However, Bran was faster and stronger. Within just ten seconds, every one of them ended up dying.

Amid the gazes of roaming players and citizens, twenty Elven soldiers lead by an Elite squad captain of level-300 arrived at the place.

When a person kills an NPC within a safe zone, an arrest will be issued against the perpetrator. Based on the NPC that was killed, usually, punishnt ranges from a simple fine to hours of imprisonnt.
However, not all players would sit quietly and wait for the arrest. Many people run away from the place.
In such a case, the system will give him/her a few warnings before finally adding them to the bounty chart with the reward money.
In such a case, if a wanted criminal gets killed by either an NPC or a player that accepted the bounty quest, then, he will revive at jail or prison. Then, one will only have three choices. Pay the relevant amount of fine or get pardoned by a nobility of higher rank (depends on the cri) or just serve the sentence.
Most of the players who weren't present there didn't know what he did but when they saw his starting bounty was 100 gold coins, they were excited.

"Already?" Shihei was taken aback by surprise as he didn't expect Bran would be so aggressive now. He didn't know what that person suddenly decided to beco a rebel, but he thought he should do sothing about it.
"What should I do? None of my nieces is online. I wish at least Kiyumi or Akiko here. Their personal contacts could have been more useful at this ti."
With Wil disappeared to god knows where Akiko had temporarily returned to the main branch to continue to work with her sisters.
