Zhou Yi first asked the other, "What's your na?"
"What's your na?"
"My na is Zhou Yi."
"Then I'll be called Zhou Yi too."
"..."
Zhou Yi had to correct, "Nas are ant to differentiate you from , just like the music you control, each with its own lody and na. You can give yourself one."
"I don't know how."
The electronic music said, "I only understand songs, not those things you're talking about."
Zhou Yi thought for a mont, "Then you'll be called mic master. In my hotown, it refers to soone who can sing lots of songs continuously."
"I am mic master!"
Imdiately, the other side kicked off "Tumultuous Superstar," creating for itself a generous and impassioned entrance music.
It really did co with its own BGM.
The following exchange beca much smoother.
Mic master had mories of always being in this box called A6, basically wandering around the box.
It didn't have the five senses like those of flesh and blood life; it interacted with the world through music.
As for its own detailed situation, it found it very difficult to describe.
In the end, it was Xiao Fu from the Reverse Flow Model 2 who stepped forward to translate, "The world that guy sees is a congloration of life's mory cores. We observe the Outer World where matter exists, but it sees the Inner World of consciousness."
Now Zhou Yi understood.
Mic master said, "Every ti I enter a world, I can connect to it through song. But I don't know many songs, so if I run out of them, I eventually have to leave. Zhou Yi, you're the only one who has entered my world, and your songs are aweso."
Zhou Yi found it odd, "But can't you just loop a single song?"
"That's the connection status, but once the other gets through this loop, it moves on to the next song."
When it ca to songs, mic master's descriptions grew rich and detailed.
Once the Conscious Key intercepted and achieved connection, mic master's conceptual abilities would unfold.
If you could sing along to the BGM and complete a song, then this loop would end quickly, moving to the next one. Otherwise, it would take a longer ti to get through the scene.
Those within it would enter different scenarios based on different BGMs, all closely related to the connector themselves.
Like when Zhou Yi heard "Congratulations" and was in a supermarket, hearing "Friendship Years" landed him in prison – these were his own imaginary constructs within the connection.
Different people would create different imaginary constructs.
Underground in the caves, lives that got close to mic master were trapped in musical loops, undergoing constant combat in tense scenes, until their consciousness faded and they died.
But in mic master's perception, it was just entering different worlds, touching and sensing the surroundings through music.
It was just that this kind of touch was deadly music to many lives.
So far, only Zhou Yi managed to break the cycle and even entered mic master's world.
All of its songs had been sung through by Zhou Yi. In mic master's view, it was Zhou Yi who had traversed the outer labyrinth made of songs and entered its spiral core.
Zhou Yi then asked Model 2, "Have you Reverse Flows ever collected Concept Life?"
"It is said there are so, this is a very rare type of Spark."
Xiao Fu said, "But I don't have any practical experience in this area, so I can't give you any advice."
I'll have to figure it out on my own.
Zhou Yi prepared to give it a try.
He took the player and headed to Yalong Bay first, boarding the Sea God controlled by Red Kestrel.
Activating the Circumference Light Device.
Around the A6 player, a special wave structure erged, rippling outwards in concentric circles.
The Concept Life was compressed by Zhou Yi into an electronic tattoo, stored on his shoulder.
This ti compressing the Fire Seed Life took less energy than last ti with Duke Baili, only costing 1900 energy points. This showed the Concept Life's accumulation of information was not much; it mainly enhanced itself by those drawing near, lying in wait like a spider in a web.
Throughout the process, mic master showed no resistance, and agreed quite easily to join the Wasteland Developnt Company.
It only said, "There are actually three worlds connected together, Chairman, you're really huge!"
Next to the silver triangle on Zhou Yi's left shoulder, representing Duke Baili, appeared an eighth note.
The transition of Concept Life 'mic master' was successful.
Zhou Yi realized that now he could instantly connect with mic master, no longer needing to sing songs for several hours.
He switched out the carrier of mic master from the A6 player to himself.
The other responded, "I feel like I'm gathering energy much faster, should be able to touch even further places."
Zhou Yi did a test and confird mic master's radiation range to be about 200 ters in radius. However, to ensure the successful initiation of BGM battles and smooth interception by the Conscious Key, the closer the distance, the better.
Moreover, if enclosed in a sealed environnt or if sound propagation was blocked, the effect would be greatly reduced.
Different from the Guangna Species that Zhou Yi had encountered before, mic master's chanism was odd.
If you didn't know its information beforehand and got pulled into the BGM, you'd have to complete the entire musical track loop. Even a prodigy, able to sing every song and starting imdiately upon entry, would still be locked for at least 350 minutes.
It was super hard control.
