Chapter 158: Savage Wolf Shelter Location

Dear Readers,

For those who were confused about recent changes, I want to let you know that I have updated and refined the story. So fight scenes that felt repetitive or boring have been removed or improved to make the pacing smoother and more engaging.

Because of this, a few Chapters may have shifted back or been revised. This was done to improve the overall quality and reading experience.

Thank you for your patience and continued support. The story is now better and stronger than before. ??

January 26th, outdoor temperature -70 degrees Celsius.

Three days had passed since the plants were harvested.

The end of the extre cold was now within reach, and the chat channel was filled with cheers.

The Survivors who had managed to survive until now were either exceptionally capable or had joined powerful Shelters to huddle together for warmth.

Because the final changes of the extre cold did not bring them more terrifying disasters.

Therefore, overcoming this extre cold natural disaster was basically a sure thing.

Sitting on the sofa, watching group after group of Survivors celebrating prematurely, Vikram’s expression grew increasingly tense.

The situation was not as good as they imagined, according to his projections.

Even during the peaceful period before this natural disaster began, the outside world would not be too safe.

At least, judging by the gradually increasing red dots on the biological detector, the number of zombies was also growing.

He closed the channel and rubbed his temples, a headache brewing.

Fortunately, not everything bad had happened so far.

Early this morning, Vikram received two pieces of good news.

The first was that the remaining corn and peanuts in the cultivated land had fully matured.

The second was that the unruly slave he had planted in Brown Wood Shelter had not disappointed him; he had indeed obtained the exact coordinates of Savage Wolf Shelter.

Originally, he had been sowhat worried that Abhishek wouldn’t get the information before the next natural disaster began, but now it seed his worries were unnecessary.

"Hmph, hmph, the natural disaster is about to end, it’s the perfect ti for

to settle scores."

However, there was still so ti until then. He slowly got up from the sofa and turned to enter the greenhouse.

Since there weren’t too many crops, the task of harvesting the corn and peanuts was directly handed over to the three of them.

Now, their respective backpacks were filled with the Shelter’s latest crops.

As expected, the cultivated crops were still of rare quality.

He contentedly stored these supplies in the Shelter’s warehouse.

It’s worth ntioning that, just as the Shelter’s crop harvest was gratifying, so were the changes in the chicken coop.

Since the last ti the chicken coop was repaired, perhaps due to the improved environnt, or perhaps because the hens had fully grown to maturity, egg-laying efficiency showed a linear increase. Vikram even went to observe it specifically.

Now, each hen basically maintained a speed of laying two eggs every three days.

Of course, these were all eggs that could only be eaten; the proportion of eggs that could truly hatch chicks again was not large.

However, at this egg-laying rate, the Shelter had also harvested about ten eggs over three days.

He certainly wouldn’t take the four eggs that could hatch chicks.

Leaving them in the chicken coop for the hens to incubate was a better choice.

Anyway, he didn’t mind having too many livestock in the Territory.

When it reached the point where he couldn’t afford to raise them, that would be his ti to enjoy chicken at.

As for now, it was still early.

In the chat box, his hands moved continuously, constantly sending the information he wanted to convey.

Since there was nothing particularly important to do right now, he might as well spend more ti learning about Savage Wolf Shelter.

And the person to gather this information was, naturally, Abhishek, the double-crosser.

Vikram now completely understood this small fry from Brown Wood Shelter.

He had the typical personality of a stubborn rogue; give him a little kindness, and even with the slave bracelet, he would absolutely take advantage.

So now, as soon as Vikram saw any sign of him putting on airs, he would imdiately activate the bracelet’s chanism.

Only this kept him much more obedient.

[Abhishek: Vikram Boss, what do you need

for again?]

[Abhishek: It’s not about the Savage Wolf Shelter’s coordinates again, is it? I guarantee that location is absolutely accurate, Boss, you can rest assured.]

Abhishek was very confident about his source of information.

[Vikram: Not that. This ti I’m looking for you because I want to ask about so specific information regarding Savage Wolf Shelter.]

[Vikram: Like the number of mbers in their Shelter and their strength, and so on.]

As the saying goes, know yourself and your enemy, and you will win a hundred battles.

Although he had a cheat, it didn’t stop him from gathering more information, lest he capsize in a ditch when the ti ca.

[Abhishek: Vikram Boss, you’re making it difficult for , aren’t you? Last ti I got the coordinates, I put in a lot of effort.]

[Abhishek: This ti you want the specific number of mbers and their strength? Where am I supposed to get that for you?]

Before he could finish this sentence, Vikram directly activated the bracelet’s electric shock ability.

Inside a room much better than the multi-person dormitory Abhishek had previously lived in, a figure fell heavily from the bed to the floor...

Accompanying the convulsions throughout his body, Abhishek clenched his fists unwillingly, "Still no way?"

The electric shock ended, his black hair standing on end from the current. Disregarding the other mbers in the sa environnt, Abhishek got up on his own.

