Constant Star Unrivaled disdainfully said, "Haha, did the tal Civilization tell you this? This further proves that they are lying. In fact, the Titan Civilization only ca previously to collect the benefits they were owed."

"If indeed so agreents were reached, then you certainly have the right to the benefits of the agreent, but you still haven’t explained why your cooperative relationship turned into a combative one?" Wandering did not fully trust Constant Star Unrivaled, despite the seemingly justifiable statents earlier, as it was just one side of the story. He wanted a full understanding before making a final decision.

Constant Star Unrivaled said, "It’s simple, the reason we turned against each other is due to a dispute over the division of interests. After two rounds of negotiations, since I did not receive the expected compensation, I decided to initiate a war, to fight for my rights through warfare. Experience has proven that in the Universe, only technological power is the real guarantee."

"The last point, I do agree with you. After experiencing many civilization wars, I’ve concluded that without corresponding power, there is no such thing as fairness. What exists is only the strong preying on the weak. No matter how glamorous the exterior becos, its essence will never change!" Wandering stated.

Constant Star Unrivaled responded, "I’m glad we can reach so consensus in certain aspects. Actually, you should also think carefully, if it were not for making an agreent with the tal Civilization, the root conflict actually lies in the resource war between the Titan Civilization and the Wandering Alliance. Initially, the most accurate move would have been to ambush the Wandering Alliance again after the tal Civilization left. Revenge on the tal Civilization could have been delayed. But we didn’t do so, because the Titan Civilization understands that the Wandering Alliance only had so materials, which are everywhere in the universe and aren’t rare, but the tal Civilization, being a Level 4 Civilization, possesses what we need more."

However, Constant Star Unrivaled never expected that the then-weak Level 3 Civilization of the Wandering Alliance had already surpassed them by now.

"Alright, I have told you the basic process. Why don’t you ask the tal Civilization and see how they respond?" Constant Star Unrivaled suggested with a hint of playfulness at the end.

Wandering’s gaze turned towards the nearby commanding Battle Star, the core governnt of the tal Civilization, "You’ve also received the ssage from Constant Star Unrivaled, facing his statents, how do you explain this?"

The core governnt of the tal Civilization did not imdiately respond, but continued to discuss in the eting how to handle this matter.

In fact, when Constant Star Unrivaled told Wandering the truth, the governnt of the tal Civilization already knew that the situation was irreversible. No matter how they tried to cover it up, the truth would inevitably surface. Therefore, their eting aid to discuss how best to handle this crisis. Although Constant Star Unrivaled had only spoken verbally without presenting any evidence, the tal Civilization was very aware that the Titan Civilization definitely had evidence. After all, any of the previous communications were irrefutable evidence which they could not deny.

Why didn’t Constant Star Unrivaled present it directly?

There were also clever individuals within the tal Civilization who analyzed that this was a trap set by Constant Star Unrivaled, intended to make Wandering lose complete faith and disgust towards the tal Civilization.

The likely tactics were, in the beginning, to only use verbal explanation, letting the tal Civilization believe that the Titan Civilization had no evidence, thus engaging in vehent denial, and then at a critical mont, presenting the evidence. This would not only slap the tal Civilization but also once again expose the ugly face of the tal Civilization to Wandering, achieving the maximum effect of sowing discord. The act of Constant Star Unrivaled passing the speaking rights to them was all too clear.

If it were a civilization with insufficient experience and inadequate analysis of the situation, they would certainly be caught in Constant Star Unrivaled’s trap.

However, fortunately, there were those within the tal Civilization who realized this and did not choose to deny or resist. After deliberation, they unanimously decided that admitting was actually the best way to handle this.

Thus, the tal Civilization launched an emotional appeal to Wandering, "Wandering, we are sorry. What Constant Star Unrivaled said is indeed true. This matter was indeed initiated by us in cooperation with the Titan Civilization. We will not deny our mistake, and we are aware that this has caused certain damages to you and the Wandering Alliance. We know that saying more now cannot change past misdeeds, but having been with the tal Civilization for a long ti, you should know that the tal Civilization truly intends to accept you and grant you an independent life. I hope you can give us a chance to make ands, rather than falling for Constant Star Unrivaled’s plot to divide us."

One must admit, the tal Civilization was indeed very clever.

Setting aside how genuine their intentions were expressed, just the fact that they admitted their mistakes with such an attitude and sought to make ands, pointing out at the end that it was Constant Star Unrivaled’s conspiracy, was very smart.

This explanation was very concise and effectively leapfrogged the pit dug by Constant Star Unrivaled. Naturally, Constant Star Unrivaled would not expect that the tal Civilization could see through his sche.

"Since this matter is true, then I would like to know what exactly the dispute over the division of interests was?"

Wandering did not imdiately announce his decision, as he needed ti to carefully and comprehensively consider before he could reach the most beneficial outco for himself. anwhile, he used this opportunity to ask more questions to give himself enough ti to think.

The tal Civilization responded, "Because the Titan Civilization is insatiable. We have already paid the technology and materials stipulated in the agreent, but they wanted even more, to the extent of outrageous demands. They even wanted our ultimate weapon—the core technology of the Absolute Zero Domain. How could we possibly give them that?"

So that was the reason. But thinking about it, the Absolute Zero Domain was the ace weapon of the tal Civilization; how could they easily hand over the technology to another civilization? What if the other party turned around and used this weapon against them?

"That’s outrageous!"

Constant Star Unrivaled angrily retorted, "Are we just greedy, that simple? In the initial collaboration agreent, you kept saying that the Wandering Alliance was easy to deal with, but what’s the reality? They destroyed one of our Titan Battle Stars and hundreds of substars. And the agreent did not include that you could destroy one of our Titan Battle Stars. Yet, in order to make your play more realistic, you suddenly used the Absolute Zero Domain to obliterate one of our Titan Battle Stars without informing us. You know, the Titan Battle Star is the core combat power of the Titan Civilization, yet we lost two during this cooperation. Shouldn’t you pay compensation?"

"..."

Wandering truly had not expected this.

Behind these two civilizations’ war, there was this aspect of the story, and no wonder this war erupted. After understanding the whole situation, Wandering felt it was not surprising at all. It would have been surprising if a war had not erupted.
