lucas go, do you?" Selena looked seriously at Ellena with a slightly upturned face, showing arrogance.

"Yes." Ellena answered simply and quietly, without being afraid of Selena's next move. She knew what she was doing right now was right. So, why is she afraid? It is precisely what is wrong here is Selena who is very intent on snatching her husband.

"You really aren't afraid of what I'll do to you?" Selena asked threateningly.

"Just do it, Miss," replied Ellena no less relaxed.

This ti he sat leaning back, folding her arms in front of her chest. A wide smile appeared on her face and of course addressed to Selena.

"Okay, we'll see. Who will win in this!" threatened Selena regardless of who she was dealing with right now.

"Okay!" replied Elena confidently. "It's true, regret always cos late. Evidently now, you are so sorry for leaving my husband for another man and don't force to do that. Because I don't want to regret like you, Miss." She added again sarcastically at Selena.

"Shut up! It's none of your business!" growled Selena did not accept being ostracized like that.

"You hear , Miss. Anything that concerns my husband is my business!" said Elena.

"Too bad I don't care. Even though you're Lucas Fidell's wife, in my eyes you're still the sa, just a shaless poor woman!" Selena replied still trying to insult Ellena.

"Do you still have any sha, Miss?" asked Ellena starting to growl at Selena's insult. "If you still have sha, you better get out of here, before I call security!" throw it out then.

"Without you telling , I'm going to get out of here.. Do you really think I'm comfortable lingering around a poor person like you? No!" Selena got up and imdiately left the place, while Ellena just shook her head at Selena's attitude.
