The Void Battlefield lived up to its na.
It really was nothing but void here, but for so reason...there seed to be enough light that everything was visible, even if it seed a bit dim.
It was hard to tell where this light ca from, but there was a light that filled the entire place.
But other than that, there really wasn’t much else here.
There was a door behind them that seed to be the way out and then there was emptiness all around them. This was a land that seed to be barren of anything, there wasn’t even anything in the sky.
It seed that other than them, they were just in the void.
That was the aning of the Void Battlefield.
After entering the Void Battlefield, everyone started splitting up.
With the way that all of the others were heading off, it seed that they already knew what they were looking for. Most likely because of the advice that had been passed down by the elders of their sects.
I was about to ask if there was a place for us to go as well, but Liu Ao Xue suddenly started leading the way before I could ask.
It seed like they had also told her a few things about where to go.
Since that was the case, there was no need to be in a rush.
I had directions from the system on where I needed to go, but there was no need for to go there right away. Instead, it was better for to go along with Liu Ao Xue and see what kind of things were in this Void Battlefield.
The more that I saw of this Void Battlefield, the more it would help later.
After all, having a good understanding of the Void Battlefield was never a bad thing.
It didn’t take long for us to arrive at the place that Liu Ao Xue wanted to go.
It was this strange place that seed to be an area that had an energy do around it.
The inside of the energy do didn’t have anything there either, other than a single thing that was at the center. It was this strange mass that I couldn’t see the true form of that was just lying there in the center of the energy do.
It seed like there was sothing special about it, but it was hard to tell what it was since the energy do wasn’t transparent, but rather translucent. So to a certain degree, my vision of the thing was blocked.
Once we arrived, Liu Ao Xue stopped and turned to Mu Bao Bao who imdiately revealed a confused look.
Liu Ao Xue pointed at the energy do and said, "Go in and take the inheritance."
Mu Bao Bao was even more confused when she heard this, but after I gave her a nod, she went forward.
She had no idea what was happening, but it seed like she was going along with it because she wanted to see what would happen.
The energy do didn’t stop her from entering, it even seed like it readily accepted her when she walked into the energy do.
But the mont that she did, the energy do seed to change.
It was as if it suddenly beca thicker.
I was a bit worried, so I went forward to enter the energy do myself, but I found that I wasn’t able to go through the energy do. The energy do becoming thicker had made it so that no one else could go through it.
It seed like Mu Bao Bao also wasn’t able to leave as she found that the energy do wouldn’t let her through again.
The mass in the center of the energy do started to stir after Mu Bao Bao stepped into the energy do.
This mass trembled once before it seed to beco smaller.
It seed that it was a layer of dust and dirt that was gathered around the item in the center, which made it seem like that unknown mass just now. However, once the layer of dirt and dust had been blown off the item, it revealed its true form.
The true form of this item was...a zither.
The mont that its true form appeared, there was a lody that filled the air.
This was a lody that was filled with power, greater than anything that we had heard at the Heavenly Conference. There was no doubt that this zither belonged to an expert of the past that had fallen to this Void Battlefield.
In that case, what was happening now was a trial to see if this zither would recognize the person that had stepped into this inheritance.
That ant that this was a trial for Mu Bao Bao.
If it was anyone else, then I might have been worried.
But since it was Mu Bao Bao, there was no need for us to worry.
She was the zither champion of the Heavenly Conference after all.
Mu Bao Bao even had a slightly disappointed look on her face as she looked at the zither. It was almost as if she was disappointed with the lody that it was playing.
The zither continued to float there in the sky as it played its lody, almost as if it was taunting Mu Bao Bao into playing a better one.
Mu Bao Bao continued staring at the zither for a bit before waving her hand to take out her own zither.
The mont that her zither ca out, there was a second of pause from the zither floating there. It was as if it recognized how powerful Mu Bao Bao’s zither was and it acknowledged that it was superior.
But the zither continued to play, as if it was accepting the challenge that ca from Mu Bao Bao’s zither.
This zither was clearly of a higher grade than the zithers that the other young geniuses used since it didn’t snap at the sight of Mu Bao Bao’s zither.
So the trial of obtaining the zither’s acceptance began.
