I wasn’t surprised to hear all of this since we had seen how the young masters from the large families had acted.
If it wasn’t for the fact that the families that were in charge of this city were like this as well, then those young masters wouldn’t have acted that way. It was a show of how this city was run in the first place.

I couldn’t help feeling that this was also related to why the Nine Tails Emperor sent us off.
This was most likely an item that he had prepared for Mu Bao Bao, but it wasn’t as if he could just take it. He had to let her earn it or else it would be hard for them to justify taking it from families in Four River City.
It seed that there were many different things that were in play here.
Other than these few rumours, there wasn’t much that was that interesting to listen to and I lost interest in them.

"I heard that they stayed all the way until closing ti and even then, they didn’t seem like they wanted to leave. Many of them kept the party going all night." The kid reported the mont that we ca out.
He had been standing here for a while now from what I could tell, but it seed like he was filled with energy.
I gave a simple nod to Gao Fu Shuai and he tossed a small bag to the kid.
But the kid just simply returned the bag to Gao Fu Shuai before saying, "Young master, can I be your lackey as well?"
I raised a brow to look at him, but then I shook my head.
It wasn’t as if I was recruiting lackeys from wherever I went. The ones that had been with had been with for a while, so I knew that I could trust them.
As for this kid...

I couldn’t help shaking my head with a faint smile, but I eventually said, "That will depend on your performance."
I knew that it would be impossible to get rid of him that easily, so it was better to keep him by our side until he lost interest.
Right now, there were more important things to do and I needed this kid to do sothing for .
With another nod to Gao Fu Shuai, he tossed the small bag back to the kid.
The kid looked like he was about to refuse, but I said, "I need you to do sothing for , this is the funds for that."
