The group of people that we saved couldn’t believe what had just happened, but I didn’t care at all about that.
I took out another piece of Nine Lives Grass and lted it down once more.
But this ti, I didn’t use the dicinal essence on a single person.
This ti, I controlled it with the flas in my hand and separated it into different parts before spraying it all over the group.
It was too concentrated to use on just a single person.
It wasn’t a problem of it being a waste, but rather that they wouldn’t be able to handle it since they had low levels of cultivation.
Otherwise I would have used a bunch of Nine Lives Grass just to spray all over them to heal them.
There were two problems with that...
Other than them not being able to handle it, I wouldn’t be able to refine it.
Refining a single piece of Nine Lives Grass was easy, but a bunch of them was very hard since it required powerful flas and precise control. At the sa ti, it would require a lot of spiritual energy, which was not sothing that I wanted to expend.
So this was the best solution for both and them.
Though they were shocked that such a precious herb was used to heal them.
In fact, it made them a bit scared since they clearly were not able to repay the favour of this herb.
A herb with this kind of healing power was without a doubt a precious thing, it was most likely sothing that they couldn’t repay even if they offered up all of their belongings.
So they were worried about how to repay this young master who saved them.
As they were awkwardly standing there, I asked, "Is there anyone else who is still injured?"
Hearing this, the leader quickly shook his hands and said, "No, no, that’s everyone. Young master, thank you for saving our lives."
The others quickly bowed their heads and repeated, "Thank you for saving our lives, young master."
I just casually waved my hand in response to this before saying, "It’s nothing, I was just in the area and saved your friend. If you want to thank soone, thank her for finding ."
All of them revealed awkward looks when they heard this before turning to look at the red haired girl who was still supporting the leader.
She didn’t know what to say either, so all she could do was stand there with an awkward look on her face.
I could tell that they didn’t know how to go from here, so I said, "Now, tell what happened here. It seems like you guys have quite the story to tell."
The leader was surprised to hear this, but he gave a nod before he started telling about what happened here.
These people were a rcenary group called the Fla Wolf rcenary that had co into the Myriad Beast Valley to hunt for spirit beasts.
This was a very common thing, so it wasn’t that interesting.
The leader was even a bit cautious when he said this since he thought that I wanted to hear sothing interesting, not sothing as boring as this.
I didn’t really care so I just waved my hand for him to continue.
The story continued with them wandering around until they ca across this pack of wolves.
They didn’t know what they had done to offend these wolves, but they had sohow provoked the wolves into attacking them.
They had risked their lives to help the red haired girl, who was their youngest escape, but it turned out that she was still chased by the wolves. When they tried to help, they found that the wolves just wouldn’t let them do anything.
It was as if they had even let her go on purpose just to taunt them.
And that was how they ended up in this situation since they had gone all out to fight the wolves in an attempt to save the red haired girl.
I was confused why the wolves would attack them all of a sudden, but there was no need for to remain confused.
I had already tad the wolves, so I could just ask them.
Though it was a bit hard to communicate with them since they didn’t have much intelligence in the first place.
In the end, with the help of gestures from the leader, I figured out what had happened.
They had accidentally stepped onto the territory of the wolf pack, which was why they had been attacked.
If one looked at it from the perspective of the wolves, it didn’t seem like they were wrong to attack the Fla Wolf rcenaries.
In a sense, this was just an accident where both sides had no choice but to fight.
It seed like we could just end this matter here.
But it felt wrong for it to end like this.
It felt like there was sothing else that I could do about this...
After thinking about it, I had an interesting idea.
I looked at Lu Shu who was the leader of these Fla Wolves rcenaries with a strange look which made him feel a bit off before asking, "Why do you call yourselves the Fla Wolf rcenaries?"
Lu Shu was a bit caught off guard when he heard this question, but he eventually said in an awkward voice, "Well, it’s a dumb reason...but it was because we saw these fla wolf mounts in the past being used by the city lord manor of the city that we ca from. We wanted to be like them in the future, which was why we called ourselves the Fla Wolf rcenaries."
This was perfect.
It wasn’t what I had expected, but this was definitely sothing that I could work with.
It was even better than what I expected after all.
As for what I was planning to do...
"Well, how about you get so fla wolf mounts right now?"
