I dodged and weaved through various lackeys, keeping either an incredibly close distance to one fist so they couldn't generate any power or an incredibly far distance just so they couldn't land a hit on .

And as soon as I slipped out of the crowd, completely exhausted, their boss pushed his way through before cracking his knuckles and smiling. My uninjured self, with maybe only a few scratches, stood up straight while my smile faded into a cold expression.

"YOU WANNA GO! LET'S FUCKING GO! STOP RUNNING AWAY AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN, YOU STUPID PUNK!"

"You got at least a hundred n behind you… what makes this fighting like a man?"

And then, on that day, a massive stain of blood stretched across the turf residing on that skyscraper rooftop.

"D-DEMON! DEMON! GET AWAY FROM , DEMON! GET AWAY FROM ! PLEASE! HELP ! GUARDS! HELP!"

BAM… BAM… BAM… BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM

For what seed to be the first ti in years, the entire courtyard was silent. Anybody who dared to look at the pile of unconscious bodies beneath the boy's feet was t by two cold eyes that held daggers behind them. Just looking at them felt as if those daggers, covered up by two pools of dark-blue water, would stab into them. No rcy. No pity. Nothing but pain and hellish torture even the god of death would have trouble rivaling.

All of this chaos and destruction was created by one single boy. One single boy who had so much anger built up that he was able to take on an army of inmates. They may have been limited to their base stats and skill, but that made this feat even more impressive.

One by one, the boy took down a man triple his size. So of the fists flying at him were nearly as big as his head, yet sohow, soway, he dodged them perfectly, flowing in between each attack like a river current. It was almost beautiful the way he danced between each fist and foot, punch and kick.

"H-HELP! I PAID YOU, BASTARDS! WHY WON'T YOU HELP ?! PLEASE! FUCKING HELP-"

BAM

The boy landed one final blow on the man whose blond hair pooled behind his head. As he lay on his back, head planted against the blood-stained turf, his eyes seed to fade of all life. I an, he had a crater in his face, so of course, that brain of his wasn't going to turn out perfect in the end… especially against this boy.

Standing at the entrance to the rooftop courtyard were at least fifty guards. They stood there, motionless, frightened by the thought of even attempting to walk up to the boy. Even though his powers had been sealed… even though his wrists were chained back together as the stones connected once more… even though it was just a kid… they still stood there, unable to move.

Standing at the outer border of the courtyard, where a thin and frail tal fence didn't even attempt to prevent any suicides, was a ring of inmates. The ones who were followers of the blond-haired inmate. The ones who were the lucky few who didn't provoke the boy.

They all watched. Guards and inmates. They watched carefully. And as the boy stepped down from the pile of unconscious n, lying down the only inmate the boy had murdered with his own fists, everybody took a step back. Each ti he would step forward towards the exit, everybody would take a step back.

"F-FREEZE!" A guard shouted, pointing a taser at the boy who just coldly gazed back at him. He glanced down from the taser and to his knuckles which had gone through so much beating and bruising that the skin had torn off. Not only was the thin layer of muscle gone, but shards of the bones within his hands were piercing out of his fists.

"Can you get a healer? I don't want my friends to see like this…"

But nobody looked at those horrifying hands of his. They were utterly brutalized to the point where most would consider amputation. An infection was inevitable, and the pain must have been excruciating, yet the boy didn't even peep a sound of pain… but still, nobody dared to gawk in awe at his pain tolerance. But still, nobody dared to even glance at them.

His body. It was covered from head to toe with blood. Sticky, red, thick, and tal-stinking blood. It was like a glue of life dried onto his skin, moistening his ocean-blue hair. He had beco sothing almost inhumane as he walked across the still blood-stained turf.

"*sigh*... you know… blood is a good neutralizer for this stone. You weakened it by making it magnetic… You see when they co together, the power weakened… or they're just weaker in general," The boy explained, and as a few guards slowly approached him, he easily shook off his handcuffs. "Blood may not be magnetic, but deoxygenated blood is… even by a slight amount."

Suddenly, the boy turned from the exit and towards the edge of the building. Various guards began to gather around him while the inmates who were in his way imdiately parted ways, allowing him access to the edge of the building.

The cyberpunk city. It was beautiful. It shimred on his face, painted red with blood. It was like a glistening aura that enveloped him as the boy turned back to see the guards. They stopped, staying cautious of the one whose cold expression tilted into ever so light smirk.

"Also… aether isn't in the bounds of the stone's suppression."

He jumped. He fell backward like a swan diving into a pond. The guards reached towards him, only to see his body plumt further and further into the city lights. But, they shouldn't have been worried about him as behind them, a white light shimred, and with the final words of the boy whose eyes glowed a dim gold… everything exploded.

"[Aether Explosion]."

(Elora POV)

I felt nervous for so reason. As the air in the courtroom tensed beyond human comprehension, a guard ca out, revealing the reason as to why the trial hadn't started yet.

Everybody was impatient, so nervous, so excited to report this to their bosses. We had waited, and waited, and waited for that one person to co… but after what seed to be hours, we finally got a report as to what was happening.

Normally, this wouldn't happen. They wouldn't give so much information, but due to the fact that such a large and powerful family was here to oversee the murderer of one of their mbers, they were forced to. If they didn't imdiately, the entire courthouse might have gone up in flas.

"*sigh*... We would all like to apologize to everybody that has co here today for the hearing, but we have received the unfortunate news that the child who has been put on trial… has gone missing and has been presud dead." Read latest stories on empire

My heart dropped as I heard those words. Wolf, Panther, and Snake, all beside , had the sa reaction. Our eyes widened, our jaws slightly opened, and our hands began to shake as we heard those shocking words.

Quickly, there was an outburst from the representatives of the Crestsplitter family, but the present guards who were ant to take the boy to the stand held them back. Of course, the representatives couldn't do much here, but once they leave, of course, they can bring their family mbers back.

"If you want… I can take you all to where he is…." A voice called out to and the rest of the daggers. And upon turning my head, I noticed a small innocent girl with white hair. She looked a bit nervous as she gestured for us to follow her.

"Are you Petra…?"

"Y-Yes," She stuttered, nervously blushing as we began to follow her out of the courtroom. She may have been only a few years younger, but she was just so adorable that I couldn't help but scoop her up into my arms and squeeze those adorable cheeks of hers. "P-Please stop…"

"Oh, I'm sorry… you're just too cute," I smiled, setting her down on the ground and then following her out of the courtroom. We went even further, walking down the streets until we reached the very edge of the city where a decently-sized slum had been built up.

We walked and walked and walked so more until we reached a small green hill with a small cottage house at the very top. It was probably the only decent-looking place in these slums, and upon reaching the front door, a woman with long brown hair and entrancing hazel eyes greeted us.

"Co in. You must be his friends…."
