81 A FEAST WITH HUMAN FLESH
The bright red moved away from him, and the pair of blue eyes continued to stare at how the broad back was getting further away from him.

Ma Qiao scolded him, and Bai Chen heard how the servant ntioned the kiss on his forehead earlier. It was just a simple ntion, but Bai Chen’s forehead suddenly ward as if Zhu Ge’s kiss was still lingering there.
And maybe the kiss was still there because Bai Chen could still feel the sensation of the lips pressed against his forehead.
“I don’t think Zhu Ge is that bad,” Bai Chen replied as he looked ahead again. Unfortunately, that pair of blue eyes no longer t the bright red. “He’s very flirtatious and clumsy, but I don’t think he’s that bad.”
Bai Chen’s brain told him not to trust Zhu Ge easily because that man was suspicious, but his heart dared to rebel by telling him that Zhu Ge was not a bad person. At this point, Bai Chen didn’t know which to believe.

“I rember you said that you had hired soone to help prepare for the event because Zhu Ge couldn’t stay here to help ,” Bai Chen suddenly returned to his business manner. “Where’s the guy? I only have two weeks before the event, and I can’t waste any more ti.”

“You did tell , Your Highness,” the older man finally answered. “You locked yourself in the pavilion because you didn’t want to eat human flesh. You still rember that the Rongyao Imperial Palace always holds a feast on the night of the full moon, right? In that feast, the royal family and officials will eat human flesh.”
