Lidzmat never forgot that his most powerful weapon was never his Earth Fire Attribute, but the Fire of Extinguishing, also known as the Fire of Greed.
And the Fire of Greed is completely unaffected by Water Elent or Sky Elent, and can even be said to be unaffected by any attribute.
In the pure black night, Lidzmat, clad in armor ford from the black Fire of Greed, flapped his wings, twisted his dragon body, and charged straight at Andrew.
Andrew couldn't see his opponent, but he could feel the terrifying pressure coming at him.
But Andrew didn't dodge, not even having the thought to "dodge".
If before Andrew was always like a mole that couldn't beat his enemy and could only be hit, now, Andrew was still just a mole.
The strength relationship between the two sides had not been completely reversed because of Andrew's dragon-swallowing plan; if Lidzmat didn't choose to avoid the sharp edge temporarily and fought to the end, Andrew was still the weaker side.
But Andrew refused to let that happen, standing as firm as a mountain, conveying a clear attitude to his opponent through his actions: If you want to leave, first shatter completely; otherwise, you will never leave here!
Sure enough, Lidzmat imdiately sensed it, but rather than being alard, he was pleased: this annoying little bug was finally not "constantly entangling from the flanks" but rather "blocking head-on"?
This is great!
Gathering all the Fire of Extinguishing onto the tip of his horn, Lidzmat suddenly accelerated again, crashing full-speed into Andrew's body: "I had intended to avoid you now and deal with you later, but now you choose to face head-on, aren't you actively seeking death?"
"Is that so?" Andrew whispered with a laugh.
Faced with the opponent's attack, Andrew actually didn't "block", nor did he try to "strike" or "push away" the opponent.
Instead, Andrew opened his arms and clung tightly, squeezing fiercely!
"Your Fire of Greed is indeed unaffected by my power, paired with your higher tier, I know I can't be your match."
Andrew said, "But didn't I say before, I don't intend to defeat you, as long as I can swallow you and control you, that's enough."
As he spoke, Andrew clung tightly to Lidzmat, his body rged with the water in the heavens and the earth, like a black water python, wrapping Lidzmat tighter and tighter.
Lidzmat then heard Andrew continue: "Greed is fundantally unquenchable; regarding greed, what you need to do is never about elimination, but... utilization and control."
"What are you talking nonsense!" Lidzmat cursed, struggling frantically.
However, he soon discovered sothing that finally terrified him: power was draining away.
After his dragon body was embraced, squeezed, and entangled by Andrew, Lidzmat felt his power being taken away by Andrew, by the surrounding Water Elent.
And it was in a way Lidzmat had never seen before.
Without any violence, it was just... naturally taken away.
It seed that Lidzmat's greedy power inherently had a portion that belonged to Andrew; it just naturally flowed into Andrew's body, becoming Andrew's power!
"What... what did you do to ?!"
Lidzmat could no longer remain calm, panic began to rise as he roared angrily, "What is this thod? Why... why even my Fire of Greed can be devoured?"
Andrew didn't answer.
Because Andrew was feeling it himself at this mont.
This was a realization that erged when he had just fused with the "Fire of Life" left by Barbara, or rather, a hypothesis.
Based on this hypothesis, Andrew devised his own dragon-swallowing plan.
And now this hypothesis was verified—
The Fire of Life inherently cos with desire.
Life needs desire.
For example, the simplest, wanting to live, is a kind of desire.
Wanting to eat, that is also a desire, an appetite.
With sothing wanted, one would strive for it with effort.
Eliminating desire also eliminates life.
The so-called "greed", the problem actually lies in "overdoing it". Endless desire is the issue. Desire itself is actually a neutral word!
After Andrew entangled Lidzmat, what he did was actually very simple: using the Fire of Life to naturally absorb the portion of desire needed for life from the greedy Fire of Greed.
Just like Andrew said from the beginning: unable to defeat, then swallow!
Utilize the portion of desire needed for life, then control the excessive part of greed!
This is the most critical key to Andrew's dragon-swallowing plan!
"This... what is this?!" Lidzmat only felt that at least half of his power was gone in the blink of an eye, no longer belonging to him.
Andrew, on the other hand, felt that the injuries suffered in the battle so far almost completely healed in an instant.
A light suddenly shone again in the darkness.
That was the light emitted by the Fire of Life.
Compared to the unsettling dark red light previously emitted by Lidzmat, the light from the Fire of Life was bright and gentle.
Lidzmat was weakened in an instant, Andrew strengthened in an instant.
Under this change, the power comparison between the two sides finally began to reverse.
Lidzmat struggled violently, roaring in anger: "You actually want to control ? No one can control ! You're finished, you know? You might suppress for a ti, but can't forever; I will co out again sooner or later, I will never be controlled!"
