"Your grandpa is pretty bad, isn’t he? Didn’t you say that when your grandma yells, your grandpa doesn’t dare to make a peep?" Beibei said.
"Yeah, that’s because my grandpa feels guilty, and I also have an honorary grandpa," Si Hexuan replied. As he finished, Beibei asked, "Is it the principal?"
Si Hexuan nodded. I found so photos my grandpa had collected today, including ones of Old Mrs. Wang, so I burned them. Now I’ve co over to my honorary grandpa’s place to lay low.
Everyone laughed when Si Hexuan finished speaking.
But Si Hexuan truly harbored resentnt against Elder Mrs. Wang. She was his grandpa’s first love; naturally, she was adored. Whenever The Wangs had any issue, as long as Elder Mrs. Wang asked, his grandpa would rush to help.
Si Hexuan could say he grew up by his grandparents’ side. Usually, his grandparents got along well, but whenever it ca to Elder Mrs. Wang, they would argue incessantly.
Si Hexuan felt that Elder Mrs. Wang was quite botherso and also disliked how his grandpa would acquiesce to whatever she wanted. With just a phone call from her requesting a favor, his grandpa would imdiately agree.
This ti Si Hexuan really got into trouble. He didn’t dare to go ho and had been staying at his honorary grandpa’s for several days, not even attending school, and he was even considering whether to go take an IQ test to join the Genius Youth Class.
Beibei, however, returned to school and also requested leave on Si Hexuan’s behalf. Xiao Shan Yue went back to the Genius Youth Class but was no longer neglecting her health like before.
When Jiang ii got back to her grandma’s house, she talked about this incident. Old Mrs. Wang scolded, "It’s the Si family’s little grandson, eh? I’ve t him. He’s nothing but a mischievous troublemaker. You stay away from him in the future."
If there was anyone Elder Mrs. Wang despised the most, it was Madam Si.
Elder Mrs. Wang was infuriated. Although she married Mr. Wang as his second wife, she was never truly content and over the years had caused Madam Si a fair share of trouble.
Madam Si was a fiery woman; if you were with her, you had to be responsible for her. Furthermore, continuing to associate with Elder Mrs. Wang naturally made Madam Si furious.
Feeling indebted to Elder Mrs. Wang, she was nearly always compliant.
But she felt guilty when facing Madam Si. Who could bla her? She had married a fierce woman who had borne him several sons, and Mr. Si indulged Madam Si for the sake of his children.
Not to ntion that Madam Si once wanted to marry the current principal of Technology University and even had her son call another man ’dad.’ Si naturally felt uncomfortable, so he forcefully took action once, going with a gun to take both his wife and child back.
"That wretched boy, never co back ho," fud Elder Si at Stone’s house. Four photos were burned because one of them had Elder Mrs. Wang, and Si was so angry that he wanted to thrash his grandson.
"I don’t want to co back either." Madam Si grabbed a bag and was ready to leave, naturally leading to another argunt.
"What are you being so reckless for? Those photos include two old friends of mine; this is my brother. I was keeping these for the mories."
As soon as Elder Si finished speaking, Madam Si said, "Aren’t you obviously doing it because there’s soone else in the picture?"
With that, Madam Si walked out carrying her bag, "Old man, let tell you, I’m not living with you anymore. Anyway, our sons are grown, and we have grandchildren. Do whatever you like."
"Old woman, old woman!" Si called after her from behind, but he didn’t manage to bring Madam Si back. When he went out after her, he could no longer see her. He then asked others to start searching for her.
In a corner, Madam Si wiped away her tears. After a lifeti of fighting and quarreling, she was truly exhausted.
If it weren’t for her children, she would not want to go on. After enduring for so many years, Madam Si now felt disillusioned and uncomfortable in her own ho; she just wanted to get so fresh air.
"Hexuan, where are you?" Madam Si found a payphone and called her grandson.
"Grandma, I’m at school. Are you outside?" Si Hexuan didn’t dare to say that he hadn’t gone to school, lest his grandma scold him to death.
"Yes, I’m outside," Madam Si spoke, feeling lost and considering whether to call her sons. But if she called her sons, her husband would surely find out.
Although it was odd for soone her age to run away from ho, Madam Si really didn’t want to be under the sa roof as Elder Si any longer.
"Grandma, where are you? I’ll be getting out of school soon; I’ll co to et you." As soon as Si Hexuan finished, Madam Si gave him her location.
"Grandma, wait there for , I’ll arrive shortly," Si Hexuan hung up and hurried off to find Madam Si.
When she saw the grandson she had raised, Madam Si was very happy, "Where have you been staying these last few days? I asked your dad, and he said you were fine."
"I’ve been staying at my honorary grandpa’s. Grandma, what are you doing?" Si Hexuan said, looking at Madam Si’s luggage bag.
"I’ve run away from ho," Madam Si said.
Si Hexuan cried in surprise, "Then what will you do, Grandma? Stay at a hotel? Did you bring money? Or call my parents, co stay at our house."
"Don’t want to," Madam Si was reluctant.
"Then let’s go to my honorary grandpa’s."
As soon as Si Hexuan finished speaking, Madam Si shook her head, "I’ll find a place to rent and stay for a few days. Tell my husband that I’m safe and he doesn’t need to look for ."
Gao Peize, do you know where to rent a house? My grandma wants to rent a place," Si Hexuan called Shitou.
"Your grandma wants to rent a house?" Shitou’s voice carried a note of confusion.
"Yes, she had a fight with my grandpa and ran away from ho." As Si Hexuan said this, Madam Si glared, that darn kid, such a big mouth, as if he wanted the whole world to know.
If Elder Mrs. Wang found out, she would certainly laugh at her.
Shitou paused, then said, "How long does she want to stay?"
"Probably just a few days," Si Hexuan thought his grandma wouldn’t stay for long.
"Hold on," said Shitou, who then thought of Xia Xiao, who was ho alone and called her.
Xia Xiao picked up, "What’s up, Shitou?"
"Grandma, it’s like this..." Once Shitou told her about Madam Si’s situation, Xia Xiao readily agreed, "Sure, have Madam Si co over."
Feiyang was also under Si Family’s managent, and Xia Xiao had never t them, so she was very welcoming to Madam Si.
Shitou called back Si Hexuan, "Then co stay at my place. My grandma is alone at ho right now; it would be good for her to have company."
Hearing she could go to Shitou’s house, Madam Si was very willing, "Good, good, I’ve always wanted to et the person who raised Gao Peize so outstandingly."
