The Wood Elves act in secrecy and remain completely isolated, residing in the large forest of Aisloron in the southern part of Brittania. Although they have signed an alliance with Brittania, it is rely a loose agreent of mutual recognition and aid.

The Wood Elves trade with the knights, but after being deceived countless tis over the years by "deceptive" and "despicable" humans, they have wised up. They only trade with lords who are Holy Grail Knights.

In other words, they only trust Holy Grail Knights.

Regardless, these matters will have to wait until Laine returns from his expedition: "Let's not talk about this now, Oliver, I need you to help

procure so grain."

"That's easy, my Baron," Oliver replied seriously. "I have already established trade relations with rchants from Winford and Boldro. As long as the quantity is not too large, I can obtain it."

"Excellent!" With the worry off his mind, Laine felt a weight lifted from his heart.

Next, the Baron summoned Hadrian, a wealthy rchant from the Southern Realm, who was setting up many workshops along the river. His progress was the slowest, as most of the workers were busy constructing castles and cultivating farmland. He also needed many tools and equipnt shipped from Marinburg. Laine needed to be patient.

"Please arrange it as quickly as possible, Mr. Hadrian," Laine said softly. As ti serving as lord went on, the Holy Grail Knight's authority grew.

"Yes, Lord Laine."

The following ti was spent dealing with governntal affairs and patrolling the territory. Laine often took ti to visit his brother to "spar," from which Angerong was willing to teach his younger brother. Over a period, Laine gained a lot and could feel that his strength, already at Legendary Middle-tier, was on the verge of breaking through again.

......

The ti ca to early August, the scorching season of burning heat. Under the midsumr sky, the blazing sun scorched the earth,

and the army was ready to march.

This ti, the army participating in the Knightly War was composed of Laine, Hex, Oliver, three Knights, five Knight's Squires, and fifty-three infantryn. Given the small number of soldiers, Laine did not recruit or accommodate camp followers.

Laine wore Grey Knight's Spiritual Masterwork Power Armor, wielded the Griffin Warhamr, with the Holy Grail Knight Badge hanging on his chest. Riding on the Pure-blooded Elf Warhorse Grapes, he shouted to his soldiers: "Are you ready, my soldiers?"

"My Baron! We are ready!" After a month of training, the infantryn before him sowhat had the appearance of an army. At the very least, they knew how to stand in formation awaiting orders.

More could only be honed through the baptism of blood and fire.

"Set out!" The town gates opened, and the newly appointed Baron led his army out of the town, heading towards the Valerim Camp near the Arden Forest.

On the city walls, the Dark Elf Ollica watched as Laine led his army away.

"Master..." A silver pendant hung on Ollica's ample chest, sothing Laine had specially taken the ti to craft for her protection.

Clasping the necklace tightly, Ollica pressed the pendant to her heart.

"Master..."

"Master?" A dazzling white light appeared behind her, and as the Dark Elf instinctively turned around, a white jade-like hand touched her forehead.

Ollica struggled in vain for a mont before her body softened. Faced with the intruder's formidable strength, she had no ability to resist and could only struggle to say: "Lake… Lady of the Lake?"

"Ollica, Ollica Korundia?" The Lake Fairy's face bore a faint smile, yet it was indescribably dangerous.

"You did recognize ! Lilith!"
