[Agent Helios POV]

[When Agent Selene left them alone in the living room...]

"Aww... your wife left," Agent Hades teased, despite knowing too well that it was in our plan to make her leave.

I ntioned it to him yesterday when I called him. After all, making him the interrogator to catch such a small fry of a betrayer wasn’t my sole intention for calling him over. I wouldn’t need the help of the Top 3 Mythos agent for sothing as simple as that.

"It’s alright. She’ll find sothing else to do," I replied as I waved my hand towards the servants, telling them to leave us alone.

It wasn’t only Agent Selene that needed to leave, but everyone that could hear our conversation.

"How cold of you towards your wife," he teased again when everyone had already left. "Or should I say... your pretend wife?"

"Enough talking about her. Report your new findings to now," I demanded.

"Chill, man. I was about to send it to you, as a matter of fact."

He tapped on his phone and sent over so files to . I quickly opened them and reviewed the contents, scanning through everything with my eyes. As I read them, my lips curved into an evil grin.

"I see you finally found the maker of that insignia."

"Uh-huh," he nodded. "And since the great already found him, Mythos has posted a new A-rank mission to capture him alive. Since I’m the one who found his whereabouts, I might as well be the one to bring him back, right?"

"Good. Make sure to get a list of people he ca into contact with and how many pieces of those insignia he created—the authentic ones."

"Yeah, yeah, I know. You can leave it all in my capable hands. When did I ever fail you, your highness?"

"Ugh. Shut up."

"But you have part of a royal blood," he shrugged, teasing like usual. "It is the most befitting title to you."

"Spare your antics, please."

"Okay, I will if you tell your cousin’s contact number. You know—that beautiful blonde and sexy lady."

Haah... Soone tell again why I befriended this guy? How did we even beco one? I probably gave up when he kept clinging to when we were children.

"If you don’t stop that kind of flirty and sexually active lifestyle, I won’t be surprised if you get diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease or sothing alike," I said, sighing deeply. "Well, not that I care, but I suggest you not touch and be at least two ters apart from . Wear a mask when you talk as well. I don’t want your saliva traveling through the air, or I might end up contracting the sa disease as you."

"HUH?! Seriously? This is what you say to your long-ti pal you haven’t talked to in years?! I still can’t believe you ignored your whole Mythos life! How could you be so cold towards ? I’m your first wife!"

I grimaced as soon as I heard that.

"Ugh. Gross. If you have nothing else to share, go on and do your other task. It’s easy, so I believe you can finish this afternoon."

His face looked horrid as my hand waved, shooing him away.

"That’s it?!" he complained. "You’re not even going to ask how I’m doing? How many girls are on my list now? Did I finally fall in love, or am I still in it just for the sex? Or sothing serious like—am I doing okay? Am I not sad, or did I not encounter any dangerous situation?" He faked crying, acting like a pitiful dog. "How cold towards your only friend!"

I sighed yet again and rolled my eyes. Here we go again.

"You’re not my only friend, so stop saying that," I replied, shaking my head. "And stop acting like that. It doesn’t suit you. You look more like a monster than the pitiful face you’re trying to pull."

"Liar! You don’t have other friends."

"Why do you all assu I don’t? My wife does the sa. Do I look THAT unfriendly?"

His eyes widened in surprise.

"You’re only figuring that out now?"

Ah. Alas, my patience snapped.

"Shoo! Go away and do what you ca here for. Don’t talk to ."

"Hey! Wait! Let’s chat a little more—"

And so his words went on and on as I tried to escape him.

As much as I trust his skills in being an agent, I hate him just as much, given how much of a pain-in-the-ass he was. Look at him acting as if we’re that close. I need to get away from him quickly, or else he would yap his mouth all day long.

I walked faster and even used my stealth abilities just to escape him. Ugh. If he weren’t too skilled, I would have lost him in less than a minute. But then, it had been a few minutes, and I still struggled to escape him.

I tried speeding up, then carefully hiding in a corner, but still, he found . I tried confusing him with the mansion’s layout, but still, he morized it just as fast. I tried going through a crowded area—where the maids and other servants were gathered—still, it was no use.

In that case, there was only one way to get away from him—a bait. I need a sexy maid sowhere to distract him.

But then, as I tried to find any suitable bait, I heard him whistle from behind . I turned around only to see him looking upstairs towards a window. When I followed his gaze... I saw him looking at Agent Selene. She was in the small office inside our bedroom, leaning towards the glass window and reading a bunch of papers in her hands.

"Woooah," he marveled and clicked his tongue. "Your wife is really beautiful, huh?"

Hearing him say that hit a lot of nerves from within .

He sprinted towards while his eyes were fixed on her.

"Did you know? I actually tried courting her way back," he said happily as if rekindling a joyous mory. "Too bad she’s a real prick. She kept ignoring and giving the cold shoulders."

’Hah. Take that. As expected of my wife. She wouldn’t fall for the likes of you.’

"I wonder," he continued. "Do you think, if I show off my skills a little in this mission... do you think she’d acknowledge and notice my awesoness?"

Raising my eyebrows, I chuckled at the ridiculousness of the idea. I flirted with her many tis and even confessed that I liked her, but still, she didn’t budge. She’s stronger than an iron wall, titanium wall, or whatever was the sturdiest wall that existed. What makes him think she would fall for such a childish feat? I could do it myself with my eyes closed!

"Not to try and burst your bubbles, but," I laughed as I tried to give him friendly advice, "don’t even think about it. You have no chance."

"Eeeh? Why?"

"She’s just... Trust ."

"Did you fall for her, too, and try to confess?"

Huh? How did he...

"No," I instantly lied.

"Ha-ha-ha. Liar."

Ugh. Of course. He’s as shrewd as , so he could read like an open book. Tsk.

"I feel sorry for you, my dear friend," he tapped my shoulders and acted sorry. "It’s probably because you’re a virgin, so you don’t know what makes girls tick."

I brushed his hand away and scoffed.

"And you do?"

"Of course! I got lots of experience—you know it."

"Most are flirting and shallow relationships. I don’t think I’m up to such disgusting things."

"Still, they are considered experiences—unlike you. How many do you have?"

"I am proud to say that there is none."

"Pft! Alright, virgin boy," he laughed. "Let tell you a secret."

Pointing at Agent Selene, he continued.

"For girls like her—who’s probably also a virgin—the best approach is the DOMINANT approach. You learned that in the Art of Seduction training, right? You still rember?"

Skeptical to listen to the nonsense he would probably say, I knitted my brows.

"I do. And?"

"You beco dominant—in every scenario!"

"I already am, but it doesn’t work."

"Oh, you already did that? In that case, the last approach is ’by hook or by crook’—act all hot and throw her in the bed and do her like crazy. She’ll eventually love it, don’t worry. Then, she’ll notice you more after that night. And then, you give her a silent treatnt for days or weeks. After that, she’ll worry about why you’re ignoring her and crave your attention and all that sh*t. And finally, boom! She’s in love with you."

He said all that animatedly like so storyteller.

"Uhhh... Seriously? Bed her, then treat her like trash, and she’ll start thinking about you? Where in the whole universe did you get that idea?" I grunted and shook my head in dismay. "Besides, that’s rape. No way I’m doing that."

"Eeeeh? Well, if you won’t, then I’ll do it. Watch and learn."

What the f*ck did he just say?! He will do WHAT?

Before I knew it... I already punched him hard in the face.

"Awwww, dude! That hurts!"

"You..."

I addressed him in the most nacing and outraged way I have ever done.

"Don’t you DARE touch my wife. I won’t forgive it even if it’s you."
