The glaring sunlight stread in through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, causing Gu Yan to frown slightly. She slowly opened her eyes, but because she couldn’t adapt to the light for a mont, she closed them again and waited for a while before opening them again.
What she saw was a room that was both unfamiliar and familiar.
Unfamiliar because this wasn’t the place she woke up in every day.
And familiar because she had personally cleaned this place for almost a month!
Tang Yuxiu’s apartnt?
How did she end up here?
She struggled to recall last night’s events.
At Shengshi, Gu Qin and President Liu tead up to drug her, and Mrs. Gu wanted to sell her to President Liu for a million. She resisted and stabbed President Liu with a wine bottle before escaping the private room.
Later, she encountered Tang Yuxiu in the hallway, and then he helped her out. After that...
Gu Yan’s mory wasn’t very clear, only bits and pieces of when the effects of the drug kicked in. Her whole body was burning with desire, and then... then she started kissing and touching a man.
And that man, without even thinking, must have been Tang Yuxiu!
After they returned to this apartnt, her rationality kicked in, and she resolutely rejected Tang Yuxiu before running to the bathroom to imrse in cold water to alleviate the drug’s effects.
Fortunately, it was just an ordinary drug; soaking in cold water could soothe it. Otherwise, she would really be too ashad to face anyone right now!
Tang Yuxiu’s cleanliness obsession was so severe that if she had let him be the redy, she’d feel guilty about it herself.
She couldn’t rember what happened afterward; she must have been too exhausted and fell asleep in the bathtub.

And at that mont, the door to the master bedroom was pushed open; a man in a black suit, ticulously grood and spotless, stood there holding a bag.
Tang Yuxiu paused for a mont upon seeing the woman on the bed.
Gu Yan blinked slowly, then ca to her senses suddenly, hurriedly grabbing the quilt to wrap herself tightly, not even revealing her head.
Tang Yuxiu ca to his senses as well and, seeing her such an exaggerated reaction, laughed sarcastically, "Where on your body have I not seen or touched before? What modesty are you pretending now?"
Under the quilt, Gu Yan’s face was burning red, feeling like she was about to burst into flas.
She didn’t dare to reply or move, just stifling herself like that, and soon a thin layer of sweat appeared on her body.
The sound of Tang Yuxiu’s footsteps approached, and Gu Yan didn’t dare to breathe audibly.
Sothing dropped on the quilt, and then she heard the steady steps of the man walking away, followed by the sound of the door closing.
It took Gu Yan a while to dare to peek her head out from the quilt. Her eyes quickly darted around the room, and only when she saw no sign of Tang Yuxiu did she sigh in relief.
Then she noticed the bag on the bed. Curious, she reached out to grab it and found it was a complete set of won’s clothing, including underwear!
Gu Yan’s face, already red as it was, seed now capable of dripping blood.
Her clothes from last night, there was no need to think about it; they must have been thrown away by Tang Yuxiu.
She touched the soft and comfortable fabric and thought, was it him who fished her out of the bathroom and then removed her clothes last night?
But aside from herself and Tang Yuxiu, there really wasn’t anyone else here!
