After sitting down, I picked up the nu and glanced at it once before tossing it aside.
The manager’s heart trembled when he saw this, but he still worked up the courage to ask, "Young master, is there sothing wrong? Are you displeased with the nu that we offer? If there’s anything that you need, please tell and I’ll make sure to get it for you."
I casually waved my hand for the manager to calm down before saying, "It’s not that, I’m just not interested in reading nus."
The manager’s chin dropped slightly when he heard this, but then he quickly nodded in agreent.
Even if he couldn’t understand what this young master in front of him was thinking, it wasn’t as if he would disagree with him and offend the young master.
Whatever the young master wanted, that was what the young master got.
Before he could start promising more things, I just said, "Bring one of everything on the nu. It’s easier if I just have a taste of everything before deciding what else I want."
After saying this, I tossed out a bunch of spirit jade onto the ground without a single care.
The manager had been in a daze hearing what I said, but then he reacted to the spirit jades that were there. He quickly bent over and started picking them up, but as he did, another shocked look appeared on his face.

The kid who we had brought in with us finally recovered from his daze at this ti and he was trying to leave when he realized what happened, but I didn’t let him do that.

With the manager taking care of everything, it didn’t take long for the food to arrive. In fact, it seed like he had put in even more effort than he would have normally done when it ca to making these dishes.
There was no doubt that he was trying to impress with these dishes.
It was just that there was nothing to gain from trying to impress.
Once all of the dishes were brought in, the manager said with a wide smile, "Young master, please have a taste. This is the best that our restaurant has to offer."
I gave a nod before gesturing to Liu Ao Xue and Mu Bao Bao to have the first taste.
But I found that Mu Bao Bao had already started without a single care for .
Liu Ao Xue looked at with a smile before she started eating as well.
Since they helped themselves, there was nothing to say about it. Instead, I turned to the kid and said, "Go on, have so or else people will say that I’m mistreating you."
I could already see the way that he had been looking at the food, so I wanted to give him a little push to eat so. Only it seed that my words just made him even more nervous as he moved away from the table.
Since that was the case, there was only one thing that I could do.
"Are you saying that you’re too good to eat the things that I’m offering you? If that’s the case, then should I go and get sothing else just for you?"
The kid trembled when he heard this before quickly shaking his head in a terrified manner.
It really seed like I was bullying him with the way that I said this, but I didn’t mind as I waited for him to say sothing.
In the end, he just gave a gulp and picked up the chopsticks to bring so of the food to his mouth.
Since he was being threatened, he really had no choice...
Or that was what the kid told himself.
There was a look like he was savoring the dish that appeared on his face before long.
It was clear that he enjoyed the food that was in front of him.
I gave a nod in response to this before starting to eat the food myself.
I had to admit that this place was quite good.
Though they had put in that extra bit of effort to impress, there was also the foundation of the dish that was there. This wasn’t sothing that could be changed that easily, so it was easy to see that there was so skill in this kitchen.
I just took a few bites of each of the dishes before putting down my chopsticks.
The manager panicked when he saw this and ca over to ask, "Young master, is there anything not to your liking. If there is, please tell and I’ll help you fix it right away."
I shook my head before turning to look at the kid to ask, "How was it, did you like the food?"
Hearing that I was asking him this, the kid quickly nodded in agreent.
"Good, very good." I said before turning to look at the manager.
When the manager saw looking at him, he couldn’t help feeling a chill run down his spine.
