Moon.

Building No. 5 in Jade City stood in the eastern district of Guanghan Palace.

Inside the high-rise, the eting of the Divine Spirit Managent Bureau was nearing its end.

"Everyone must remain alert and perceptive; we are currently facing the most severe challenge since the establishnt of this bureau."

"Our work is to maintain the order of divine spirits within the New World and establish a positive relationship between gods and humans. All rules and regulations are based on this. This is also the original intention of the chairman in setting up this departnt, so please keep it in mind."

"Therefore, the investigation and pursuit of the Evil God 'God of Ten Thousand chanisms' will continue. We must intensify our efforts and will not stop because of its concealnt!"

"The investigation team sent by the company headquarters will thoroughly investigate the God of Ten Thousand chanisms together with us. Everyone should share information, and all purposes are aid at quickly and promptly arresting this illegal deity."

After the eting ended.

Lin Long was called to stay by the director.

Standing in front of the gemstone screen, Lin Long was slightly nervous.

He always felt a bit uneasy facing the director.

Not because of any mistake or problem at work, but due to historical issues.

Back then, Lin Long worked as a Law Enforcent Officer in the Civil Aviation Departnt, on duty at Sha Port Western Airport. He encountered a skateboarding child, caught the kid, and asked about their guardian. He didn't let the child act alone and escorted him all the way to Bei Ta of the company's trio.

Along the way, Lin Long earnestly advised, saying you, a kid, shouldn't run off; it's dangerous outside. He criticized the kid and taught him airport rules and so life lessons.

This child is now Director Jue Mingzi.

At the ti, Lin Long didn't realize the other party was a chanical Life because, in appearance and deanor, Jue Mingzi looked just like a human boy.

Although he knew this afterward, he didn't pay much attention to it.

A person's fate is unpredictable.

In the company's internal transfer exam at the beginning of the year, he ranked third with excellent scores. Lin Long originally intended to go to the Mars Affairs Departnt because the developnt there was rapid, the salary was twice that of Earth, and they also needed law enforcent officers.

But when filling out the aspirational form, Biting Cat, who was in charge of selection, told him: "Your performance is excellent, and your law enforcent experience fits, so there's an additional choice."

"The company plans to establish a new departnt specifically responsible for the special affairs of the New World, requiring law enforcent officers. The inco there is higher than on Mars, but it requires a permanent position on the Moon, and the positions are limited. They're seeking elite employees with company experience."

Just like this.

Lin Long was admitted to the Divine Spirit Managent Bureau, becoming a law enforcent officer in the New World.

Although in this matter, Director Jue Mingzi probably didn't pay much attention, Lin Long always recalled that past scene.

"Lin Long."

The director's chanical voice pulled him back to reality.

"Yes, director."

"Let introduce you to a mber of the company's investigation team."

Beside him, a sea person walked out.

It wore a deep blue uniform, appearing a bit slender in its untransford state, but its eyes were spirited, and its deanor was composed.

"This is Hatway from the Security Departnt. It participated in cracking the Dead Sea relocation fraud case and black card fraud in the Dead Sea Park, among other major cases. It has rich investigative experience and is a capable enforcer sent by the Sea Hunting Departnt."

"Hatway, let introduce you as well."

The director continued: "Lin Long, our bureau's excellent law enforcent officer, has five years of experience in law enforcent in Sand Port and has also shown exceptional insight and information-gathering ability in the New World. It was he who first discovered and reported the Evil God 'God of Ten Thousand chanisms.' To date, our most important firsthand information is collected by Lin Long's team."

"Unfortunately, the God of Ten Thousand chanisms was alert and cleverly hid away, causing many leads to break. You will need to work together, uncover its identity as soon as possible, and arrest it to prevent further disruption of the normal order of the New World."

"You should coordinate well. You can contact if there's anything you need."

The director's screen then went dark.

He evidently went on to attend to other work.

Hatway imdiately said, "Please take to the cri scene first."

Lin Long first led it all the way into the bureau's law enforcent office.

There was a row of special Evil Brain Motors here. They were structured like gemstone spheres, resembling oversized crystal eggs, with the Evil Brain Motors fixed inside and gemstone fibers trailing into Building No. 5.

Hatway showed a curious expression: "Are these the [Law Enforcent Officer] Evil Brain Motors of the managent bureau?"

Lin Long nodded: "They connect through the director and use the Bottled Sprite technology to project the Consciousness completely into the New World. No matter the Life Level, there's no impact. However, because there are currently only two Light Core Level chanical Lives, only they can support it, so it's limited to our internal work for now."

"The operation is quite similar to ordinary Evil Brains."

They entered the operation cabin and initiated the projection.

Soon.

They t on the streets of Chongqing in the New World.

Lin Long was very familiar with this place because Chongqing was the jurisdiction of him and another law enforcent officer partner.

His gaze swept over the pedestrians in the city, the shop owners, employees, and custors in the shops - this had already beco a kind of professional habit.

In the eyes of a law enforcent officer, an [Identity] would float above each of these peoples' heads, easily identifiable.

"This is the place."

Lin Long stopped in front of an inconspicuous little shop.

The sign above it had green background with white characters saying "Jiyu Pharmacy," a small drugstore. However, at this mont, the shutter was pulled down, the outside sealed with white tape labeled [Divine Spirit Managent Bureau].
