At the end of the highway.

This was a human settlent. A battle had just ended, with over twenty ard thugs lying in pools of blood. However, a closer look would reveal that the majority of them had been shot in the back.

Clearly, they had been ambushed.

"Haha, brothers, hurry up and clear the battlefield. The 'Pig Emperor' is definitely in trouble. We must grab what we can and evacuate before other factions arrive," a bald, eyebrowless man with a black scorpion tattooed on his scalp shouted loudly, a shotgun slung over his shoulder.

"Haha, don't worry, boss! We owe this one to Second Brother!"

His n laughed in unison, their movents to clear the battlefield becoming even faster.

Hearing this, the bald man looked at the man standing beside him, a satisfied expression on his face.

This man was tall and slender. Although his features were quite handso and his appearance was above average, a closer look would reveal a faint hint of sickness flickering deep within his eyes.

"Good job, babe. Thanks for getting the information to us in ti, letting the brothers seize the initiative. I'll make sure to reward you properly once we get back."

"What exactly happened to the 'Pig Emperor'?"

The handso man shook his head with a smile.

"I'm not sure either. I've been undercover here for a while now. Before, he would often disappear for a period with those wild boars, but this ti was clearly different.

Last night, all the piglets in the pen beca extrely restless and agitated. They ended up biting the caretaker who went to check on them to death. Right then, I figured the 'Pig Emperor' might be in trouble."

The bald man rubbed his large, smooth head and nodded slightly.

"Rumor has it that the 'Pig Emperor's' wild boars are quite miraculous, able to understand his speech. They probably have so kind of empathic connection with him. If those piglets are restless, there's a ninety percent chance the 'Pig Emperor' is dead!"

"That's what I thought too. That's why I notified you guys imdiately. Anyway, after all this ti, I've already gathered all the information on the 'Pig Emperor'..." The handso man's words were cut short.

The bald man's head exploded right in front of him, blood splattering across his face.

A second later, the heavy, powerful report of a gunshot echoed from the distance.

"Enemy attack!"

At the first sound of gunfire, so scavengers began shouting.

The handso man also instinctively moved to take cover, but the mont his body shifted, he felt sothing pierce through his shoulder.

Then, a trendous force sent him flying backward.

*Thud—*

The handso man stared in disbelief at the blood flowing from his body, then saw the surging tide of rats rushing toward them from the distance.

So many rats, truly an overwhelming number.

There were all kinds. These rats ignored the handso man lying on the ground, instead swarming past him to pounce on the other scavengers.

*Squeak squeak—*

"What is this?" The handso man felt nothing but endless terror and absurdity.

This battle held no difficulty for Yu Yuan.

Especially with the help of the rat swarm, those dozen or so scavengers had no chance to resist at all.

Forced out by the rat tide, Yu Yuan picked them off one by one with precise sniper fire.

The battle ended.

Yu Yuan rode Mie Mie to the settlent and walked up to the handso man.

Looking at the guy playing dead on the ground, he curled his lip slightly.

"I know my own marksmanship. You're not dead. If you keep pretending, I'll have the rat swarm eat you alive..."

The mont his words fell, the handso man imdiately opened his eyes.

"R-Rat Emperor, spare my life..."

Yu Yuan: ???

What kind of ridiculous title was that?

"I ask, you answer. Understood?"

Zhi Zhi had already arrived on Yu Yuan's shoulder, and the rat swarm gradually closed in.

Perhaps because they had just been through a battle, the fur of these rodent creatures was stained with quite a bit of blood.

So of the rats' eyes were completely bloodshot.

When they all turned their gazes toward the handso man in unison,

the handso man admitted he was utterly terrified.

The last ti he had been this scared was when the 'Pig Emperor' had wild boars devour a traitor right in front of him.

"Understood, understood! Rat Emperor, please speak..."

"I ask you..."

A few minutes later, the handso man was stored away by Yu Yuan into the Loser's Cube.

Yu Yuan had already figured out the situation here.

It just goes to show, none of the top hundred players are simple.

Mountain Stone, relying on the deterrence of those wild boars, especially the three Bronze-tier ones, had successfully attracted many scavengers and raiders to join him, establishing himself as a sowhat famous faction in this area.

This settlent was his stronghold, while his actual shelter was located in a bunker not far behind the settlent.

This settlent was essentially where he raised his wild boars, serving as an outpost for his shelter.

The handso man was originally the second-in-command of this raider group. They coveted the supplies in Mountain Stone's possession and pretended to pledge allegiance.

And the handso man did have so skills. He successfully won Mountain Stone's favor, thanks to his relatively good looks in the wasteland world and his decent... posterior-related techniques.

He slowly gathered information and waited for an opportunity.

Until last night, he deduced from the unusual behavior of the piglets that the 'Pig Emperor' was likely in serious trouble.

Today, he notified the bald man to co attack the stronghold.

At the critical mont, he successfully betrayed them, firing from the shadows to secure this battle victory.

Now that he had obtained the intelligence he wanted, Yu Yuan didn't waste any more ti.

He first went to the pigpen, where three wild boar piglets were being raised.

According to the handso man, these three piglets were all offspring of Mountain Stone's two Bronze-tier sows.

Originally, there were nine, but only these three were kept.

Yu Yuan naturally understood why these three were kept.

On his Combat Detector, the level displayed for these three wild boar piglets was clearly [Bronze-tier].

In other words, Mountain Stone was also breeding Bronze-tier wild boars. One could imagine that once these three piglets grew up, his Bronze-tier combat power would directly double.

That kind of growth rate was no joke.

Yu Yuan naturally had no reason to let these three piglets go. Weren't Jiu Feng and Miller researching the genetic inheritance of Spiritual Creatures?

These were perfect test subjects!

Although these three wild boars were Bronze-tier, they weren't fully grown yet. They might pose a significant threat to ordinary people, but they were no match for Yu Yuan.

In a few quick moves, he stored these three wild boar piglets into the Loser's Cube.

Following the intelligence from the handso man, Yu Yuan thoroughly looted all the survival supplies belonging to the thugs in this settlent, as well as the weapons and equipnt dropped by both sides of the battle.

Then, he headed toward the location of the Mountain Stone Shelter.

Along the way, Yu Yuan also saw a fairly large mud pond. This pond was likely prepared to provide the wild boars with that layer of mud coating.

While Yu Yuan was collecting the piglets and supplies, Zhi Zhi had already directed the rat swarm ahead of ti to locate the shelter's position and scout the surrounding area.

Perhaps because of the settlent and his subordinate guards, there weren't any traps around the Mountain Stone Shelter.

Yu Yuan soon saw the entrance to the Mountain Stone Shelter.
