Sliding down from the top of the helicopter, the special forces fastened ropes around their waists and descended directly to the rooftop, breaking in through the windows.

The indoor lighting was dim, and the air was thick.

After landing, so zombies in the mall howled as they approached.

But Ye Fan quickly realized there was a problem.

The zombies inside the mall were unusually few, mostly congregating in two corners.

Regular zombies posed no threat to these elite soldiers, who quickly cleared them with successive point-target shootings.

Following the direction the thief ntioned for the gold store, Ye Fan’s heart sank as they approached.

The gold store had already been turned upside down!

All the gold and silver jewelry had been swept away, leaving nothing behind.

"Soone actually ca here before us?"

The thief, fearing Ye Fan would take his anger out on him, quickly said, "Boss, I didn’t know this place had already been ransacked. It’s my first ti here too."

"Do you know who might have been here?"

"I guess it’s either the Heavy Truck Army or one of the top two Adventurer Squads, because only those two squads have helicopters."

Ye Fan imdiately thought of the propaganda video he had seen, where Zhao Xiaoman of Dark Night Rose also perford an air drop operation.

Since the Heavy Truck Corps used gold as currency, it wasn’t surprising that the gold store had been looted.

In fact, when Ye Fan saw the zombies in the corner, he knew soone had already been here, deliberately luring zombies to the corners to make collecting easier.

Letting out a light sigh, Ye Fan waved his hand: "Let’s go, try another place."

They climbed back the way they ca, returned to the helicopter, and moved to the next gold store location.

After visiting three places, Ye Fan still couldn’t find a gold store that hadn’t been visited.

All those located on rooftops had been thoroughly ransacked.

Those in storefronts on the streets might not have been visited, but reaching them wasn’t easy for Ye Fan.

Feeling frustrated by the lack of findings, Ye Fan said sowhat gloomily, "Looks like we can’t find a complete gold store here, and this guy’s no longer of use....."

The thief, terrified, pleaded, "Boss, boss, there definitely is! I know of one located on a middle floor of a mall, no one’s definitely been there."

"Let’s check it out; if there is one, you can keep your life."

The combat helicopter continued forward, reaching a mall about a dozen stories high.

According to the thief, the gold store was on the fifth floor, a difficult place to enter, and entry from the rooftop wasn’t feasible.

The combat helicopter hovered mid-air on the street.

The mounted machine gun was set up, firing at the mall’s glass windows.

Amidst sparks, the fifth floor’s glass shattered!

So zombies peeked out from inside, howling at the helicopter from a distance.

Unable to hold back, so zombies jumped from the fifth-floor windows, lunging at the helicopter.

Unable to reach the helicopter, they fell directly from above, many dying instantly, others half-dead, crawling on the ground.

The mounted machine gun fired again, smashing the zombies that hadn’t co out yet.

Seeing that most zombies at the windows had been taken care of, the special forces soldiers took out ropes, tossing them inside.

Grabbing the windowsill with hooks, they used ropes to enter the building!

As a Level 2 Evolver, even though Ye Fan hadn’t practiced rope climbing, the ten-ter distance was easy for him. With a running start, he leaped eight or nine ters, clinging to the window, and flipped inside.

Once inside, Ye Fan knew they had succeeded.

Nobody had been here yet!

Overjoyed, he personally joined the troops in exterminating the zombies; today, he was about to experience the charm of the Golden City Jewelry Store.

In the Heavy Truck Corps, Shen Ruihui had already displayed all the goods.

Then he leaned back, waiting for custors to arrive.

Soon, several unsteady figures sauntered over.

With cigarettes in their mouths, they eyed Shen Ruihui askew.

Their clothes had distinctive features, embroidered with large patches of dark clouds, exuding a sense of oppression as they approached together.

Nearby, so curious people intended to check out the goods but retreated upon seeing these figures.

"Are you from the Dawn Squad?"

Shen Ruihui nodded: "Yes, do you want to buy sothing?"

"We’re from Half Sky Cloud, and our Boss Jiang wants to talk to your boss. Where is he?"

"He’s out."

"Notify him to co back imdiately; our boss is waiting."

"Well, let your boss wait then. Our boss is out handling important things."

Imdiately, the faces of the few figures changed.

"You kid, you probably don’t know what we from Half Sky Cloud an around here in the Heavy Truck Army’s territory, do you?"

Seeing their attitude, Shen Ruihui’s eyes widened instantly: "What Half Sky Cloud, Full Sky Cloud? Have you seen our clothes’ insignia? Every cloud will be pierced by our Dawn; get lost, don’t hinder from selling stuff."

"Heh! This is really sothing rare."

The group from Half Sky Cloud laughed in anger.

