After the sparring session was over, everyone seed much closer than before.
The senior brothers and sisters all seed like they had sothing to say to .
Though a part of this was because I had spent most of my ti in my courtyard before since I was playing around with the system. I hadn’t spent much ti outside since I had the lackeys and the elders visiting to take the things that I wanted to waste.
As such, I hadn’t really interacted much with my senior brothers and sisters.
It turned out that it was a good thing that I chose to interact with them since I learned quite a few interesting things.
They were more than happy to gossip about the things that were happening in the Star Peak Sect.
One thing that I was interested in was Senior Brother Hua.
After coming back from the alchemy tournant, he had holed himself up in his workshop and had been focused on refining pills. He didn’t co out at all during this ti and had made people worried that he had killed himself in so way.
But there was one person who stuck with him to the end.
Even though he never let her in, the senior sister who had also gone to the alchemy tournant with us had stayed with him the whole ti. She had brought him food and anything else that he might have required, even going as far as staying outside his workshop the entire ti.
In the end, her patience and persistence paid off.
When Senior Brother Hua ca out and saw her waiting there for him, it touched his heart.
There were already feelings between them, so it wasn’t as if this was sothing that happened all of sudden. It was just the trigger that caused them to finally take the next step instead of being in a limbo forever.
I couldn’t help feeling a bit proud since it was because of that Senior Brother Hua locked himself up like that.
It was because of the things that I had taught him during the alchemy tournant and on the way back. He had wanted to test the things that I taught him for himself, which was why he holed himself up.
So in a way, it could be said that I was their cupid which made proud.
I wanted to see the two of them happy since I had seen how the two of them acted around each other during our trip.
They deserved to be happy together.
Though I could see that there were so people that seed bitter about this topic.
It was hard for these single dogs to be fed dog food like this.
The other interesting thing that I heard was...
"Junior brother, you should co with us when we go on our training session in a few days."
It was one of the senior brothers who had said this.
The others were about to stop him, but then they realized that there was no need for them to stop him. After all, it wasn’t as if this junior brother of theirs was as weak as he was before.
He was even so strong that they couldn’t beat him anymore.
So if he were to co with them on this training session, then it would be a good thing for them.
If anything went wrong, they would be able to rely on his help.
This junior brother of theirs had many different strange items that had shocked them.
If he used them, there was no doubt that they would be very helpful.
So they all looked at him with expectant looks in their eyes.
After I heard this, I stroked my chin as if I was thinking about it, but that was only what I was trying to look like on the surface.
In reality, I was filled with excitent deep down.
This was another one of those common tropes from the cultivation novels that I had read in my past life.
This was the trope of going into the forest and hunting spirit beasts as a group.
This was definitely sothing that I wanted to try as well, but I had never gotten the opportunity to do.
However, now that they were inviting , naturally I would be happy to go along with them.
I could act like a young master by pretending to go along with them, when in reality...
I really wanted to go!
When the senior brothers and sisters saw stroking my chin, they thought that I was hesitating on whether to go or not, so they started encouraging to go.
"Junior brother, this is a good chance to get experience by fighting the spirit beasts."
"Right, we’ll also be able to find a bunch of precious...spirit beast...materials..."
The one who had said this slowly stopped talking.
After all, they slowly rembered who they were saying this to.
Would this prodigal young master in front of them even be lacking anything when the things that he gave away were far more precious than anything that he could get from this trip?
I could see the awkward looks on their faces, so I knew that this was my ti.
I just brought my hand down and said, "Alright, it sounds like fun."
The mont that they heard this, all of the senior brothers and sisters cheered up and started telling about what the trip would be like.
They all wanted to act like seniors as they explained what kind of things we would be doing and what was the best way to find spirit beasts.
With how excited they were, it didn’t seem like I would be able to say anything to stop them.
So I just listened to them...
Or at least I would have listened to them if it wasn’t for the notification that suddenly popped up.
There were two words in that notification that caught my attention specifically.
"Main mission."
It was a new main mission that was released.
