Though it was said that people were coming, it took a week before they actually arrived.
It wasn’t as if they could just drop everything and rush to our Star Peak Sect.
It was an official visit, so they had to do things properly.
But all that did was serve to annoy those that were coming.
When they arrived, it was clear by the looks on their faces that they were very anxious.
Like they were worried that sothing would have happened in the ti that they weren’t able to co to the Star Peak Sect.
The elders talked amongst themselves while the young...went looking for a certain thing. Or rather, it was better to say that all of them went looking for a certain soone.
That ended with them coming to the courtyard that had been prepared for at the Star Peak Sect.
Since this was an official visit, it wasn’t as if they were going to the Falling Star Sect, so we were waiting in the Star Peak Sect.
This was a courtyard that was right beside Liu Ao Xue’s courtyard in the Star Peak Sect that had been prepared for .
When these youths arrived, the first thing that they did was anxiously look for soone. It was as if they were worried that sothing would happen if they were to delay.
So they rushed in while we were still having tea.
They completely ruined the atmosphere without a single care, there was only one thing that they seed to care about.
"Xue’er, are you alright?"
That was the only thing that they seed to say as they rushed in.

All of them were suppressed by the pressure that ca from in front of them when they heard this. They couldn’t help taking several steps back until they were completely out of the courtyard.
In that mont of peace, Liu Ao Xue looked at with an awkward look while also casting a grateful look to Mu Bao Bao. However, it didn’t seem like Mu Bao Bao cared at all as she was still focused on eating.
It seed like she had only done it to get rid of the flies that were annoying her.
Liu Ao Xue looked back at like she was asking sothing and I gave a nod in response.
Since they had co for my woman, how could I sit still?
When the two of us ca out, we saw that all of the youths that were here still hadn’t recovered yet. However, the mont that we ca out, their attention went to Liu Ao Xue.
Liu Ao Xue knew what they were about to do, so she didn’t hesitate to raise her hand and create a wall of ice around her. This wall of ice wasn’t just around her, but also around as well.
Once this wall of ice ca up, they acted like she had expected them to act and they charged at her. It was just that the wall of ice was in the way, which stopped them from coming over to where Liu Ao Xue and I were standing.
At the sa ti, they could feel the chill that was coming from this wall of ice.
It was so strong that they had no choice but to move back.

It was the sa thing as before where they called out to Liu Ao Xue, but there was one thing that annoyed about this. It was the way that they were addressing Liu Ao Xue.
They kept calling her "Xue’er this, Xue’er that", it didn’t seem like sothing that I could accept as her man.
Liu Ao Xue even seed worried as she took my hand and looked at , but I just shook my head and said, "Don’t worry, I’ll take care of them."
She gave a firm nod in response.
The sharp eyes of these youths didn’t miss Liu Ao Xue taking my hand. They had been ignoring the entire ti and only taking note of Liu Ao Xue, but they had no choice but to acknowledge now.
The way that they looked at was filled with hostility.
I didn’t care at all about the way that they looked at as I just looked at them all with a smile on my face.
The smile that I aid at them was the smile that had the pride of a victor. One that was clearly convinced of his victory over these people.
This provoked their pride and all of them were filled with rage. There was also a part of this rage that seed like they were angry that sothing that belonged to them was taken from them.
"Who are you and why are you with Xue’er?"
There wasn’t a single representative that asked this, it seed like they all wanted an answer and they asked at the sa ti. The only reason I understood was because they had all said the sa thing.
But I wasn’t fazed at all by them.
How could I be cowed by these ruffians that ca for my woman?
Seeing that I didn’t react at all made them even angrier and it seed like a few of them were about to explode.
It was only when they reacted like this that I made my move.
I took a step forward and reached out to take Liu Ao Xue by the shoulder before pulling her in towards .
Liu Ao Xue had a look of shock on her face when she felt do this, but there was also a blush that appeared. Not for a single second did she resist pulling her in like this.
Once she was in my arm and right beside , I looked at them and asked, "Is there sothing that you need from our Xue’er?"
The mont that they heard this, it was as if they had swallowed a mouthful of bugs.
