I wasn’t surprised to see the defenses of the system suddenly activating like this. I was even expecting it to happen since I knew that I wouldn’t have been able to resist the lashback that would co from destroying that Refining Crystal on my own.
As for why I was expecting it, it was because the system was the one that wanted to destroy the Refining Crystal in the first place.

In the first place, I wouldn’t have been strong enough to shatter the Refining Crystal like that with how hard it was. If it wasn’t for the supporting power of the system, I wouldn’t have been able to crush it with just one stomp.
