Its steps were incredibly seductive like a showgirl in Amsterdam's red-light district as it ran its fingers through its hair. Pausing with its feet crossed one in front of the other it said, "You need to be prepared to do whatever it takes to get the one you love. Do you understand?" watching her at the corner of its eye. "Now it all cos down to.... how badly you want him?"
Xiaoyu stared dazedly at this vile creature that looked exactly like her apart from the enchantress aura surrounding its body. The way it swung its hips like it was performing a strip tease made Xiaoyu want to vomit but because she hadn't eaten anything since last night she would probably throw up nothing.
Extrely annoyed by this licentious behaviour she said, "Stop, you are going to blind with your slutty behaviour."
The creature paused its steps for a while before rushing towards her its teeth and eyes slightly transforming to their original form. It gazed at her threateningly and whispered,
"Do you think you are in a position to bargain with , huh?" It stuck out its long slithering tongue and licked the side of her face as it continued, "Darling, don't you understand the type of situation you are currently in?"
Xiaoyu shifted her face to the side trying to avoid it but because her body was frozen she could barely move her head away. She tightly shut her eyes telling herself to endure it but it was easier said than done.
The creature slowly withdrew its tongue as its true form vanished and was replaced with Xiaoyu's pretty face. "Now, I take it you will behave so let explain to you what is going to happen."
As it said this it got up before sitting next to Xiaoyu. "You have two options," raising two fingers. "One, I eat you as an appetizer right here or two.... you help get those stones your boyfriend has been collecting. How about that?"
Xiaoyu who had just been eyeing this creature coldly was so taken aback that sothing flickered in her eyes.
She didn't understand why this thing wanted the keystones. Of course, it had sothing to do with opening the gateway between Niuq and this world but why did this creature want to go there? Was it to stir trouble or maybe it had a family left behind in Niuq?
Seeing that Xiaoyu didn't respond it continued, "I thought you of all people would understand . We are the sa kind of Nocru. You are lovelorn and I am looking for love."
It leaned in closer to Xiaoyu's ear and continued, "Can't you see? We are both afflicted by matters of the heart." One would have to admit this creature had a very special way with words. If any Niuq native heard the statent 'I am looking for love' said by the Yinying creature they would vomit blood.
There is no such thing as love among the Yinying clan because like the black widow they would slaughter their mate when the deed is done. However, they were sowhat less disgusting when compared to the black widow spider because they didn't supplent their nutrients with their slaughtered mate. That was the only upside.
Now it was putting on a miserable act just to convince Xiaoyu to agree and temporarily join forces. "Your problem is obvious and I can solve it for you,"
lowering its voice it said, "I can make him disappear and that boy would be all yours. You can stand by him and comfort him in his grief. Taking advantage of his weakness you can bed him and conceive his child. I promise you he will never have eyes for anyone else ever again."
It said this but it knew how much of a lie this was. It knew about the Qilin and their peculiar problem as it was from Niuq after all. "So what do you say? My offer is especially good right?"
Its voice was low and tempting enough to make soone agree to sothing stupid. Xiaoyu's heart was stirred by this diabolical plan but she couldn't. Logically it seed plausible but if Ji Yao ever found out he would personally kill her with his own hands. She knew the severe consequences that ca with this plan but it was tempting.
Imagining a world without Rui Fei where it was only her and Ji Yao put a slight smile on her face. How wonderful would it be to have Ji Yao look at her like the way he looked at Rui Fei? How lovely it would be to have him all to herself even if he didn't gaze at her with tender affections like he did that boy.
It wouldn't matter as long as she could be by his side. This plan was indeed tempting enough to pique her interest but her moral ethics were barricading her. Besides, Ji Yao didn't like being touched by anyone apart from Rui Fei. This made her realise that even if she wanted to comfort him it would never work because he wouldn't let her touch him.
"Your offer is tempting but I can't even get closer to him long enough for to get pregnant," she said already seeing herself as this creature's appetizer. She lay there frozen still unable to move as she silently gazed at the roof of the cave.
All this while she had been trying to circulate her seraphic energy but it was as though her veins were blocked preventing the flow of energy from her aether.
This ant she had no hope. Either die here or agree to this creature's proposition but what was the use of agreeing with it? Ji Yao wouldn't let her touch him anyway.
A crooked smile appeared on the creature's face. It knew what her concerns were and the good thing was that it had a solution. With an out stretched arm, it said, "I know what you are worrying about," as a bright light shone on its hand.
A crystal bottle appeared in its hand and inside was a shimring liquid flowing in circles like the milky way galaxy. Xiaoyu's brow furrowed as she stared at this crystal bottle with interest. She had no idea what this tiny thing had to do with Ji Yao but she couldn't help being drawn to it.
"It is not a you problem but a Qilin problem. You see, Qilin clan mbers are a weird type of species. Because of their evil nature the gods must have punished them otherwise how can sothing so powerful have such a pathetic weakness," it explained pretty much excited to educate this lovestruck fool.
"You might have felt less than when he rejected you countless tis, right? I know you must have loathed yourself thinking you weren't good enough each ti he took his hand away when you wanted to hold it," it said its voice like that of a snake trying to lure Eve into eating the forbidden fruit.
