After a few monts of silence, that was interrupted by a voice that said, "New people from the lower realm?"
When we turned in the direction of that voice, we saw that there were guards that were standing there.
It was only natural that there would be guards here since this was clearly not a place that was naturally ford. This was a square that had been created just for the people that arrived in this upper realm.
Seeing them standing there, I imdiately raised my guard.
I wasn’t the only one that raised my guard, the others also raised their guards just in case.
We had just arrived in this Sakura Upper Realm, so there was no telling what would happen. There was no way of telling if these guards were friendly or not, or if they were here to capture us for coming from the lower realm.
In so of the novels that I’ve read before, the situation where those from the lower realm were captured and then used as slaves. So there was no telling if this would happen here as well.
The guards could see the way that we looked at them, but there were awkward looks that appeared on their faces. One of them raised his hands before saying, "We’re not here to cause trouble, we’re just in charge of this gate."
"That’s right, we’re here to welco you and give you information about this upper realm." The other guard said with a nod.
I narrowed my eyes to look at the guards, but the looks on their faces seed like they were sincere. It seed that they were indeed just here to help us since we seed new to this upper realm.
But it really felt like they wouldn’t help us for no reason...
Still for now, since they were willing to give us information, there was nothing wrong with listening to them.
Especially since we had a native here in the first place.
If they lied to us, Mu Bao Bao would be able to tell us that they were lying.
With a nod, I said, "What do you have to tell us then?"
The two guards looked at each other before turning back to explain, "This upper realm that you’ve appeared in is called the Sakura Upper Realm."
"Right, this is the place that’s ruled by the Nine Tails Emperor."
The two of them stopped as if they were waiting for us to react to this.
It was as if they were letting this information sink in so that we could feel impressed by this.
However, it wasn’t as if this was new information for us.
We already knew all of this before coming to this Sakura Upper Realm and this was where we were aiming to co to. But it was a good thing that there was confirmation that this was the Sakura Upper Realm.
Before this, we only had Mu Bao Bao’s guarantee that this was the place.
But it was certainly better to have others confirm this.
Seeing that our expressions didn’t change, the two guards looked at each other with confused looks. Only they didn’t let themselves remain confused for long as they continued explaining a few more things.
The things that they told us was just simple information that could have been obtained anywhere in this Sakura Upper Realm.
It wasn’t as if any of this was considered important, but it was still good information to have.
The place that we appeared in was called Wind Storm City.
This place was one of the provincial capitals of the Nine Tails Empire that ruled over this Sakura Upper Realm.
When Mu Bao Bao heard this, she showed a reaction to this.
It seed that she recognized the na of the city that we were in, but at the sa ti...it didn’t seem like she knew that much about this place.
The two guards went to explain that there were a total of fourteen provinces in the Nine Tails Empire and that the province Wind Storm City was in was considered one of the larger provinces.
It wasn’t in the top five, but it wasn’t that small either.
There were plenty of things for us to do in this Wind Storm City.
When they finished explaining where we were, I asked them, "Has anything been happening in the Nine Tails Empire lately?"
The two guards had confused looks at first before looking at with strange looks.
It even almost seed like they had a trace of hostility as they looked at , but that soon disappeared when they looked over at Mu Bao Bao.
Once they cald down, the two of them just shook their heads before one of them said, "Nothing has happened in our Nine Tails Empire recently. With our Nine Tails Emperor at the helm, how could anything happen?"
Then as if they were giving a warning, the second guard said in a colder voice, "But if soone wants to cause trouble, just know that we will show no rcy."
The two of them seed to get serious at that mont, as if they were threatening us.
I knew that my words had caused a misunderstanding, so I just said with a smile, "We don’t want to cause any trouble. This will be our ho in the future, so we just want to know a little more about this place."
The two guards looked at as if they didn’t believe at first, but then they slowly relaxed their expressions.
I could see that they had peeked at Mu Bao Bao again, which was why they had dropped this matter in the end.
I knew that I couldn’t just not give them sothing as a reward for the information that they’ve given us, so I just pulled out several high grade spirit stones for them.
When I offered it to them...
The two guards looked at the high grade spirit stones in my hand with disappointed looks.
It was almost as if they were looking at trash.
