Chapter 39 – Ghost
The world was exactly the sa as when he left it last ti. It was as if the whole world was frozen at the mont he left, except for the immortal sword that was chasing him.

Hua Hu also ca over to look and when they saw the head, they were both shocked.
Su Yun comforted the little foxes, "It's okay, it's okay, the snow knocked down the east wall."
The three little fox spirits believed him and went back to sleep. Hu Buping made a babbling sound, curling up with his tail, dreaming about sothing.
"Second brother, we're out of dry firewood. You stay here and watch the fire, I'll go to the east wing and get so firewood," Su Yun whispered.
"Be careful!" Hua Hu warned solemnly.
Su Yun quietly got up and opened the door, walking out. Hua Hu silently closed the door behind him.
Suddenly, the huge head in the courtyard of the Holy Lord Temple shook, startling Su Yun who quickly stopped. Hua Hu was watching from the window, her heart almost in her throat.
The monster head moved again, but didn't do anything else.
Su Yun cautiously walked around it.
Suddenly, he saw a huge figure swaying outside the temple wall. He looked up and saw a giant more than ten zhang high, much taller than the main hall of the Holy Lord Temple, walking around outside!
The giant seed to be blindfolded and couldn't see anything around him, reaching out his hands to feel around.
Su Yun looked closely and was horrified to see that the giant had no head on his neck!
He walked around outside the temple, as if feeling around for his own head!
Su Yun beca even more cautious and quietly walked towards the east wing. At this mont, a black hand reached over the temple wall, groping around.Su Yun hurriedly opened the door to the east wing and quietly closed it behind him just as the big hand was about to grab him. The hand searched around for a mont before moving on, and Su Yun quickly grabbed a bundle of firewood and quietly opened and closed the door, heading towards the west wing along the wall.
At that mont, the big hand from the front blocked his way, while another big hand appeared behind him, trapping him. Su Yun gritted his teeth and ran towards the big head that had fallen from the sky.
The head was still moving and making noise, and Su Yun held his breath as he walked towards the west wing, where the fire was gradually dying down. He hurried his pace, but the two big hands finally found the head and lifted it up by its ssy hair.
The head, which had been face down in the courtyard, was now swung back and forth like a drum as the eyes, as big as washbasins, opened and shone with a green light.
Su Yun turned around and faced the head, not hesitating to grab two sticks of firewood and shoot them at the head with his finger. The sticks made a sharp sound as they hit the head's eyes, causing it to cry out in pain. The headless body outside held the head in one hand and rubbed its neck with the other, as if trying to rub its eyes.
Su Yun rushed towards the west wing and Hua Hu quickly opened the door. Suddenly, there was a commotion outside the temple as horses neighed and stomped their feet. Soone shouted, "Uncle, there's a fire ahead! Those little rabbits who killed Yuan Wu must be hiding there!"
