Chapter 2584: Return of the Xeons?

In the lonely starry sky, the Space-Ti City drifted.
Disciples from the Eternal Shrine, including Gongsun Changjue, all looked pale, because right then six Supre Beings stood before them.
They were not from the Eternal Shrine. They were from the Earth Palace, led by Di Yuan Supre Being.
These people wanted to take the Space-Ti City, whereas they themselves were weak and unable to defend.
Fortunately, even these people from the Earth Palace could not take down the Space-Ti City.
“Father, what now?” Tuoba Qingyun said expressionlessly, as he locked his eyes on the Ti Gate and the Space Gate. Both portals were constantly shaking, which was fairly odd.
“Father, what’s going on?” Di Zang Supre Being asked, frowning. They had tried various thods, but they still could not take the Space-Ti City.
Even if they managed to fully occupy this hundred thousand miles of space, they still could not take the Space-Ti City.
“Not sure!” Di Yuan Supre Being shook head as a hint of worry crossed his face.
Because Space-Ti City would only shake when there were people returning to the Wasteland from the far end of ti and space.
Yet, when that happened, the Space-Ti City would only tremble slightly, and not vibrate like this. The movent was too unusual.
Other than people returning, there did not seem to be any other reasons for the Space-Ti City to tremble like that.
So, Di Yuan Supre Being worried that there really were people returning from the other end.
And these people surely had to be Xeons of the Wasteland, but whoever they were remained unknown.
They could be the Archean Xeons like the Chaos God Emperor or the?Ancient Demon Elder, or the Xeons who ca after them.
“Father, are you guessing that the Xeons have returned?” Di Zang Supre Being saw the worry on his father’s face and asked uncertainly. He thought about that too.
“That’s probably it!” Di Yuan Supre Being sighed.
“Then what do we do?” Tuoba Qingyun frowned tightly. The other three strong fighters of the Earth Palace did the sa.
This would an a huge crisis was up ahead. After all, if the Xeons truly returned, it was possibly they would help either Di Yihun or Su Mo.
And that could spell the end of things.
“Let’s hide first and see how this unfolds!” Di Yuan Supre Being sighed as he transmitted his thoughts to the others. Perhaps the other forces had gotten wind of this news and were on their way.
“Right!” the rest nodded and scattered. They fled the Space-Ti City and hid in the depths of the void.
A group of strong fighters from the Eternal Shrine saw them leave and began to fret as well, because they had overheard Di Yuan Supre Being’s speech.
“Brother Changjue, that couldn’t be true, could it?” Gongsun Jia sounded surprised as he asked Gongsun Changjue.
The Xeons of the Wasteland had left the Wasteland one after another, each about several hundred thousand years ago. Perhaps one would return every million years but, for now, none had co back in several millions years.
There were rumors that so of these Xeons who had left had t their downfall, while so others had lost themselves in the ends of space and ti and could not find their way back.
But no one knew the exact reason.
“How’d I know?” Gongsun Changjue shrugged. He was just a young martial artist. He might have heard so secrets, but not the full story.
“I hope soone cos back, and find the way to other worlds!” Gongsun Jia sighed. This was the dream of all advanced martial artists. Only by leaving the Wasteland could they transcend the era, and not perish along with the Wasteland’s destruction.
“If the path leading to the Primitive Continent is found, that would be the best!” Gongsun Changjue looked optimistic.
“The Primitive Continent!” Gongsun Jia was reverent at the phrase. As the descendant of the Eternal Shrine Master, of course he knew what the Primitive Continent ant.
According to rumors, that place was the origin of everything, where the three thousand worlds co from.
But those were just rumors. Even his grandfather was not certain if that was true, or how this information ca about.
“Let’s wait! Since there are changes in this Space-Ti City, there must an outco!” Gongsun Changjue looked hopefully at the two portals shaking ever more violently.
“Right!” Gongsun Jia nodded.
Ti passed. Over ti, the shaking of the two portals beca more intense.
Rumble!!!
Right then, the starry sky roared in the distance. The void exploded, and two figures shattered the starry sky like farrs plowing the field as they moved at a horrifying speed.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
In the blink of an eye, the two figures arrived at the Ti-Space City. They were Gu Sha Demon Emperor and the Immortal Emperor.
“Haha, it truly is the Space-Ti City!” Gu Sha Demon Emperor guffawed. His figure had beco the size of a normal person.
“If that’s the case, let’s collect it quickly!” the Immortal Emperor grinned, not bothering about Gongsun Changjue and the others a distance away. He stretched a hand out to capture it.
The mbers of the Eternal Shrine, including Gongsun Changjue, snickered. So it seed these two Emperors wanted the Space-Ti City for themselves. What a sha!
The Immortal Emperor’s arm transford into a giant hand hundreds of feet in size and reached to grab hold of the Space-Ti City.
But sothing weird happened. The giant hand swiped at the Space-Ti City, but it could not grab anything.
It was as though the City was an illusion and had never existed.
“Eh?” the Immortal Emperor looked on in bewildernt, failing to compute.
Gu Sha Immortal Emperor was stunned as well. His furrowed brows tightened.
“Why’s it shaking like this?” the Immortal Emperor withdrew his hand and asked quizzically.
“In the past, the Space-Ti City would only tremble slightly when Xeons approached. Now it is shaking violently, could the Xeons have co back?” the other speculated.
“What?” the Immortal Emperor paled as he considered the possibility.
Then, the two exchanged glances and recognized their mutual complications.
They were hoping the Xeons could return, but also worried about what could co. It was awfully contradicting.
The Xeons of the Wasteland had left one after another. There had long been an agreent acknowledged by all Tribes, that whoever found a way out would give the entire Wasteland a chance.
So, the two Emperors were hoping the Xeons would co back with solutions.
But, if the Xeons did not have one, and if they happened to belong to the Chaotic Tribe or the Dragon Tribe, that would not be good.
Those Xeons might not hurt them, but they might help Su Mo.
And if Su Mo got even stronger, he would not forgive them.
That was why they looked forward to the Xeons’ return from the end of Space and Ti, but worried very much about it too.
“Let’s wait. What will co will co. We can’t change a thing!”
A mont later, Gu Sha Demon Emperor sat in the space with his legs crossed as he waited patiently.
The Space-Ti City was an Arcana left behind by the Space-Ti Sovereign. It could be considered the First Arcana of the Wasteland with its unknown mysteries. They could not control it, so they could only wait in silence.
They did not have to wait long when, from at the end of the sky, four shadows ca forward. They were the Chaotic Lord, Su Mo, and two others.
“So you’ve co!” Gu Sha Demon Emperor and the Immortal Emperor paled as they gazed intently at the four newcors.
The Chaotic Lord ignored Gu Sha Demon Emperor. With Su Mo, the Ultimate Supre Being, and Ren De Palace Master in tow, they stopped a short distance away and observed the Space-Ti City.
“This is...?” the Chaotic Lord’s eyes flickered as he noticed the violent shaking of the two Portals.
“Lord, the Xeons might be returning. Let’s stop for a while and see what happens!” Gu Sha Demon Emperor said to him.
“Right!” the Chaotic Lord nodded. He speculated that the Xeons could be back, although this was vastly different from before.
In that case, they would cease their battle.
“The Xeons returning?” Su Mo looked stunned. He had never expected this could happen.
If that Xeon happened to be the Ancient Demon Elder, the Immortal Sovereign, or even the Netherworld Sovereign, then he might as well be dood!
