4213 A Sudden Change in Plan
The Pure Yang Sect’s estate shook fiercely.
Soon enough, the powerhouses of the Pure Yang Sect flew into the sky.
“Who destroyed our sect’s Guarding Formation?”
“My lord, may I ask who you are? Is there enmity between you and our sect?”
“My lord, you’re a Supre Powerhouse. How could our sect have offended you?”
These powerhouses were the leaders of the various factions in the Pure Yang Sect, including Zhen Yun Feng from the Cloud Peak faction. The Sect Leader of the Pure Yang Sect was also present. They were all panicking when they found out a Supre God had destroyed the Pure Yang Sect’s Guarding Formation.
Lu Tian Feng smiled contemptuously as he said, “How dare you call yourself a supre-rank force. I managed to destroy your sect’s Guarding Formation with just one strike. How preposterous!”
As soon as Lu Tian Feng finished speaking, he launched another terrifying attack at the Pure Yang Sect’s estate.

The attack was stronger than the previous one. Clearly, Lu Tian Feng intended to kill all the mbers of the Pure Yang Sect. However, he was stunned by what happened next.
A barrier suddenly appeared, protecting the mbers from Lu Tian Feng’s attack. The barrier shook briefly after deflecting his attack, but it remained intact. This barrier was from the Pure Yang Sect’s Inner Guarding Formation. The Pure Yang Sect’s Guarding Formation consisted of the Outer Formation and the Inner Formation. The Outer Formation only needed a small number of resources to power it and was strong enough to stop those below the realm of a Supre God. On the contrary, the Inner Formation, which was powered by a high number of resources, was naturally stronger and could stop Supre Gods. The Inner Formation could completely stop the attack of a rudintary Supre God without the risk of collapsing, but it could only hold off the attacks of an interdiate Supre God before it weakened. Nonetheless, it could help the Pure Yang Sect stall for ti while it called for reinforcents from Supre Gods they were allied with.
“A double Formation?” Lu Tian Feng said with a scoff. Then, he launched another round of attacks. However, he found that he barely left a scratch on the barrier.
‘Damn it! I didn’t expect that a sect that didn’t even have an advanced Emperor of Gods until recently would have such a powerful Guarding Formation,’ Lu Tian Feng cursed inwardly. It did not make sense to him that such a weak sect actually possessed such a powerful Guarding Formation.

The expressions of the interdiate Emperors of Gods from the Pure Yang Sect, including its sect leader, were dark at this mont.
Previously, Duan Ling Tian had won them many places to enter the Secret Holy Realm during the Seven Mansions Feast. However, the Secret Holy Realm had yet to open, hence, the sect’s interdiate Emperors of Gods still had not been given a chance to beco advanced Emperors of Gods. Nonetheless, despite being interdiate Emperors of Gods, none of them showed cowardice at this mont, and none of them yielded when faced with a formidable opponent. After all, Lu Tian Feng was clearly in the wrong.
“You should ask Duan Ling Tian these questions,” Lu Tian Feng said with a scoff. Then, he began to attack the Guarding Formation again as he said, “It doesn’t matter if you’ve called for reinforcents. I’m going to attack your Guarding Formation and let your sect suffer greatly. This Inner Formation must need a huge number of resources to activate and run, right?”
Lu Tian Feng struck the Formation continuously to vent his anger.
Lu Tian Feng assud that he would be able to easily annihilate the Pure Yang Sect. He really did not expect the Pure Yang Sect’s Guarding Formation would hold up so long. He knew that the Pure Yang Sect must have inford Duan Ling Tian about this matter and called for reinforcents as well.
‘I should’ve gone to the Flying Dragon Sect or the Linghu clan first!’ Lu Tian Feng thought to himself as he gritted his teeth. He truly regretted his choice of coming to the Pure Yang Sect first.
Previously, Lu Tian Feng had investigated Duan Ling Tian thoroughly. As such, he knew that Duan Ling Tian was in the Flying Dragon Sect and the Linghu clan before he joined the Pure Yang Sect. He had chosen the Pure Yang Sect as his first target since Duan Ling Tian had only left the Pure Yang Sect not too long ago. In his opinion, Duan Ling Tian would be sadder if the Pure Yang Sect was annihilated. Who knew that the Pure Yang Sect was no pushover?
Lu Tian Feng found it unbelievable that the Pure Yang Sect, which had fewer than ten Supre Gods since its inception, possessed such a powerful Guarding Formation. Moreover, among the Supre Gods in the Pure Yang Sect, there were no interdiate Supre Gods, let alone an advanced Supre God.

Lu Tian Feng’s expression changed upon hearing Zhen Ping Fan’s words, which exposed his intention of venting his anger on the Pure Yang Sect because he was unable to deal with Duan Ling Tian. His sha and humiliation from Zhen Ping Fan’s words stoked the flas of his anger even more.
“Brat!” Lu Tian Feng glared at Zhen Ping Fan as he attacked the Guarding Formation and said, “How dare you call trash! Do you have the guts to fight ? If you’re able to survive a strike from , I’ll let the Pure Yang Sect go. What do you think? Do you dare?”
A disdainful smile appeared on Lu Tian Feng’s face after he finished speaking.
Zhen Ping Fan ignored Lu Tian Feng. Instead, he turned to his father and the others before he said, “Father, senior brother, I just contacted Duan Ling Tian. This man is Lu Tian Feng, the forr Vice Leader of the Lone Primordial Spirit Congregation. He’s been expelled from the congregation, and the congregation t with Dua Ling Tian recently to make ands. He’s not capable of dealing with Duan Ling Tian so he’s targeting us to get to Duan Ling Tian. He’s nothing but a useless coward. He won’t be able to stay for long. Duan Ling Tian has requested the congregation to capture him. The people from the congregation should be arriving soon.”

anwhile, Yang Yu Chen’s doppelganger, who was hiding in a corner in the Pure Yang Sect, frowned slightly upon hearing Zhen Ping Fan’s words. Duan Ling Tian was stunned. Then, he shook his head and replied, “No, I didn’t. I only told him that the congregation promised to take care of Lu Tian Feng so that he wouldn’t worry.”
“He must have added it on his own to scare Lu Tian Feng away,” Yang Yu Chen said with a sigh, “If Lu Tian Feng is frightened into leaving now, it’ll be difficult for us to kill him.”
“What happened?” Duan Ling Tian frowned slightly.
Yang Yu Chen briefly explained the situation to Duan Ling Tian.

A hint of regret flashed in Zhen Ping Fan’s eyes when he received Duan Ling Tian’s ssage, realizing that he had made a mistake. He also learned that Yang Yu Chen was waiting for the mbers of the Lone Primordial Spirit Congregation to arrive so they could work together to capture Lu Tian Feng. If Lu Tian Feng left before the mbers of the congregation arrived, Yang Yu Chen’s doppelganger alone would not be able to stop Lu Tian Feng from leaving.
“Elder Zhen, you must find a way to make Lu Tian Feng stay! If we don’t kill him this ti, it’ll be difficult to find a chance to kill him in the future.”
After listening to Duan Ling Tian’s ssage, Zhen Ping Fan tried his best to calm down. Then, he quickly acted uneasy and nervous as though he had been lying. However, he soon discovered that Lu Tian Feng seed to be distracted while striking the Guarding Formation. Lu Tian Feng was not paying attention to him at all. He wondered inwardly, ‘Is he really frightened by my words?’
