198 THE HELPFUL SYSTEM
Bai Chen had just received another notification from the system, and he had also just gotten another 5% of the system after so pieces of strange mory suddenly flashed through his mind.
He did think that the mory was strange because he was pretty sure that it didn’t belong to him. Just as the strange mory of a silly child saving another child innocently flashed through his mind a few days ago, Bai Chen was certain that the mory of a boy and a woman did not belong to him, but they belonged to the real Bai Chen in this world.
“Why do I keep getting Bai Chen’s mories? Is it because I continued to live as the real Bai Chen in this world that I finally managed to get his mories too?” Bai Chen wondered to himself as he stared at the void in front of him, and his heart suddenly pounded like crazy.
He had stuffed the letter from Bai Renshu into his clothes once again, and now he could only stare at the void as he couldn’t even believe what was happening to him.
Right after he managed to find out the truth about Bai Renshu from the letter, he could suddenly see the mory in his mind, and he didn’t understand why the mory had suddenly appeared as if it wanted to give him more information about Bai Renshu.
Bai Chen was certain that the ones in the mory were the real Bai Chen in this world as well as Tang Yani. The two of them had such a sweet relationship since Bai Chen was a child, and it seed that the woman was a loving mother who cared deeply for her child.
Apart from that information, Bai Chen also managed to obtain another important piece of information about how it was possible for Tang Yani to know the truth about Bai Renshu all those years ago.
Tang Yani kept asking Bai Chen not to hate Bai Renshu until her last breath. When Bai Chen suddenly got several new toys when he was little, Tang Yani also mysteriously said that she knew the person who sent the toys, but she didn’t want to tell Bai Chen the identity of that person.

Bai Chen was shocked by another notification from the system, and he could see that he was once again making progress when he only thought about Bai Renshu and Tang Yani’s past relationship.
“I was just thinking about it, and the system suddenly ca up with another notification. I think I can see the notification as confirmation,” Bai Chen once again muttered to himself.
He was alone in the Jing Pavilion, and no one could give him confirmation on matters related to Bai Renshu and Tang Yani. The two nas that filled his head also wouldn’t be able to tell him anything since they had died for different reasons, but Bai Chen still had the system that continued to help him in this world.
“That’s right. The system just gave confirmation, but I still have a few things I want to ask,” Bai Chen looked like a curious child, and he continued to collect questions in his head after he read Bai Renshu’s letter. The Werewolf Prince suddenly shifted his gaze to his surroundings as he whispered, “Are you here, Bai Lang? I need to ask you sothing, so please co to right now.”
It seed that Bai Chen had continued to treat the little wolf as a ghost as he continued to summon the wolf by doing so. It was as if Bai Chen thought that Bai Lang was invisible and always by his side even if he couldn’t see the white wolf, and that was why he was asking such a question into the air in the Jing Pavilion.
And maybe that was indeed the right way to summon the little wolf because Bai Lang suddenly appeared out of thin air, and it proudly floated in front of Bai Chen with its arms folded across its chest.
It was still the sa little wolf that kept on giving Bai Chen strange missions, and Bai Chen usually looked at the creature with eyes full of irritation, but today was different because that pair of blue eyes carried hope when they saw the little creature.
“Congratulations, Bai Chen. You’re getting closer to completing the mission regarding Tang Yani’s death,” Bai Lang spoke before Bai Chen could open his mouth to speak, and the little wolf even congratulated the werewolf after the werewolf managed to obtain a single piece of information after another.
Bai Chen should feel proud that Bai Lang no longer looked down on him now, but he sohow felt dissatisfied when he heard the wolf’s words. Instead of feeling satisfied, he felt even more challenged after hearing the words that ca out of the wolf’s mouth, and he just stared at the wolf solemnly as if he was thinking of sothing.
“The mory that suddenly crossed my mind belonged to the real Bai Chen of this world, right?” The Prince finally asked the little wolf.
“Yes,” Bai Lang replied calmly without any intention of hiding the truth from the Prince. “I purposely opened your mories one by one to help you complete the missions one by one. It would be good for you if you could use your mories wisely, Bai Chen.”
Bai Lang had just given him a confirmation, but Bai Chen managed to catch sothing strange from the wolf’s answer, and he furrowed his brows before asking again, “Earlier you confird that the mories indeed belonged to the real Bai Chen in this world, but then you said that you purposely opened my mories one by one so that I can complete my missions. Why do your words sound contradictory to each other, Bai Lang? Which one is true? Is the mory mine or Bai Chen’s?”
