tal Star System.
When the Wandering Alliance and the Dense Civilization went to war, the distant tal Civilization remained relatively calm, with everything proceeding in an orderly fashion.
During the research collaboration with the tal Civilization, whenever it was ti for a break, a large number of scientists took the opportunity to seek guidance from the tal Planet Wandering regarding the Communist system, showing great interest in knowledge related to Communism. They even equipped the space research station floating above the tal Planet with a live broadcasting device to stream lectures by the Wandering to all the people of the tal Civilization.
To be honest, even the Wandering itself did not anticipate this situation.
Initially, the Wandering was worried about what it might encounter upon arriving at the tal Civilization, so it had envisioned many scenarios, such as being treated with respect due to its unique presence, or being attacked rcilessly by the tal Civilization, in which case it would resist to the death and use its formidable military power to either deter or conquer the tal Civilization... It can be said that it had almost envisioned every possible scenario, except for the current one.
Who could have imagined that the path it ultimately took was not conquest through force, but cultural invasion. Truly, man’s plans are no match for those of heaven!
"Wandering, hello, our equipnt here is all ready, can we start now?" At this mont, the contemplative Wandering received a reminder from the scientist of the tal Civilization.
"Yes, let’s begin!"
After the Wandering replied, the live broadcasting device was instantly activated, transmitting the Wandering’s video communication throughout the entire tal Star System.
In the live broadcast, a giant dark planet floated in the starry sky. Although there were not many decorations, the use of starry space as the stage and the universe as the background made this speech imbued with a grand and magnificent atmosphere!
As for the Consciousness Wave ssages from the Wandering, they were translated into the language of the tal Civilization by the receivers inside the space research station, reaching the ears of every tal person.
"First of all, I am very happy and fortunate to have this opportunity to communicate with everyone through this broadcast. I had so prejudices against the tal Civilization in the past, but I hope that after this exchange, we can have a heartfelt relationship and those who have prejudices against can also let them go. Before the speech, I want to clarify sothing: I am not the proposer of the Communist system; I just had the opportunity to participate in so of its organizational structures during my ti with the Wandering Alliance. I will do my best to explain the knowledge related to the Communist system to you, hoping that you can benefit from it and enhance the cohesion of your civilization, to completely overco the cosmic extinction crisis caused by the stopping of universe expansion."
"Although I have discussed the basic concepts and history of the Communist system with many scientists before, considering that this is a live broadcast and addressing everyone, let explain again the basic concept of the Communist system. The initial concept of the Communist system is Communism, which originates as a thod and way of thinking about wealth distribution on Earth. Because it differs from the mainstream distribution thods, this way, thod, and related thoughts are called Communism. Communism was born in the mid-19th century on Earth, proposed by Marx, Engels, and others. It advocates the abolition of private ownership of ans of production, establishing a classless, exploitation-free, oppression-free collective large production society, which is a highly self-liberating social system, facing crises and evil forces with a high degree of unity."
Upon hearing this, everyone finally saw the light.
Especially the tal people who had interacted with the Wandering Alliance, they were all deeply impressed by the Alliance’s incredible unity and cohesion.
"However, due to the lack of a detailed guide to Communism in its early stages, everyone was ’crossing the river by feeling the stones,’ and thus so detours were encountered on this path. Over ti, as the era changed, the experiences related to Communism were continuously perfected, evolving from a simple concept of distribution into a comprehensive policy encompassing society, civilization, institutions, and politics, hence it ca to be known as the communist system."
"Does that an the communist system is an upgraded version of Communism?" A scientist asked after Wandering finished speaking.
Wandering responded: "Yes, you could say that. The production relationship is the most fundantal relationship in a communal society, and when it changes, the entire societal system and ways of thinking will undergo changes."
Another scientist followed up with a question: "Wandering, hello, I have a key question. Since the communist system is based on production relationships, why haven’t ideologies like this appeared in our tal Civilization?"
Wandering answered: "It’s an interesting question. I was as curious as you initially because I thought such a thing would appear in every civilization, but it turned out to be different than I thought; the Universe really has too many miracles. Later, after discussing this with many scientists and consulting with a specialized historian, my historian friend told that, strictly speaking, tal Civilization didn’t lack such ideologies. In the history of tal Civilization, soone had once proposed a theory called ’Communesphere,’ which can be considered the budding stage of the Communist System. If it could be perfected, it might have evolved into a Communist System, but unfortunately, due to your biological conditions, environntal factors, traditional customs, etc., this budding idea was subrged and forgotten, so probably many of you haven’t even heard of the Communesphere theory."
"What exactly caused these two civilizations to embark on different paths?" Another scientist asked.
Wandering continued: "It’s primarily due to biological instincts and environntal factors. tal Civilization’s concept of wealth is different from Earth Civilization. Although both are based on material foundations, the material needs are completely different. tal life forms eat much less frequently than those on Earth and obtaining food and materials is very easy and almost risk-free. Early Earth Civilization, however, was fighting for food and survival space with their lives at stake. Besides, Earth life forms live less than a hundred years, whereas tal life forms have a longevity of five thousand years. You live under relatively comfortable conditions, and therefore, the need for unity is naturally not strong. There’s a saying, ’A skyscraper rises from the ground.’ These basic developnts naturally result in completely different civilizations; this is the natural developntal law of materialism."
Wandering paused briefly, then added: "Let give you another example from Earth in the 19th century. Earth was divided into Western Civilization and Eastern Civilization. People were curious about why the sa planet would develop two different civilizations. After repeatedly studying history, environnt, climate, and other factors, it was discovered that the root cause was the geographical environnt that influenced the thought process evolution. In the East, the Himalayas blocked the monsoons, resulting in reduced rainfall, which created geological conditions suitable for cultivating rice, a sustainable food source. Thus, Eastern Civilization shifted from a hunting culture to a self-sufficient agricultural culture. In the West, due to their residence by the sea or on small islands, the soil has higher salt content and excess moisture, making it unsuitable for rice but ideal for growing vine crops like grapes. However, as fruits like grapes cannot directly sustain life, they had to trade the grapes for necessary food, thus Western Civilization shifted from a hunting to a trading or piracy culture, as early trade was essentially robbery at sea. Even entering the industrial age, Western Civilization was still predominantly brutal in its developnt. This example shows that even races on the sa planet can evolve in different directions due to geographical environnts, let alone the differences between different planets."
"I had no idea Earth was such a rich and fascinating place, and Earth Civilization had to unite for survival from the beginning, which is much better than our tal Civilization’s idle and decadent culture."
A scientist shared his thoughts, but it seed a bit like "the grass is always greener... no, in the interstellar universe age, more accurately, ’the alien moons are rounder!’"
Hearing this remark, Wandering suddenly thought of a novel from Earth called Three Body, where one character hoped that an alien civilization would co to save the degenerate Earth Civilization, showing that in her subconscious, she believed an alien civilization was more advanced and superior. People (including aliens) often form a looking-up ntality towards hearsay, not knowing that perhaps the other side is facing a situation even worse than their own!
