"I can et the Eldar and Ynnari with you—I'm old friends with them!
But I think we should keep your pregnancy secret from them," Rhodes said, stroking his chin.
He didn't mind eting all the Eldar with Isha—after all, it made him look good.
Among the Eldar, especially the Ynnari, pride ran deep; they looked down on humanity, regarding them as wild monkeys.
Now, a wild monkey had beco a god they couldn't even hope to reach, and seduced their goddess of life. How could they not be furious?
Rhodes' rumored affair with Yvraine had already angered many Ynnari warriors.
"No problem. My identity does need to be kept secret—you wouldn't want Slaanesh or Nurgle coming after you, would you?" Isha said.
"That freak Slaanesh can't touch now. Of the Chaos Four, they're the most disgusting," Rhodes replied.
"Oh? When did you get strong enough to take on Slaanesh?" Isha smiled.
"In the Warp, I wouldn't dare provoke Slaanesh. But in realspace, standing here, what can Slaanesh do to ?" Rhodes said.
The Chaos powers are beings of the Warp—they can't manifest directly in realspace.
Looking at the Chaos gods from above Holy Terra, Rhodes saw their true power. In realspace, they truly couldn't intervene much.
Their only tools were corruption, sches, or sending Greater Daemons and Daemon Princes.
"You really are brave. Maybe soday you'll rescue my youngest sister," Isha said.
"Your sister? You have a sister? I thought you were the only surviving female among the Eldar gods?" Rhodes asked, surprised.
"It's complicated. My sister governs all beauty and love in the universe—love for one's beloved, family, race, children, and even for one's craft.
During the Pantheon's catastrophe, she wasn't devoured entirely by Slaanesh, but was imprisoned," Isha said.
"How co I've never heard of this? She's never appeared in Eldar history!" Rhodes mused.
But being imprisoned by Slaanesh—that was tragic.
In GW's canon, there shouldn't be such a goddess among the Eldar.
"And where did you learn your Eldar lore?" Isha asked. She knew Rhodes was well-inford, but mostly on the surface. She'd even tested him and found much of his knowledge was misinformation the Eldar had deliberately spread.
For example, the truth of her origin!
"Commorragh was once the jewel of the Eldar Empire. I lived there for half a year and collected so lore on the Eldar gods. That's how I learned about you," Rhodes lied with a straight face.
"Nothing there is truly authoritative. My own account is better. My sister was shattered like Khaine by Slaanesh, but I kept so fragnts safe.
You know why Slaanesh wants so badly? Because I hold my sister's fragnts—besides devouring , Slaanesh wants to eat her, too, to beco stronger," Isha said.
"So, Isha, will you share Eldar secrets with ?" Rhodes asked.
"We Eldar gods have many secrets. If you want to know, I can tell you everything in the future, including hidden events," Isha said.
"Good, tell when you have ti. I'm quite curious about you gods.
Soon, you should release Lelith's soul—she and Yvraine are close, and I want them to et," Rhodes said.
"No problem! But I want to see my children first," Isha said.
Rhodes nodded, and the two went to the reception room. Isha changed clothes and secretly swapped her soul with the goddess from the Warp.
Isha herself didn't care much for the Eldar, but the goddess wanted to see her children, so the two switched souls in secret.
Soon, an Eldar ship landed on the flagship.
…
Yvraine, the Ynnari's High Prophet, arrived with her Red Armored Warriors, a few Harlequins, and several Farseers.
At this mont, Isha radiated a vibrant green life aura, appearing holy and smiling warmly at her children.
The mont the Eldar saw the green figure beside Rhodes, they were overwheld—they felt their mother's presence, imnse life energy, soul-deep excitent, and the bond of blood.
"Goddess of Life! After ten thousand years, your children can finally see you again," Farseer Eldrad said, kneeling in excitent.
He was the oldest Eldar and one of the most powerful Farseers.
During the 13th Black Crusade, he tried to summon the Death God but was stopped by the Deathwatch. Still, it allowed the Death God's soul to walk in realspace.
He also helped build the Ynnari, aiding them to claim the five Crone Swords.
"My children, after ten thousand years, I'm truly glad to see you again, to know you still live in this cruel galaxy," Isha said, moved.
She doted on the Eldar. Back when she suggested the sacrificial plan, she'd feared her children would not survive the galaxy. Reality proved they were more resilient than she'd thought.
"Welco, great Mother. We invite you to settle in the Maiden World."
"Sorry, my children. I can't go to the Maiden World now—two Chaos gods are watching , so I must stay here," Isha said.
If she went to the Maiden World, who would nurture her child? The child needed Isha's divine power and life energy.
"Great Mother, we regret we cannot save you. But believe us:
One day, your children will awaken the Eldar Death God and kill Slaanesh, our great enemy," a Farseer said.
"Rhodes! I never expected you'd grow so strong and even save our Goddess of Life," Yvraine said, looking at Rhodes in admiration.
Compared to six months ago, Rhodes was far stronger, especially his soul—a vast ocean. He'd truly reached the level of a god.
Lelith was also fortunate—a Dark Eldar Succubus chosen as the Mother Goddess's vessel, bearing divine power, the greatest honor.
"My children, I summoned you here with a task. I've allied with the Imperium.
This Primarch has promised to help resurrect Khaine. Now, I need you to collect all Khaine's fragnts so I can revive him," Isha said.
"Great Mother, what did you say? You an Khaine can be resurrected?" Eldrad asked, shocked.
He didn't like Khaine—Khaine once tried to destroy the entire Eldar race.
"But our real enemy now is Chaos. Khaine's power is essential. Set aside old grudges and gather his fragnts—this is my divine command," Isha said.
"If it's your will, we obey. We'll collect all Khaine fragnts from the Craftworlds," the Eldar agreed.
…
As Rhodes t with the Eldar, there was a surge of warp energy on Fenris.
A Chaos Space Marine, staff in hand, tore open a rift, bringing a group of Chaos Marines marked with special red runes.
"Yvraine, you must pay the price."
