Once the aura of the Rebirth Realm Cultivator appeared, there was a barrier that suddenly appeared around the sect as well.
This barrier blocked all of the attacks that rained down on the sect and gave the mbers of the sect a mont to catch their breath.
But that only lasted for a mont.
That was because there were powerful attacks that suddenly appeared.
The barrier that the Rebirth Realm ancestor put up around the sect couldn’t withstand these attacks at all and shattered once the attacks hit them.
As this happened, a shocked look appeared on the face of the Rebirth Realm ancestor.
He just couldn’t understand what was happening.
Just where did all of these powerful enemies co from?
Just what had his sect done to provoke all of these people?
As the Rebirth Realm ancestor was stunned by the powerful attacks that destroyed his barrier, the attacks from before resud. There was another rain of attacks that fell down on the sect from all different directions.
The Rebirth Realm ancestor didn’t act this ti.
After all, there were enemies that were strong enough to even match him out there.
There was no way that he would act carelessly when there was the chance that even he would be caught up in this.
Before this, the Rebirth Realm ancestor thought that he would be able to solve this with his power.
But now...
After watching the attacks rain down on his sect for a while, the Rebirth Realm ancestor suddenly said, "Who is it that is attacking my sect? Is there anything that we have done to offend you?"
He had no idea what was happening after all and since he couldn’t solve this matter with force, the only thing that he could do was try to solve this matter with words.
It was just that there was no response that ca after he said this.
Even though the Rebirth Realm ancestor had used his spiritual energy to increase his voice to make sure that they would hear him, it seed that whoever the enemy was, they weren’t interested in talking to him.
The Rebirth Realm ancestor deeply knitted his brows seeing this before he turned to look at the elders that were gathering around him.
"Who knows what is happening?" The Rebirth Realm ancestor asked in a cold voice.
In the long history of their sect, they had never been in a situation like this before.
All of the elders had awkward looks on their faces since none of them knew what was happening either.
As far as they knew, there shouldn’t have been anything that caused this to happen.
They just couldn’t understand what was happening.
Seeing that no one was saying anything, the Rebirth Realm ancestor finally said with a sigh, "Fine, if no one knows anything, then go out and apologize to whoever it is that’s attacking us. We don’t know why they are attacking, but they clearly want to make us suffer or else they would have attacked with their full might already. Do what you can to stop them."
The elders all had even more awkward looks on their faces when they heard this.
What the ancestor was telling them to do was go out into the line of fire to draw the enemy’s attention.
However, there wasn’t anything that they could say in response to this.
The look on the ancestor’s face made it very clear what he was thinking.
If they didn’t go out willingly, then there was no doubt that the ancestor would throw all of them out. If they didn’t go now, there was no doubt that the ancestor would force them out.
It would be hard to say if they could even remain in the sect if the ancestor threw them out.
So the only thing that they could do was try to find out why the enemy was attacking them.
From what they could see, the enemy didn’t seem that interested in completely destroying them.
Even though the attacks were falling on the disciples, it didn’t seem like they were aid to kill. The ones that were knocked out because of these attacks seed like they were being left alone by the ones that were attacking.
In the end, it didn’t seem like there were any casualties.
So while they didn’t know why the ones attacking them were attacking, they could at least tell that there was room for negotiations.
After taking a deep breath, the elders left the sect.
The attacks were aid at them as well, but the elders were able to guard against these attacks and make their way out before one of them ca forward to ask sothing.
"Is there a reason you are attacking our sect? If we have offended you in so way, then we are willing to apologize. We can talk through this misunderstanding."
The attacks didn’t seem to stop at first, but then they suddenly stopped.
All of the attackers seed to disappear all of a sudden.
The elders let out sighs of relief when they saw this before quickly knitting their brows as thoughtful looks appeared on their faces.
The fact that the attacker suddenly stopped like this made it clear that this matter was related to them. It was clear that one or many of them had offended soone, which was why they were attacking their sect.
But they couldn’t think of anything that they had done.
After a mont of silence, there was a powerful attack that ca at the elders.
All of the elders were caught off guard by this, but they quickly reacted and worked together to resist this attack. If they hadn’t worked together, they definitely wouldn’t have been able to stop this attack.
Only this one attack had drained them of their power.
They didn’t have anything left in the tank after blocking this attack.
If there was another one that ca at them...
However, that didn’t happen as a voice suddenly spoke.
"You know full well what you’ve done."
