Ye Fan wanted to return ho and had to take a long journey.

He was currently located in the south of i City and needed to traverse most of the city to reach the northeast corner.

His ho was located in Chengguan Town in the northeast suburb of i City, technically belonging to a small town.

First, Ye Fan needed to plan a route ho.

Without radar, this would be a daunting task, but with radar, it beca much easier.

The five-kiloter radius scan clearly displayed everything around him.

"The roads outside are no longer passable, and the place with the least traffic and fewest zombies is to go out north, through the city center park, then in the direction of the road where construction is ongoing; there are relatively fewer zombies there."

Ye Fan could only see this far; beyond that distance, he couldn’t see.

Looking back, the Su Family Sisters were at the door seeing them off, while his newly created two Conscripts were responsible for protection.

Over at Villa No. 66, Gao Dongliang was also watching from afar, waving at Ye Fan when he saw him.

Ye Fan nodded at them, then led his team forward, heading straight for the northern iron wire fence of the villa area.

The wall wasn’t high, about one and a half ters, connected with cent pillars.

Xu Haoran took the lead and swiftly jumped over.

Imdiately, Chen Chuan, Luo Fei, and the Conscripts followed, jumping over the Wall.

Even the dic jumped over, and Xiaotian, needless to say, leaped effortlessly.

Ye Fan, feeling a bit embarrassed about climbing, gathered his strength, placed a hand on a cent pillar, and leaped over.

He made it! Without falling!

Though he scratched his pants, the quality of his Commander’s uniform was quite good and did not tear.

Ye Fan waved back without turning his head, very satisfied with the operation.

Leaving the villa area, the city center park lay ahead.

The park area was spacious, and during the outbreak of the biohazard, not many people were here. Without good hiding spots, no survivors lingered afterwards, making it the only area around with fewer zombies.

"Rember, in the city, avoid shooting unless necessary. Gunshots will attract large numbers of zombies. Vehicles can’t be used here, so escape will be an issue. If you absolutely need to fire, let Xu Haoran do it."

The soldiers nodded, fixing bayonets where possible.

In the park, about a hundred zombies wandered, appearing mostly to be transford elderly people.

These once tottering elderly now road vigorously, with blood-red eyes, no longer showing signs of old age.

"Advance!"

The troops moved forward, with Xiaotian charging ahead, directly tackling an elderly zombie mid-air and killing it instantly.

With lightning speed, Xiaotian was an efficient killing tool against solitary ordinary zombies.

Zombies roared as they surrounded them, and the Conscripts quickly advanced, bayonets ready for the kill.

In an open area such as the park, soldiers had the space to distance themselves from zombies; even with a hundred, they posed no real threat.

After ten minutes, the zombies in the park had been completely cleared.

They gathered gold and silver jewelry, which wasn’t much; over a hundred zombies yielded just over a hundred gold, averaging one gram of gold per zombie.

Ye Fan converted the money and continued to lead the team forward.

After exiting the city center park, they crossed the road towards Five Horse Road.

Five Horse Road was under construction, half of it blocked, leaving only the other half open for vehicles.

Thus, fewer vehicles passed through here at that ti, and the number of zombies was relatively low.

"Keep the noise down, advance steadily, step by step."

Ye Fan issued another order, and the soldiers continued steadily along the street.

Although the pace was slower, it was safer.

Moving at a snail’s pace, Ye Fan and his team spent an hour covering nearly two kiloters.

Then Ye Fan encountered the first difficult problem upon entering the city.

In front of them was the intersection of a road and a parallel street, with construction only reaching this point.

The intersection resembled hell, vehicles completely jamd together with no gaps at all, making the only way through atop the cars.

Among the abandoned traffic, so white bones could be seen, along with zombies slowly wandering.

Ye Fan looked around; he needed to go northeast, and currently had two choices to continue: cross the road north or turn right heading east.

To the north was a hospital, undoubtedly a zombie nest.

Heading east ant traveling on the surface, but there was also an underground tunnel, a small commodity clothing street. After passing this section, Yida City lood ahead, also known as Yida Amusent Park.

Ye Fan vaguely rembered an underground street containing a silverware shop selling snowflake silver jewelry and the like.

Though there was no gold, securing it could at least yield thousands of Money.

Ye Fan didn’t advance imdiately; he opened the Red Alert page to check the radar display and search for the next path.

Once the radar was turned on, Ye Fan felt a bit of a tingling sensation on his scalp.

He knew there must be a lot of zombies in the city, but he really didn’t expect there to be this many.

On the radar display within a ten-kiloter radius centered on him, the red dots nearly occupied everything.

At a glance, without exaggeration, there were definitely over two hundred thousand zombies within this range!

