231 THAT ANNOYING GUY
It was Yu Ming, the boss of the Red Pavilion who greeted Bai Chen enthusiastically when he visited the place a month ago.

Moreover, Yu Ming was the owner of the Red Pavilion where Wu Jinhai pretended to be one of the male prostitutes there, and Bai Chen assud that there was a conspiracy between the two n.
That was the reason Bai Chen didn’t want to stand close to Yu Ming, and his blue eyes also didn’t want to leave the black-clothed man for even a second, afraid that the man would launch an attack when he did not pay attention to him.
“Yes, I was the one who killed that evil demon to save you,” Yu Ming replied casually as he glanced at the soulless demon that was still lying on the ground. “I’ve been trying to end her life in the past few months, knowing that the nasty demon loves to bring chaos to Wu Li, and today I finally got the chance to finish her off.”
Yu Ming sounded heartless when he admitted that he had killed the Flute Demon, and Bai Chen could see that the boss of the Red Pavilion wasn’t just a powerless human. He even assud that the man had been faking his harmless appearance all along.
“Who are you?” Instead of responding to Yu Ming’s statent, Bai Chen asked the man while furrowing his brows.
It seed that Bai Chen didn’t want to hear any more nonsense today, and that was why he got to the point instead of responding to Yu Ming’s story regarding the Flute Demon.

He didn’t care even if Yu Ming sounded very heroic when he said that he had been trying to put an end to the demon because the demon had been causing chaos in the Wu Li Empire for a while now. That was probably just another bullshit, right? That was why Bai Chen didn’t want to continue talking about it, and instead, he directly asked about the man’s identity.
However, even after hearing his question, Yu Ming only looked at him lightly before saying, “You don’t rember ? I t you at the Red Pavilion a month ago, but you don’t rember ? I guess you only rember Zhu Ge, right?”

“I already know everything about the man you call Zhu Ge, so you don’t need to pretend anymore. Now you better tell who you are. You’ve worked with that man to trick , right?” Enraged, Bai Chen continued to pressure Yu Ming to tell the truth.
He was really angry right now. First, he finally discovered the truth that Zhu Ge had been lying to him all along, and second, the Flute Demon suddenly appeared out of nowhere and cast her spell on him until he recalled the worst mory he had ever had.

Bai Chen tried to shake off the mory as he looked at Yu Ming and waited for the man to answer his question. He just wanted to know the truth, and he kept telling himself that he wouldn’t easily believe what Yu Ming said when the man finally opened his mouth to answer his question.
“That annoying guy really told you everything, huh?” Instead of answering Bai Chen’s question, Yu Ming once again asked the Werewolf Prince. “A while ago he told that he would reveal everything in front of you, but I didn’t expect him to do it so soon.”
Hearing Yu Ming’s statent, Bai Chen could conclude that the man indeed knew everything about Wu Jinhai. Furthermore, Yu Ming could even refer to Wu Jinhai as ‘that annoying guy,’ and Bai Chen was certain that Yu Ming might be related to Wu Li’s royal family.
Aside from that fact, Yu Ming also said that Wu Jinhai had said that he would reveal his secret, and Bai Chen was sure that Yu Ming indeed knew a lot about Wu Jinhai’s plans.
“You are wrong,” Bai Chen replied to Yu Ming. “That person didn’t tell anything about himself, but he suddenly appeared in front of , nonverbally telling who he really was. However, he still didn’t tell anything about him even when I kept questioning him.”
Bai Chen was telling the truth, and he even gritted his teeth as he recalled the mory of when the red-clothed man could only remain silent even as he continued to question the man.
“Is that so?” Yu Ming once again asked the Werewolf Prince calmly. “Maybe it’s true that he still hasn’t told you anything about him, but maybe that’s because you’ve shown him how angry you are after finding out his true identity. Don’t you know that he’s the most afraid to see you’re angry?”
