Neither Rose from the opposing side nor Purple from our side knew what Andrew actually did.

Ivan knew.

He couldn’t help but send a ssage: "Give the coordinates of that guy! I’ll go kill him right away!"

His tone revealed both killing intent and confidence.

Preparing to face Rose wasn’t just the concern of Andrew and Barbara. Ivan was actively preparing as well.

He had already regained Tier Four level!

And he’s a Tier Four Deep Blue Guard with the prototype of the "Deep Blue Armant," no longer the Desert Hunter with the "Earth Fire Curse."

Andrew shook his head slightly, sending a ssage back: "Not the ti yet."

Ivan did not give up and said again: "I’m at Tier Four now." He thought Andrew lacked confidence in him.

Andrew said: "I know. But... the opponent is also at Tier Four."

This was sensed during their recent "greeting."

Naros was a Tier Four Earth Fire Mage, not the Tier Three as Barbara’s intel had suggested.

"What?!" Ivan’s heart trembled, but he still refused to concede easily. He seriously considered the possibility of regaining Tier Five strength in a short ti, then... he shook his head sowhat frustratedly, "Alright, it’s indeed not the ti yet."

Andrew sent another ssage: "No need to rush, since we’ve marked the opponent, that’s sufficient for now."

"Alright." Ivan was soone who could pick up and let go, nodded, and said no more.

Purple was feeling a bit overwheld at this point.

She felt it difficult even to stand, not to ntion carrying the little boy in her arms.

"Here, let carry him instead."

Andrew had just handed the little boy to Purple, and now he took him back.

At the sa ti, he conjured an invisible Water Demon Puppet for Purple to sit on.

Purple wanted to say, "I’m fine. Andrew, be careful of any enemy tricks." But she was too exhausted, just feeling herself being lifted by a gentle invisible force, as if resting on a soft mattress. Unable to think about which Warm Fire Magic spell had this feature, her eyelids drooped, and she quickly fell asleep.

Andrew held the little boy in one arm.

With his other hand, he casually waved twice, conjuring two larger invisible Water Demon Puppets, lifting the head and headless body of the Desolate Beast, planning to bring them back to the town.

Ivan said nothing, remaining vigilant throughout.

Naros seed to make no further moves, as if this round of probing exchange between them had temporarily ended, with both sides withdrawing.

Yet looking around, the vast desert concealed dangers in the morning light.

There was no sign of a second Desolate Beast in sight. The increasingly chaotic wind carried the stronger scent of the Desolate Beast!

Andrew knew Naros must still be observing from sowhere, yet he didn’t care nor hurried back to the town. His actions were all calm and orderly.

Seeing Andrew even taking the Desolate Beast’s corpse back, Ivan couldn’t help but wonder. He knew as a Water Magic Lord, Andrew didn’t need the corpse as magic materials. Earth Fire Mages were the primary ones interested in Desolate Beast corpses, followed by Warm Fire Mages.

He thought, "Since that’s the case, why specifically transport the corpse back?"

Recalling Andrew’s previous insistence on keeping the beast alive, Ivan wondered, "Could it be Andrew discovered sothing?"

Andrew had prepared everything by then and called out, "Let’s go back first." He didn’t look at Naros’ location in the desert’s depths anymore, turning to head towards Wildfire Town. Holding the little boy in his arms. To the left was the "floating" Purple. Behind was the "floating" Desolate Beast.

Ivan said nothing, staying guard on the right.

Compared to the rapid thunderous advance during the attack, returning to the town highlighted a thodical order.

Barbara guarded the Magic Laboratory, seeing Andrew casually exposing his back to the enemies in the desert, so she dared not relax, prepared to use Fla Magic from the lab to protect Andrew and Ivan.

Under the Water Tower Tree, Little Shire anxiously paced back and forth, his sense of sll a hundred tis more acute than humans, particularly sensitive to the wind-borne Desolate Beast’s scent he disliked. Yet he resisted the impulse and stayed close to Rose, not straying.

Thus Andrew seed to relax his steps, showing his back to the enemy.

In reality, everyone in Wildfire Town played their part without any flaws!

In the slightly harsh sun after rising, Andrew subtly rged with all of Wildfire Town and his territory into a whole.

Rather than saying Andrew and Ivan went to rescue and returned, it’s more like Wildfire Town, as a giant life form, crouches in the desert’s depths, poised to strike at any threat, and then withdrawing calmly, steady yet agile, agile yet not excessively so.

"This is perhaps the biggest difference between a Water Magic Lord and traditional Water Mage."

Andrew gained a deeper, more intuitive understanding of his career path or life structure.

"Hmm..." The little boy in his arms stirred and woke up, "Where’s mommy? Cough, cough..."

Andrew paused, smiling and asked, "Is Auntie Purple your mommy?"

The little boy nodded: "Yes, we all call her mommy." Many residents of Baal Town’s Living People Cetery are orphans.

If Wildfire Town’s Living People Cetery is like an old man and old lady’s chess room, then Baal Town’s Living People Cetery is more like an orphanage. This is due to the different identities and compositions of residents in each cetery.

While continuing to heal the little boy (otherwise, he wouldn’t have awakened), Andrew said, "Don’t worry, your mommy is fine." Then he raised the boy a bit to let him see Purple sleeping on the Water Demon Puppet beside them.

The boy, seeing Purple surprisingly floating in the air (since the Water Demon Puppets are invisible), couldn’t help but widen his eyes.

If it were Little Sophie, she would have been imdiately attracted and distracted.

This little boy, however, upon recovering from his surprise, asked: "Is mommy really okay? Is she... is she asleep?"

Andrew nodded and then said, "Rest assured, your mommy will be fine, and your brother will help cure your illness too. What’s your na?"

"My na is Bai. Mommy calls Little Bai."

Little Bai was very delicate, with a rare tranquility in boys. He seed younger than Little Sophie.

Andrew and Little Bai chatted casually, never once stopping his healing.

Little Bai felt warm all over, as if the burn in his lungs that had tornted him was not as unbearable.
