After that, I returned to the computer and checked the status.

’Ah, finally!’
As soon as the computer screen displayed those words, I took the device out and climbed up the air duct, removing the clipping device I put temporarily and screwed it back into place. Then, I crawled again back to the comfort room I was in earlier, went down, screwed the bars of the air ducts into place, and changed to the dress I was wearing earlier. I made sure to wipe off any dust that got into and sprayed perfu over my body in case I caught any weird sll.
Five minutes was up, and just as we planned, I got out of the comfort room. The lady who helped earlier was still there, though far away because she was talking to a colleague. When she saw co out, she bowed to and hurried to my side.
"Is there anything else you need, ma’am?" she kindly asked.
What an overly helpful person.
"I’m good. Thanks," I replied back with a smile. "Oh wait, would you mind? Where is Mr. Choi’s office again? I’m not so good with directions."
"Sure! Let accompany you, ma’am."
Good. This would be another excellent alibi for .
And so, the kind lady accompanied back to his office while telling lots of stories and showering with praises. It didn’t take long for us to get back to the office since we only needed to take a couple of turns—the comfort room was at the back of Mr. Choi’s office facing the opposite side, so basically, we just needed to follow the hallway.
Once we were back, the kind lady knocked on the door for and opened it, letting pass through. She should get a raise. Her attentiveness and politeness were comndable. Plus, she would definitely rember more—in case I needed her as a witness in the future.
Thinking that, I voiced it out to Mr. Choi.
"This employee of yours is very comndable. You should give her a raise," I said as I walked inside and sat back on the couch beside my husband.
I could see the reflection of the kind lady from the glass shelf behind Mr. Choi—she was very much surprised by what I said.
"Is that so?" Mr. Choi replied, looking pleased with what he heard. It seed that Agent Helios gave him a hard ti, so hearing sothing nice must have been reassuring for him. "Why not? I’ll make sure to have my people process her raise."
"Thanks, she deserves it."
"A-Ah... Thank you so much!" the kind lady bowed her head, thanking us profusely before leaving.
Turning to , Agent Helios brushed my hair and kissed my cheek.
"It seems like my dear wife enjoyed her little tour?" he whispered.
I smiled back at him sweetly.
"Yes, I did. That kind lady was fun to be with. She kept entertained with her stories while being observant and sensitive enough to my needs."
"That’s good to hear. Maybe we can hire her instead?"
"Ha-ha-ha. You’re pirating an employee. That’s bad. Mr. Choi only has a few comndable employees. Don’t let him lose every single one of them."
"Alright. I’ll be rciful. Besides, the servants I chose for you are already the best."
"They truly are, thank you."
"Ehem, Ehem," Mr. Choi cleared his throat, deliberately making his presence known in case we sohow forgot about him.
It was one of our tactics, though—to not look so interested in his proposal. That way, we could keep the upper hand. I personally didn’t understand much how that worked, but Agent Helios said he could pull it off, so I’ll trust him on that.
"Are you still not done?" I pouted. "How long will this conversation go?"
I know it’s barely been fifteen minutes since we arrived at his office but still, I had to act bored and uninterested since that was my public persona as the pampered wife.
"Usually, business talks take an hour or so, Mrs. Jeon," Mr. Choi answered . "If you are tired of looking around, how about you try our relaxing furniture? We have massage chairs, vanity furniture, and many more exciting things you might want to check out? If you ever find anything that delights you, I can send it to your ho as a gift. Feel free to choose anything to your liking."
Oh, he’s buying ti, huh? It seems like he still wanted to get Agent Helios’ approval for whatever business proposal that was.
Glancing at Agent Helios, I asked him.
"You still need more ti?"
He looked back at and stared into my eyes. He always locks eyes with when talking. I guess that’s how couples behave all the ti. Ordinary people would find it uncomfortable to make eye contact.
"Hmm... I think we’re done for today. His proposal wasn’t that interesting—it was a waste of ti. Why don’t we just go on a date instead?"
"Really?" I bead at him and leaned my head on his shoulder, acting cute.
"Of course. Where do you want to go?"
"How about... hmm..."
"W-Wait a minute, Mr. Eun-Woo, Mrs. Jeon," Mr. Choi’s face turned frantic, "please give a mont. If you’re not interested in what I initially ntioned, then how about sothing with a little more risk but with guaranteed high returns?"
’Guaranteed high returns? Since when did RIO (return of investnt) beco guaranteed, especially on high-risk ventures? Don’t tell ...’
I hate dealing with business talks, but I’m not stupid about it. Besides, Agent Helios taught the basics, so if I’m not mistaken, whatever he’s proposing... could it be related to the pyramid scams or any other possible intel we could get?
I glanced toward Agent Helios again, and he glanced back at . We’re probably thinking the sa thing.
"Five minutes," he said. "That’s all I’m giving you."
"Yes, of course! Let start right away!" Mr. Choi’s face lit up.
