As they went in, they entered a hall right in the middle of the palace and without even finding a place to sit down for a talk, Ling Chang wasted no ti in making clear her intentions for his visit.
“Zi Xiao, there’s sothing that I need your help with!” Ling Chang said in a deep tone.
“What is it that has made you co down all the way here personally?” Zi Xiao smiled and walked to Ling Chang with a curious expression in his eyes.

Su Mo took the cue, and with a ntal thought, Qian Xunyue’s coffin appeared in the middle of the hall.
“Zi Xiao, please help revive her!” Ling Chang requested in a low voice as she looked at Qian Xun Yue in the coffin.
Zi Xiao approached the coffin and carefully looked at Qian Xunyue without opening the coffin. Qian Xunyue’s beauty surprised him but Zi Xiao shook his head.
“Ling Chang, I can’t save her!” Supre Being Zi Xiao said.
Upon hearing that, both Su Mo and Ling Chang’s faces fell. Was there really no way to revive her?

“There’s too much to sacrifice in order to revive her!” he said, shaking his head again.
Ling Chang stayed silent, internalising his words. So Qian Xunyue could be saved, but the price to pay was high.
