The cars stopped on the right side of the avenue, watching the massive Oasis battleship leading the convoy of the Five Major Villages as it slowly approached.

Lin Feng’s team was accustod to Oasis Town, but Ma Chenfeng’s newly joined squad showed a look of shock.

Through brief exchanges, Lin Feng and the others learned that Ma Chenfeng’s squad had been active in the north. Because they were wanted, they could only survive in the deep wilderness, and the little resources they gathered were exploited in trades with the Hunter Squad.

If they were lucky enough to encounter a second-tier settlent, they could send mbers to exchange for urgently needed living resources.

Large mobile bases like the Oasis battleship typically don’t appear in town-level settlents, but due to Oasis’s special nature and its critical role in intelligence gathering, the battleship was dispatched.

When Oasis Town reached them, Lin Feng, the leader, took a deep breath, standing on the slope, looking towards the distant Holy Spring Village:

"Let’s go, Father Su An has probably been waiting for a long ti."

Everyone nodded and returned to their respective cars.

Once Lin Feng rode the Rock Horse Battle Car and reached near Holy Spring Village along Oasis Avenue, they saw as many as sixty guards wearing armor and ard, stationed on the vehicles at the periter from afar.

Especially at the gate, there stood more than ten guards, including fully ard Evolvers and priests in Early Tier One battle armor.

The strength of the guards had increased several tis compared to before.

It seed the situation had reached a precarious point, only awaiting the higher-ups on both sides to announce action.

When Lin Feng’s convoy was a hundred ters from the Holy Spring Village gate, the guards raised their guns, ordering them to halt and preventing entry within a hundred ters of Holy Spring Village.

It wasn’t until the forr captain of the guards reported to the leading combat priest that the latter realized and proactively jumped down from the battle car and approached.

Stopping beside the Rock Horse Battle Car, he politely spoke to Lin Feng seated in the passenger seat:

"Mr. Lin, Oasis’s situation has been tense recently, and Holy Spring Village is under total lockdown; no external vehicles are allowed inside. I’ve arranged for soone to report to Lord Su An, and if Mr. Lin is in a hurry, you may enter the village to et Lord Su An."

"The other vehicles and personnel need to remain outside the village."

"We ask for Mr. Lin’s understanding."

Lin Feng nodded, instructing his n to wait outside, while he took two portions of Tier Two Wasteland Wolf Source Material and two firearms under his cloak, entering Holy Spring Village led by the combat priest.

At this ti, the village was devoid of the previous cheerful hustle and bustle, with students returning to their dorm car to study and rest after eating post-school als.

When Lin Feng reached the familiar office car and entered to et Father Su An, the latter looked haggard.

Even his Mid-Tier Two aura had beco sowhat weakened, no longer as robust and deep as before.

Evidently, for the upcoming battle, he had already spent and overexerted too much effort.

Seeing Lin Feng, he took out an arm-thick Evolution Agent from his bosom, handing it over:

"Zheng Yan Ying has already reported to about the relic matter. Thank you for taking care of Yueyue and your efforts in finding the Tier Two wolf corpses."

"This is the reward we agreed upon."

Lin Feng looked at the Tier Two Evolution Agent before him, nodded, but didn’t reach out to take it.

Father Su An’s slightly haggard face then showed a slight smile:

"Now then..."

"Let’s hear the extra good news you’ve brought!"
