"Hmm, got it. Keep things stable over there with Pasha too."
Sowhere in the Water God Realm, a water mage with an ordinary appearance but steady eyes nodded.
As he spoke, he turned and made a "don’t rush, stay steady" gesture.
Behind him were more than twenty people, all water mages.
Pasha’s sister, Natalie, who Andrew had saved not long ago, was also among them. This was strange, because when Andrew had saved Natalie not long ago, she was clearly alone, and now she was regrouping with more than twenty others.
There was a reason for this—
Before Andrew arrived, the water mages had been completely scattered due to the dissolution of all divisions.
Not only were they dispersed, but their morale was scattered too.
Andrew didn’t know what the people in this Water God Realm were thinking, but at least to Andrew, this cat-and-mouse situation was intolerable.
Not only because of humiliation, but because, in reality, this situation was akin to slow death.
So not long ago, Andrew used a Magic Fox Tail to "net" the entire planet, providing support to all scattered water mages, and also transmitted a ssage to those fellow mages he had never t:
"I need everyone’s help! Very, very much!"
"I have already contacted headquarters, the headquarters is safe. But we can’t rely solely on the headquarters, we must work hard ourselves to turn this situation around!"
"I now have a plan: With Pasha, I have attracted most of the enemy’s forces and attention, we should be able to delay for a while."
"What I need everyone to do is quickly rally and then reverse the encirclent against the enemy’s forces!"
—Reverse encirclent.
This was the most important point Andrew wanted to express.
After contacting the Black Whale Headquarters, when facing Liek, Andrew did not attempt to break through.
Even after defeating Liek and facing the encirclent of the Fla Warriors, he still did not plan to break through.
Why?
Because attracting the enemy to encircle him was part of the plan from the start!
Yes, the plan.
Andrew had a combat plan after contacting the Black Whale Headquarters.
He used himself as bait to attract the enemy to encircle him, thus creating conditions for covert support and local nurical advantage. Otherwise, directly deploying reinforcents to support companions might instead have a counterproductive effect.
And when most of the enemy’s forces and attention were focused on him and Pasha, the water mages who received support had the opportunity to regroup and counter-encircle the Fla Warriors encircling them!
Simply put—
Use himself as bait to attract the enemy.
Then rally his teammates for a decisive battle!
This was what Andrew truly wanted to do after contacting headquarters!
The problem is...
"Who are you?"
More than one water mage, after hearing Andrew’s plan, paused briefly and then asked.
Everyone had received Andrew’s support, this was true.
But to say Andrew could command all the water mages through this support was sowhat far-fetched.
Especially since the water mages found themselves in this passive situation largely because they naively trusted the words of certain traitors.
Andrew suggested everyone go for a counter-encirclent—what if this was a trap? What if everyone rushed over, only to get captured?
This was a very realistic concern that couldn’t be ignored!
Andrew thus explained his identity, background, and his mission and purpose in the simplest words.
He concluded by saying, "I know this sounds incredible, but this is the truth. Trust is up to you, I don’t insist. I just want to emphasize once more, I need everyone! As long as you trust , we can turn this passive situation around! Then I will lead you all... ho!"
After saying this, Andrew stopped.
Because it couldn’t wait.
Liek was at that ti intuitively sensing a huge crisis, and a sudden strike pierced Andrew’s throat.
Afterwards, Andrew fought Liek, dealt with the Blood of the Fire God, and then faced the encirclent by Fla Warriors led by the female Warrior Chief following Liek’s retreat.
anwhile, water mages across the battlefield were experiencing a mont of inner decision.
A small number of water mages, like Natalie, quickly set out.
Yet quite a portion of the water mages were still doubtful.
Until another voice suddenly resonated in the hearts of every water mage: "Do as he says! He and Pasha, both need you now! You go first, and I’ll be there soon."
This voice was incredibly aged; if one could judge a person’s age by their voice, then this voice was practically the "oldest voice in the world."
However, upon hearing this voice, the water mages were all imnsely excited.
Because this voice belonged to none other than the leader of the Black Whale Headquarters, also the leader of all water mages in the Water God Realm—Lady Li’s voice!
The indecisive water mages finally began to act!
Whether it was Liek or the female Warrior Chief, one focused solely on Andrew’s secret, the other more on the Whale’s Eye, neither noticed or would have anticipated: the battlefield’s situation had already quietly changed significantly.
Not only the water mage team Natalie belonged to, but at the sa ti, elsewhere in the Water God Realm, there were other teams composed of water mages.
These teams varied in size, so larger, so smaller.
But they all headed in the sa direction—
The direction where Andrew and Pasha were at that mont!
"Stop! Who are you?!"
A voice shouted.
It was a Fla Warrior heading to support the female Warrior Chief, he wasn’t among the first batch to support, nor chose not to support out of personal reasons, he was sowhere in-between, hesitating before deciding to support, and thus still on the way.
The man noticed Natalie’s group, and upon seeing an actual squad of water mages, his face flashed with surprise.
He reacted swiftly, without intending to engage in direct conflict, and imdiately pulled out a communication-type magic device: "There’s a situation—"
The communication was abruptly stopped.
A bubble with a dreamlike beautiful hue erged from beneath this Fla Warrior, silently enveloping him, sealing his mouth, and then dragging him underwater, the whole process without a sound.
"...So close!" A tall and lanky water mage erged from where the Fla Warrior disappeared beneath the water.
He lacked one eye, his clothes were tattered, revealing several wounds difficult to heal, his physical condition was evidently poor.
But he seed completely unfazed by the physical pain, gesturing to Natalie’s group, and said in a low voice, "Let’s go together!"
anwhile, on Andrew’s side.
Pasha had stopped "muffled" protests.
Andrew finally told her about his plan.
Earlier, Pasha had pleaded with Andrew, hoping he wouldn’t "alarm" other water mages.
Now hearing Andrew’s plan—a plan that had long exceeded the scope of simply "alarming"—Pasha stared at Andrew for a mont, with a curious expression, suddenly silently extended her hand and clasped Andrew’s hand again.
Andrew felt a stream of water magic power, not greatly powerful compared to his own, but tenacious, emanating from Pasha’s hand.
"Thank you!" Andrew smiled.
One hand clasping Pasha’s hand in return, the other still gripping the Black Heavy Sword tightly.
He looked up.
And saw the Fla Warriors’ onslaught already arriving.
