The persistent feeling that he had t this old man stayed with him even though he could not recall when he had t this old man. Duan Ling Tian was still wondering about the old man’s apparent enmity and familiarity when he heard Zhang Yi cried out in fear, “The Left Guardian!”
The Left Guardian? Realization finally dawned on Duan Ling Tian. He must be Zhang Chu He, the Left Guardian of Celestial Masters Sect!. ‘No wonder he looks familiar. He’s Zhang Yun Fei’s grandfather!’

Zhang Yi told him that Zhang Chu He was an Eight Tribulation Bodiless Celestial whose power could rival the other two Eight Tribulation Bodiless Celestials in the sect. Zhang Chu He’s strength was only second to the strongest person in Celestial Masters Sect, the Free Cloud Sage who was a Nine Tribulation Bodiless Celestial.
After confirming the old man’s identity, Duan Ling Tian looked at him scornfully. He did not fear Zhang Chu He at all. It was only natural since his strength was currently comparable to a Nine Tribulation Bodiless Celestial. Why would he fear a re Eight Tribulation Bodiless Celestial?

Duan Ling Tian sneered. “What does it have to do with you?”
Zhang Chu He was greatly infuriated at being treated in such a deaning manner by an Eminent Celestial. Although Duan Ling Tian’s strength was not inferior to his, he could not help but feel angry. “You arrogant brat!”
“Arrogant?” Duan Ling Tian narrowed his eyes at Zhang Chu He’s words. A cold light flashed in his eyes. “You obstructed our path first. Who do you think is arrogant?”
Zhang Chu He scoffed. “I have no interest in you. My problem lies with Zhang Yi! He colluded with an outsider to murder his own sect mber. I’m here to deliver punishnt on behalf of the Celestial Masters Sect. Do not interfere!”
Duan Ling Tian laughed uproariously when he heard Zhang Chu He’s words as though he had just heard the funniest joke in the world.
“What are you laughing about?” Flas of fury burned in Zhang Chu He’s eyes as though they were capable of burning everything in his sight.
“I find it hilarious that even though you know I killed your grandson, you don’t have the courage to say it out loud. Are you trying to stall for ti and wait for reinforcent so you can gang up on later?” Duan Ling Tian had seen Zhang Chu He subtly sending a signal earlier. He was certain Zhang Chu He knew he was no weaker than an Eight Tribulation Bodiless Celestial. Zhang Chu He was not confident he would be able to defeat him so he had requested for reinforcent.
“Don’t make laugh! Why would I need help to deal with soone like you?” Zhang Chu He flew into a rage out of humiliation since his plan had been exposed. He would not admit to it.
“Oh, is that so?” Duan Ling Tian smiled, it was deceptively friendly. Upon closer inspection, one would be able to see the shadow of contempt hidden in his smile. He said dismissively, “Well, since you’re so eager for revenge, I’ll give you a chance and wait for your reinforcent to arrive. However, let warn you that there’s a limit to my patience. I’ll wait for fifteen minutes. If your reinforcent doesn’t arrive by then, don’t bla for not holding back.” His gaze caused Zhang Chu He’s blood to run cold.
“Impudent!” Zhang Chu He’s expression turned unsightly. He had assud Duan Ling Tian’s strength was only comparable to an Eight Tribulation Bodiless Celestial. He might have a hard ti defeating Duan Ling Tian, but the sa could be said for Duan Ling Tian as well. It would not be easy for Duan Ling Tian to defeat him as well so why was Duan Ling Tian behaving so arrogantly? Did this brat treat him like an ant?
“Left Guardian!” Zhang Yi said anxiously, “Zhang Yun Fei died because he coveted my friend Celestial Supre Treasure. If he were not greedy, my friend wouldn’t have killed him! More importantly, did you summon the Right Guardian as well?” He continued to say in a grave tone, “Please reconsider your decision. He said disdainfully, “Are you implying that even with the help of the Right Guardian, I still won’t be able to deal with this stupid brat? Preposterous! Do you think he’s like Feng Qing Yang who obtained the inheritance from a Great Overarching Golden Celestial?”