It’s important to note that this wasn’t even the city center, which highlights how dangerous it is.

In the hospital to the east, the red dots were simply uncountable.

And in the underground street to the north, there were also countless red dots, creating a deeply disturbing sight.

"Forget it, let’s stick to the surface; if we encounter danger in the underground street, there’s no way we can escape."

Ye Fan dismissed the idea of attacking the silver jewelry store for now, thinking that his current strength wouldn’t even be enough to fill the gaps in the zombies’ teeth.

He ordered the team to turn right towards the east. They didn’t walk in the middle of the street. The center was impassable; only the sidewalks on both sides allowed for barely passable movent, but they had to be cautious of zombies that could rush out from the street-side shops at any ti.

The soldiers guarded both sides, with Xiaotian clearing the way in front, as Ye Fan and the dics took the center.

After progressing slowly for a bit, they ca across a local comrcial bank’s savings office.

Ye Fan rarely went to banks in the past; he had no savings and didn’t dare use credit cards recklessly, only coming here occasionally to withdraw money his parents sent him.

As they were passing by, Ye Fan paused, noticing a few zombies in the bank’s teller windows, still in their uniforms, trapped inside with no way out.

Ye Fan walked inside, where several zombies waved their arms at him from behind bulletproof glass, while overturned cash boxes scattered with red bills littered the floor.

Ye Fan sighed; he had no intention of targeting this bank since such a small savings office was unlikely to have silver or gold reserves, and even so branches had very little. Only regional headquarters might have gold.

Not to ntion that even those headquarters were in the bustling city; even if he could get inside, opening the vault was an unsolvable problem.

Beside him, an ATM had been smashed open by so idiot, leaving about a hundred thousand dollars inside.

The soldiers at the door continued using bayonets to fend off approaching zombies, and Ye Fan didn’t linger, turning to leave.

They continued to advance steadily; even though Ye Fan was anxious, he couldn’t move faster. The group proceeded like street mice, sticking near the edge. Around eleven in the morning, they finally reached the entrance to Yida City.

"Phew! This snail’s pace is really getting to , but things should be easier now. As long as we pass through Yida City and then two more blocks, we’ll reach the residential area, where the number of zombies is a lot lower compared to the main street areas."

"Once we’re past the residential area, we’re on our way to the airport road and out of the city soon."

Ye Fan was following a diagonal path; once they passed this relatively bustling section, their movent speed could increase significantly.

Now, they needed to pass through Yida Amusent Park and climb over the wall from the back of the park.

"The amusent park is mostly for little kids or their mothers; even if they turn into zombies, they shouldn’t be very strong fighters. We can take advantage of this to level up my soldiers and collect so supplies."

Ye Fan’s plan was sound, reasoning that mothers taking children to the amusent park likely had good family conditions, undoubtedly wearing plenty of jewelry.

In the hours of fierce battle from earlier, Ye Fan’s money count had risen to over 500.

Here’s hoping for so gains here.

In front of them was Yida City, with a central arch adorned with cartoon designs, surrounded by scattered sculptures of animated characters, both dostic and international.

The parking lot out front was also chaotic, as if it had experienced an explosion, leaving the cars charred black.

Due to the explosion, there weren’t many zombies around the entrance. Ye Fan and his team hugged the wall as they approached the front gate.

They hadn’t gone far inside when Xiaotian suddenly stopped.

His ears stood up high, his fur slightly bristling, filled with alertness.

"What’s up? Could there be a lot of zombies nearby?"

Ye Fan imdiately had the team take cover behind the guards’ room and then opened the radar screen.

The radar was dense with red dots, and Ye Fan, having seen so much of it, was almost numb.

Within a five-kiloter radius, virtually the entire Yida City Amusent Park was within the screen’s range.

Ye Fan checked it out, and as he was about to close the screen due to the dizzying mass of red dots, he unexpectedly spotted a green light in the depths of the amusent park!

"White is our Red Alert Units, blue is survivors, red is zombies, purple is Mutant Beasts, and this green... it’s a supply box!"

Ye Fan’s eyes lit up imdiately.

The first ti he opened a supply box, he got a mining vehicle, and that was when the apocalypse had just begun; in all the days since, he hadn’t seen a second box.

Who would’ve thought that one would refresh here in Yida City?

"Commander, supply box detected, refresh ti 48 hours. Please rember to collect it!"

Ye Fan nodded, hurriedly enlarging the map to confirm the supply box’s location.

The location was confird, at the Ferris wheel in Yida City!

The direct distance was 1.2 kiloters!

"Let’s go, get the supply box!"

Ye Fan eagerly prepared to set off, but Xiaotian let out a low growl from his throat.