Half Sky Cloud is known as the top villainous force in the Heavy Truck Corps, and they’ve never been looked down upon like this.

Usually, people are afraid to even breathe in their presence, yet today they t soone who isn’t afraid at all.

However, they were also wary of starting a fight here because, after all, this is within the base.

The base doesn’t care about scuffles outside, but if there’s trouble inside, it will definitely attract the guard forces.

Unless this Dawn Squad makes the first move, then retaliating won’t be a problem.

One of the guys in front of them rolled his eyes, "You arrogant kid, don’t be too cocky. Let say it again, hurry up and get your boss back. Our Boss Jiang has business with him, and if it works out, I guarantee you’ll never worry about food and drink here again. You’ll have unlimited stead buns."

Shen Ruihui smirked disdainfully, "Frog in a well! When I was feeding my boss’s pets, I needed over ten thousand stead buns per al, twice a day, ten hours per feeding. Can you even comprehend that?"

When Shen Ruihui said this, he was deeply contemptuous of these people.

These country bumpkins might not have seen as many buns in their lifeti as he had tossed into the air, and they dare to talk about buns in front of him.

The few people across were fuming, feeling dizzy. This kid doesn’t speak like a normal person.

Even if your boss’s pet is an elephant, it wouldn’t eat over ten thousand stead buns in one al, would it?

Fine, let’s drop it.

The group simply spread out and stood in front of the Dawn Squad’s stall.

Whenever soone approached to buy sothing, they would glare, scaring off potential custors.

Initially, Shen Ruihui waited for them to leave, but seeing as they remained and that not a single item was being sold, he beca anxious.

The officer had entrusted him with this crucial task of selling goods, and if it went south, he wouldn’t know how to explain it to his officer.

If he couldn’t handle a few small punks, he wouldn’t deserve the title of hero-level scout.

Shen Ruihui approached one of the n from behind and grabbed his clothes, "Why aren’t you getting lost?"

Being grabbed by Shen Ruihui, the man’s face imdiately lit up with glee.

If Shen Ruihui made the first move, they could take the chance to teach this kid a lesson.

"Let go of , does it matter to you if we stand here... Ah!"

Before he finished speaking, Shen Ruihui flung him out.

He flew seven to eight ters, rolling like a ball.

He didn’t have as many tricks up his sleeve as his superiors; when dealing with such matters, he typically resolved them directly through force.

When the other n saw Shen Ruihui take action, they imdiately shouted out.

"The Dawn Squad are hitting people! They dared to hit soone from Half Sky Cloud!"

"Too bold, let’s teach him a lesson!"

The outcry drew a lot of attention, and the group charged forward!

Since Shen Ruihui had already acted, he wasn’t about to be polite, striking swiftly.

The basic grappling and combat techniques from the military, in the hands of a hero-level scout, were absolute skills.

With a few crunches! Shen Ruihui dislocated the shoulders of the few who ca at him.

Their arms hung limply, rolling on the ground in pain.

"Help! Murder!"

"The Dawn Squad is too fierce, doing this to a few young n in broad daylight! Isn’t anyone going to do sothing?"

The screams attracted a lot of people, who gathered around pointing and whispering.

Usually, it’s the Half Sky Cloud bullying others, but today they were bullied by an outsider, which was rare indeed.

After dealing with them, Shen Ruihui realized there might be a problem.

But he wasn’t sure how to resolve it; should he kill these people? Or ignore them and continue selling goods?

Without a better idea, he could only wait and see.

Soon, running footsteps were heard from outside.

"Beep beep~~~!"

The whistle blew, and soone shouted loudly, "Make way, make way! The Guard Team is here."

The Guard Team is from the Heavy Truck Corps; they’re responsible for maintaining order in the base, similar to the police of the past.

Hearing that the Guard Team arrived, the onlookers dispersed quickly, leaving only Shen Ruihui and the several Half Sky Cloud n rolling in pain.

A dozen uniford n ca running, imdiately tense upon seeing the situation, and pulled out their guns, shouting at Shen Ruihui, "Don’t move! Drop your weapon! Or we’ll shoot!"

Teams are allowed to carry weapons in the base, even among the Half Sky Cloud n, one had a pistol.

But when faced with Shen Ruihui, he had no chance to draw his gun before being taken down.

Shen Ruihui also carried his gun, both his silenced submachine gun and pistol.

Facing the Guard Team’s guns for the first ti, Shen Ruihui hesitated whether he should start shooting imdiately.

After all, they weren’t here to cause trouble; the officer ca for the profit.

Even if things were to break down, it shouldn’t be now.

As he hesitated, the Guard Team opened fire on him!