Even if you were as talented as Skywalker, getting caught by mic master would force you to sing – if you didn't finish, you had to endure.
Zhou Yi felt a thrill of pleasure.
Although he hadn't found any architectural life, gaining mic master with its bizarre chanism was another kind of surprise.
The mic master's strength was related to two factors.
First, the carrier itself.
Second, the number of tracks and the quality.
Previously, its carrier was an A6 player, which was barely better than nothing.
After switching to Zhou Yi as the carrier, the mic master was able to receive energy supplents and input from Zhou Yi, allowing it to imrse itself in high-fidelity BGM for longer periods, with stronger music loop effects, and its endurance was maxed out.
The number of tracks ant it needed more new songs to expand its music library.
Intense music triggered battles, soft music eased suspicions, and lodious tunes evoked mories; suitable BGM made it harder for the entrants to detach.
As for quality, it had to ensure the songs could trigger a resonance in consciousness, which was a matter of opinion.
Zhou Yi also found out that the mic master could also pick up and tune the songs he humd, though the whole process took a very long ti.
He was self-aware enough to know he was definitely frequently off-key. When it ca to music, he tended toward being tone-deaf; he could hum along with the original singer, but his solo singing was bound to be subpar.
"Your singing is amazing, and I don't even know it. Sing more for , please."
The mic master, however, was eager to learn: "As long as it's through tuning, I can correct their optimal rhythm and lody. Give one more song, then another, Chairman!"
Suddenly, Zhou Yi thought of sothing.
Right.
Digital music could be purchased on the online platform of Recursive City!
"Wait a minute for ."
Zhou Yi picked up the remote control and clicked to access the Recursive City page to find music.
Indeed, there was a large selection of tracks.
The most eye-catching was that previously seen Mr. MR Bean, who seed to be a big internet celebrity in the music field.
However, Zhou Yi didn't want these popular contemporary tunes. Due to the mic master's chanism, the more niche the song was, the better the lockdown effect of the loop.
The best would, of course, be songs from his own era.
Zhou Yi searched, and indeed, he found related records.
Within "Divine Era Music Collection 17," there were plenty of songs from the era of prehistoric humans.
"Thousand Songs of Separation," "Farewell Kiss," "Blue and White Porcelain," "Last Dance," "Elimination"...
All familiar nas.
This was exactly what he needed.
Zhou Yi took a look and found that there were a total of 100 songs in the collection; discounting the overlap with the mic master's own library, he could still add 82 new songs.
But these old songs were quite expensive.
Each cost between 3 to 4 Light Seeds, roughly 1 Light Seed per minute.
Zhou Yi listened for a few seconds, confird they were indeed the songs he knew, and then spent 293 Light Seeds to purchase the new songs from the collection.
Then, these tracks beca available for click-to-play.
Zhou Yi initiated the continuous play mode.
The lody of the music transmitted from the speaker of the remote control.
"Oh wow! This is impressive, very precise and elegant!"
The mic master began its learning and copying mode.
Zhou Yi clicked for more details on the album, wondering if he could find more similar collections.
The more songs the mic master had, the stronger it beca, making the investnt extrely worthwhile.
But in the music sales list of Recursive City, there was only Collection 17, nothing else.
Red Kestrel said, "The seller has only put this digital music album for sale in Recursive City; they haven't authorized it for sale elsewhere."
"It's quite normal because electronic authorization also relates to how popular the item is. If it were Mr. Bean's album, for example, Recursive City might even pay a licensing fee to acquire distribution rights, but for the extrely niche music you've chosen, you generally need to pay an exhibition fee."
That was sowhat disappointing.
Zhou Yi found that Mr. Bean was quite strong on the electronic music sales chart, ranking second, while "Divine Era Music Collection 17" wasn't on any chart at all.
He looked at the details of the collection.
However, underneath the price information for the collection content, two lines of fine print appeared.
Producer: Lingshan City.
Maker: Taishan Knight Order.
That legendary Taishan Knight?
They seed to have preserved or collected so data from the Divine Era.
Zhou Yi searched high and low and could not find any contact information for the Taishan Knight.
Red Kestrel explained, "It's produced by the Taishan Knight Order, but ultimately it was Lingshan City that purchased it and put it up for sale, with Recursive City just hosting distribution."
Zhou Yi asked, "What's Lingshan City?"
"Lingshan City is one of the core cities of Snow County, a chanical City inhabited by nurous ch-electric monks."
Zhou Yi was taken aback, "ch-electric monks play music?"
"Yes, music can inspire thought and creativity; there are quite a few monks there who form bands."
At this mont, Red Kestrel suddenly warned, "Two unfamiliar enhancers have been detected, quickly approaching Jade City."
Zhou Yi frowned.
What was this about?
