It was silent at first as everyone watched the mbers of the Shan Family being brought in, but it only took a single spark for the crowd to explode.

That was what made most people confused.
After all, they thought that the Shan Family mbers were being brought in like this for them to sha them before the execution, but now it didn’t seem to be the case.
So they didn’t understand what was happening.
The mbers of the Shan Family didn’t seem to care since they were looking around like they were looking for soone specific.

After they were brought up to the stage, the Roaring Tiger Emperor had the executioner bring them into place and then lift the axe above their head, but the Roaring Tiger Emperor didn’t execute them on the spot.
Instead, the Roaring Tiger Emperor just said, "Do you have any last words?"
"Where’s Bing Xin? I demand my right to talk to her!"
That was what the mber of the Shan Family who was on the chopping block said.
The way that they said this was as if they would die if they didn’t see this person, but then again...they were indeed being executed, so that did seem to be the case.
The crowd was very confused when they heard this as they didn’t know who this ’Bing Xin’ person was, but since the one being executed was shouting for this person, they knew that they had to be related to this.
Since they wanted to see this mber of the Shan Family executed, the crowd started shouting, "Don’t let them see them!"
It was one or two people at first, but soon the entire crowd was chanting this.
Even then, the one from the Shan Family was still desperately calling for Bing Xin.
That was because he had been told that Bing Xin was the only one that could free him.
He and the rest of the Shan Family had been told that Bing Xin would be the one that decided their fate, but they had never been able to see Bing Xin. That was the punishnt that they received.
Just dangling hope in front of their faces and to take it away at a mont’s notice, that was the greatest way to make sure that their final monts were spent in trepidation.
Even when the axe ca down, there was still a trace of hope in their eyes.
Only that hope was not answered.
That was because Bing Xin was not at the execution.
One by one, the mbers of the Shan Family were brought forward and they were all executed in turn.
As each execution happened, there were people that burst into tears under the stage.
It was as if they were filled with emotions seeing the mbers of the Shan Family being executed like this.
They were most likely the ones that had suffered at the hands of these people before.
They had never been able to do anything to these people since they were people from the illustrious Shan Family, they were people that could be considered untouchable to commoners like them.
But now, those sa people from the Shan Family were being executed.
It was hard for them not to feel emotional when they saw this happening.
When it was all over, the heads of the Shan Family mbers had rolled to the ground and all of their bodies had been thrown in a pile to the side. It seed like they would be used to appease the commoners watching later on.
However, they weren’t the main event.

This had certainly been a strange execution for the people watching, but they didn’t care as long as they were able to see the deaths of the ones being put up for execution.
The one that they wanted to die the most was Duke Yu, but it wasn’t ti for his appearance yet.

It was the head of the Shan Family and the fourth master of the Shan Family.
The fourth master was the only one that had been brought out separately. The other masters of the Shan Family had all been executed earlier.
When the two of them were brought out, they incited even more noise from the crowd.
It seed that the cris that the two of them had committed wasn’t any less than all of the other mbers of the Shan Family. It seed that they might have even committed more cris than them combined.
But that wasn’t strange since the fourth master was a known playboy.
While the head of the Shan Family...he had to do things to ensure the safety and prosperity of the Shan Family.
