312 THE MASK KISS
“Is it like a GPS that can track my position?”
“What is GPS?”
“...” Bai Chen ntally slapped himself. He was too shocked after learning the truth about the black bead that Wu Jinhai’s dick had produced after they were done with their hot activities, and without being able to hold it in, he popped out that question, forgetting that he was currently in an ancient world.
Of course, there was no GPS in this world. Even a map was still drawn manually, and that was why modern devices like GPS wouldn’t be here. So, it was understandable if Wu Jinhai looked confused after hearing his question.
Bai Chen was helpless, but then his blue eyes caught Wu Jinhai’s golden mask on the ground, and he stretched out his hand before picking it up. Without asking Wu Jinhai for his opinion, he silently put on the golden mask to cover the man’s face.
Even if he didn’t sense anyone’s presence around them, Bai Chen still thought that it would be too risky if Wu Jinhai didn’t properly cover the golden scales on the man’s forehead, and that was why he decided to help the man protect his identity.
“You must not carelessly take off your mask, Wu Jinhai. You always say that you want to take back the position as Crown Prince of Wu Li, but your behavior is too reckless,” Bai Chen voiced a scolding after the golden mask once again covered Wu Jinhai’s face.
Perhaps the existence of the golden mask to cover the man’s face wasn’t enough to protect Wu Jinhai’s identity as the man was still naked now, but Bai Chen was just trying to distract the man so he wouldn’t keep asking him about the term “GPS.”
Unfortunately, Wu Jinhai wasn’t so easily fooled at this ti, and he resolutely said, “You just want to change the subject, right? Why don’t you just answer my question? I noticed that you also said sothing unknown sotis, but then you tried to avoid my questions whenever I asked about the aning behind those words. You are suspicious, Bai Chen.”

“...” Bai Chen couldn’t find an answer for Wu Jinhai this ti, and he sighed heavily as he silently stared at the pair of golden eyes peeking through the golden mask.
Wu Jinhai had even noticed how Bai Chen had foolishly ntioned so foreign words while they were together? Bai Chen should have expected that question because the Eldest Prince of Wu Li was definitely not stupid, but he was the one who wasn’t smart enough to imdiately co up with a reasonable answer to that question.
After thinking for a while and continuing to stare into those beautiful golden eyes, Bai Chen finally looked away as he replied, “Perhaps you would find it ridiculous, but I have my own dictionary, Wu Jinhai. My brain often creates new terms that only I know, but you do need to think about it too much because that’s only my habit.”
That was the only excuse Bai Chen could co up with, and he even brought down his pride by saying that he was very strange for having such a habit that only he knew about. But, that was still a better answer than honestly telling the man that he was from the modern world, right? It would only force him to tell more about what had happened to him before he returned to this world, and that was why he had chosen the other option this ti.
And the Werewolf Prince was quite nervous that the other man didn’t imdiately respond to his words. Had he failed to fool Wu Jinhai this ti? Would Wu Jinhai continue to question him?
Bai Chen was worried inside, but then he could feel how a hand gently caught his chin before forcing him to once again look at that pair of golden eyes. Of course, it was Wu Jinhai who did that to him, and Bai Chen knew that he would not be able to escape that pair of deep eyes.
“I can understand people having strange habits, and that’s why you don’t need to call yourself ridiculous, Bai Chen. If one of us is considered ridiculous, then it’s probably . You know how I keep on pretending to be perfect just to usurp the position of Crown Prince from my half-brother, right? That’s more ridiculous than your simple habit, and that’s why you shouldn’t feel ashad of it.”
Unexpectedly, Wu Jinhai was defending him instead of ridiculing him. Sure enough, the gentle deanor of the black-haired man was rare for Bai Chen. Wu Jinhai’s real personality was when he was Zhu Ge, and that guy was really annoying.

And behind the golden mask, Wu Jinhai smiled before bringing his face closer to Bai Chen and pressed his mask right against Bai Chen’s lips, intending to kiss the brown-haired man even though the golden mask was between them.
Bai Chen was used to the mask kiss because it wasn’t the first ti Wu Jinhai had done that to him, and that was why he smiled before he wrapped his arms around Wu Jinhai’s shoulders, feeling happy even if it was only the cold surface of the mask pressed against his lips.
But the mask kiss didn’t stay for a long ti because Wu Jinhai finally pulled away and said, “The white crystal on the sword’s hilt is yours but you accidentally put it in my body, and once I managed to pull it out, I recognized it as our son and nad it Wu Jiang because that’s the na I used when I introduced myself to your mother many years ago. Now I think we should use your na for our daughter. Let’s just call her Wu Chen from now on.”
