The Bose Alliance and Fermi Alliance, originally in a standoff, ultimately erupted into war.
As communication between the two civilization alliances’ headquarters deteriorated, the declaring civilizations responsible for frontline defenses also began to have verbal conflicts and frictions.
Among them, the Lu’en Civilization was in charge of frontline defenses for the Bose Alliance, while the Jike Civilization was responsible for the Fermi Alliance. Both these declaring civilizations reached Level 4 Civilization status with the technical assistance of their respective alliances. As the crisis of the Universe’s halted expansion erupted, both the Bose and Fermi Civilizations realized they needed stronger and more nurous allies, leading them to sign the Technology Agreent with their partners. This leveraged their technological edge to help their allies attain Level 4 Civilization.
Of course, this was not without a cost. According to the Technology Agreent, henceforth, all scientific research divisions and related work of these declaring civilizations would be transferred to the unified managent of Bose and Fermi Civilizations, to achieve maximum resource utilization and technology distribution. In essence, the Technology Agreent stripped the declaring civilizations of the rights to one hundred and thirty major scientific research projects, forbidding them from establishing their own scientific research divisions.
The reason for this was primarily a safeguard for both the Bose and Fermi Civilizations.
After all, they also worried that if they shared their best technology with their allies, what would happen if the allies grew strong and turned against them?
Thus, they ca up with this brilliant solution. In the past era, it may have been an economy-first world where controlling the economy ant controlling the power of developnt. However, in the age of the Universe, science and technology reign supre. So long as they maintained control over the apex of science and technology, Bose and Fermi Civilizations could always suppress their declaring civilizations scientifically and technologically, ensuring their own absolute leadership position would not be threatened.
Despite being natural-born archenemies, it must be admitted that the Bose and Fermi Civilizations did share common ground in so areas. Although the technical agreents they provided differed in detail, the general intent was similar. Their declaring civilizations, considering that to survive the Cosmic Crisis they had to fully commit to a powerful civilization, along with ongoing ideological indoctrination, eventually led the declaring civilizations to believe in and agree to their terms.

Upon learning of the deteriorated communications between the two headquarters, the Lu’en Civilization, deployed on the front lines, couldn’t help but send a ssage to the opposing Jike Civilization: "Honestly, your Fermi Alliance communications departnt is shalessly brazen to spout such lies!"

As the two declaring civilizations launched attacks on each other, it also slightly revealed the thinking differences between Bose and Fermi Civilizations.
The so-called Bose Sect and Fermi Sect they ntioned actually refer to the alliances led respectively by the Bose and Fermi Civilizations. Each civilization within their alliance camps is utterly convinced of their scientific direction, believing that either bosons or fermions are the sole truth of the Universe’s existence.
It is precisely because of this typical fanatical religious thinking that they were jokingly referred to by the opposing side as the Bose Sect and Fermi Sect.
Universalism and Individualism represent the fundantal worldviews of Bose and Fermi Civilizations, respectively, and they are also the civilizational systems they propose and implent.
If one hopes to thoroughly understand the fundantal reasons for the difference, even opposition, between Bose and Fermi Civilizations’ thinking, one must first know what bosons and fermions are and the fundantal differences between them.
Bosons and fermions were originally terms used to describe basic particles, that is, the smallest indivisible microscopic particles as defined by science are basic particles. Basic particles are divided into two categories based on their properties, and only two categories: one is bosons, and the other is fermions.
The scientific thod for differentiating basic particle types is by the spin multiple of basic particles. According to the spin multiple of basic particles, they can be divided into integers and half-integers, with integers being spin multiples of 0, 1, 2, 3, and so on, and half-integers being spin multiples of 1/2, 3/2, 5/2, and so on. Since particle spin multiples are either a full circle or a circle and a half, there are only two categories of basic particles, just like there are only even and odd numbers in nurals. Among them, basic particles with integer spin are bosons, while those with half-integer spin are fermions.