A trace of desolation flashed in his eyes, eventually dimming, and he raised his left arm with an expression of complete resignation.

[Vikram: Don’t give

that unseemly talk again.]

[Vikram: I can easily let you climb up step by step in Brown Wood Shelter, and I can just as easily take your life.]

[Abhishek: I understand, Vikram Boss.]

Regarding Abhishek’s continuous attempts to test his bottom line, he no longer wanted to tolerate it.

As soon as the probing began, an electric shock was more effective than anything else.

To prevent this dog from constantly trying to gain benefits whenever he was asked to do sothing.

If it weren’t to raise his status in Brown Wood Shelter to better obtain information, he wouldn’t want to give him a single physique fruit.

[Vikram: This ti, you don’t need to specifically investigate. Just tell

the general information about your Shelter. That’s enough.]

Vikram had his own considerations this ti.

That is, there was no need to specifically investigate the number and strength of mbers of Savage Wolf Shelter; using the data from Brown Wood Shelter as a reference would suffice.

Since they were both among the three major Shelters, their strengths should not differ too much.

[Abhishek: Yes, Vikram Boss.]

[Abhishek: Our Shelter now has expanded to forty-eight mbers, twenty-five of whom are low-level laborers with little combat power.]

[Abhishek: Above that are the middle-level mbers who have taken a few physique fruits, numbering around fifteen.]

[Abhishek: Finally, there are the high-level mbers whose four-dinsional physiques are around thirty. Including the Boss, our Shelter only has eight such mbers.]

[Abhishek: This is the general strength of our Shelter.]

After several explanations from Abhishek, Vikram also generally understood the situation of Brown Wood Shelter.

As one of the three major Shelters, how should he put it, their power was indeed formidable.

Even though more than half of them were laborers, the number of mbers with actual combat power was not small.

Moreover, there were nearly ten high-level mbers whose physique reached twenty.

It should be known that the upper limit for four-dinsional physique improvent through physique fruit and vitality fruit is twenty points each.

While the base values vary from person to person, very few people are born with ten points in all four dinsions of physique.

When he first tested his physique, his highest four-dinsional stat, stamina, was only 8 points.

In other words, their Shelter had gathered nearly eight crimson orbs.

This was sowhat terrifying; Vikram had never seen so many orbs.

But then he thought they had many people, and Abhishek ntioned that their Shelter often robbed and plundered.

With that in mind, he felt relieved.

He turned to look at Anjali, who was intently staring at the screen beside him. Vikram didn’t know her initial physique.

However, having now reached a physique of 30 points in all four dinsions through fruits and orbs, she was clearly at the strength level of a top Shelter’s high-level mber.

He secretly thought that these large Shelters had indeed known about the existence of crimson orbs for a long ti.

Important information would simply not circulate to these ordinary Survivors who banded together for warmth.

Lost in thought, Vikram forgot that he had been staring at Anjali.

She seed to sense his gaze, and her fair face gradually turned red. Imdiately, she turned half her body to the other side, trying to avoid his stare.

Her actions interrupted his thoughts. Snapping back to reality, he ignored Anjali’s situation and continued his conversation with Abhishek.

It wasn’t until half an hour later that he released his gaze from the chat window.

His first thought after stopping the information gathering was that this slave wristband was simply the most good thing, and now only he has nine left.

In Brown Wood Shelter, Abhishek told him all the important information he knew, spilling it like beans.

Furthermore, he didn’t need to worry about the authenticity of the intelligence, as the wristband’s commands would trigger a punishnt chanism if violated.

Now, he only needed to infer the whole from a part, using this data to simply simulate the situation of Savage Wolf Shelter.

Then he could make full preparations and catch Savage Wolf Shelter off guard.

"Savage Wolf Shelter."

Looking at the exact coordinates Abhishek provided, Vikram’s face was filled with a sneer.

The location was not far, a significant deviation from his imagined distance of thousands of miles.

This was thanks to the previous natural disaster that halved the land area, providing such a good opportunity now.

It was about 310 kiloters in a straight line from his Shelter.

It would take three or four hours of driving to reach it.

And this ti he has planned not to wipe out the Savage Wolf Shelter.

But he has planned to take over it, and for the leader, he has already in his mind about Alex’s little group. He will just give them Primal Evolution Fruit, and they will beco stronger.

After all, taking the Savage Wolf Shelter has more benefits than wiping it out, since it was one of the three major Shelters.

But he couldn’t just fight and run. If he ca back later, once the opponent discovered his strength, there was a high probability they would flee first.

Vikram was very confident in his physique. He didn’t believe anyone in the Wasteland World currently had a higher physique than his.

All local foods that could boost physique had been used to their limit, plus the fifteen-point attribute bonus to all four dinsions from the primal evolution fruit and crimson orb.

If soone had a higher physique than him, they must also be a cheating player like him.

Now that he thought about it, there was actually enough ti; there were still four days until the natural disaster ended.

He still had over ten thousand Plant Essence left from before, even after continuously fixing and adding the things in Territory 2.
