"Ah! I apologize for my mistake." Kiyumi didn't understand what's going on. She wondered whether this young woman is Wil's elder sister who was married into so Quilton family. That can explain the situation.
Maybe, they were earlier than they thought because in the entrance hall, aside from the four-star General Daniel, Miyazaki Reisa, no one seems to be present, neither the four sisters nor Reisa's brother.
And just like Kiyumi, both of them too thought that Scarlet was either Wil's older sister or stepmother rather than his biological mother until Wil introduced his family to them.
"This is my mother, Scarlet Quilton. This is my younger brother, Rey Quilton, and this beautiful princess over here is my younger sister, Mia Quilton."
Wil's introduction of his family surprised both of the families. The ex-husband and wife were surprised to see this young woman who looked like she's in her early 30s was actually none other than Scarlet for whom the giant security company is built.
They were also surprised to find her surna different. They quickly realized that Wil's mother might have taken divorce. That might be the reason he was reluctant to bring her topic, last ti.
At the sa ti, Scarlet and Mia were also surprised that how Wil introduced Mia, filled with affection. Rey felt a little bit jealous while the mother and daughter pair was sohow happy. Silver was also felt happy on the inside and rembered his old friend and boss, Philip.
As soon as they took their seats, Reisa brought the topic of their fight with Texel, "Williard, I watched the news. How you are holding up?"
Except for Wil and Reisa, everyone looked at Wil. They are wondering what she is talking about.
Ignoring everyone's gazes on him, Wil smiled in response, "It isn't a big deal. My company doesn't lack funds either way. And I won't intend to lose my money either"
Daniel was confused about what these two are talking about. He imdiately asked Reisa about it. The finance minister explained about the case, shocking the two siblings and the General. After all, that's 6 billion dollars.
Scarlet felt it was too pity that of all the people, Storm had to be the one who was duped. With one perpetrator dead and the other is in jail, she felt he must be frustrated.
On other hand, Silver beca angered at his long-ti friend and rival. Since the young master is against unnecessary violence, Storm was prepared to give him a good lecture once this was over. However, rembering where he was, he clenched his fist as tight as he can and forced himself to calm down.
Since Wil seed like he was confident about the case, they didn't intend to talk too much about it.
For a while, Reisa and Daniel talked with Scarlet, enquiring about her new family. Scarlet didn't hide anything and told them the truth.
While Reisa felt nothing strange, Daniel, who had fought battles, got a strange feeling of danger when he looked at Scarlet. He felt like he can't ss with her or else, his head might roll on the head at any minute.
But, then, in the next minute, thinking of how she got kidnapped last ti, Daniel felt he might be ntally exhausted due to a long flight and is having crazy thoughts. In the end, he convinced himself and joined the conversation.
After a while, as the remaining four sisters are coming downstairs together, Silver whispered to Scarlet, "The one from the second left is Ms. Akiko."
Scarlet nodded in response. After all, Silver already sent her the details, a while ago. Although she knew about her, she didn't know anything about the other sisters.
Just like last ti, Wil was indeed stunned by Akiko's beauty for a mont. Yet, he wasn't able to look at her for more than a second after rembering the incident with Luoyang. A sense of guiltiness once again rose in his heart.
After they were being introduced by Reisa, the girls were surprised like their parents. The third youngest Akiko was the first to comnt, "Ms. Quilton, you are really too young. I thought you were Williard's elder sister."
Maybe, unconsciously, she was trying to get in good books with her mother-in-law, or maybe, she was genuine about it. For whatever reason, Akiko complinted Scarlet as soon as she t her.
As for her different surna, she was soone who grew up in a similar family. As long as Wil was close to his mother, it doesn't matter for her.
"So, uh you are in the final year?" Scarlet struck up a conversation with Akiko who was told by her mother to sit in between Scarlet and Wil to get more familiar with her future family as they sat for dinner.
"Yes." Akiko nodded in response.
Scarlet further asked, "How were you faring at the university? I an, in studies." She was just curious to know what kind of person her future daughter-in-law is like.
"I was in the top 10 for the past two years. So, I guess, it's alright?" For others, it might be an achievent. However, for Akiko, she wasn't sure whether it's good as she always aid for the top spot.
"Then, what do you wish to do after your graduation? Any future plans?" Scarlet pressed her further.
"My mother wanted to take over Kiyumi-nee's position at Galaxy Net as one of the directors and I don't have any problem with it. However, before that, I thought of training myself this year. Thankfully, because of War Online, it beca easier" She answered smoothly as usual albeit feeling nervous inside.
Watching them from the corner of his eyes, Wil thought of stopping his mother who seed like she is interrogating Akiko. However, he didn't barge into their conversation as he wasn't in a state to talk to Akiko either.
Thinking of distracting himself, he talked with in-laws instead, bringing out a business topic. "Konami-san, I heard that Star Group acquired a percentage of your company and beca your partner. I wonder if you are busy with the projects"
His unexpected question drew the attention of everyone. Even Scarlet and Akiko stopped talking and glanced at him for once.
