Soon enough, it was ti to say goodbye. Mr. Young-Jae was a busy man and still had many other appointnts for the rest of the day. He had already extended enough ti for his beloved son.

I always thought rich families weren’t so nice and warm toward each other but seeing their relationship, I was wrong. They were busy, yes, but they still cared about their family. I didn’t know what’s the deal with his brother and mother—maybe they separated, and his brother was with his mother—but their ho, even with just the two of them, must be a warm and loving one.

"I’d love to as well... but not yet."

Those words echoed in my mind. "Not yet," huh? I wonder what that ant? What goal was he working so hard on that he was okay with leaving his father behind? And his father didn’t mind and understood him. It must be sothing so deep... like my obsession for my father’s justice.

’Well, whatever. It’s none of my business, and I shouldn’t pry.’

Brushing things off my mind, Agent Helios and I went back to the headquarters. The trip was silent for the most part. The only conversation we had was when we decided to visit my mother this coming weekend. I also gave him pointers about my mother and how he should react when eting with her. After discussing this, I sent a ssage to my mother that I was coming ho on Saturday and had a visitor.

’Haah... I wonder how this eting will go.’

[The next morning...]

Gathered on the top floor of Mythos, where the chief’s office was located, were , Agent Helios, Assistant Chief Athena, and Deputy Chief Ares. We sat around the round table with twelve seats, used mainly by the three chiefs and the nine senior captains. But this ti, no captains were in the vicinity.

Silence filled the room as we waited for the arrival of our most respected Chief Zeus. We agreed to et at eight in the morning, but it seems everyone silently agreed to arrive ahead of ti.

Later on, we saw the chief’s helicopter from the glass wall. And a few more monts, we heard the door to his office open and his footsteps getting near us. We all stood up and saluted when he arrived. He gestured his hand, telling us to sit down.

"Good morning, everyone," Chief Zeus greeted us with his deep and mature voice.

The aura around him was one of a kind—just one look, and you can’t help but be in awe or feel respect towards him. My heart pounded in anticipation. To think that I’d be able to speak with the chief himself! It’s such an honor.

"Thank you for coming today despite your busy schedules," Chief Zeus continued.

"It’s nothing, Chief," Assistant Chief Athena said. "This is a very important mission, after all."

"Indeed, it is," he nodded. Turning to and Agent Helios, he said, "Agents, I believe they have filled you in with the plan, is that correct?"

"Yes, sir!"

"And you have morized everything, is that correct?"

"Yes, sir!"

Of course, I morized everything. I had to review everything again since we’ll be eting with the three chiefs today.

"Do you have any questions about it, or is there a part where you don’t agree?"

"None, sir!"

"Good. In that case, let fill you in on the next phase of the plan."

He then turned on the massive screen behind him, and lots of classified information reflected before our eyes. Chief Zeus presented the idea to us and carefully explained everything. I knew that the cover was just the tip of the iceberg. There was a whole lot of operation that we needed to fulfill in phases.

And so, hours passed as we discussed the rest of the plan in detail. To sum it up, there were four major things that we needed to do, all while being careful and keeping up our "New Money Couple Bait" act.

The first category was "infiltrating and collecting" more classified data. That ant we needed to sneak inside the elite’s mansion and their secret rooms or other places to find a couple of things we needed and get them undetected.

The second category was "building trust," where we need to get deeper and deeper into the society until they accept us and include us in their innermost circle. That way, we learn more about their ways and gain more leads. This would be where Agent Helios’ manipulative skills would be wildly put to use.

The third category was "pursuit and capture," where we needed to use the info we collected to pinpoint the real leaders of Kraken and stop them from their roots. This would be the most challenging part because we need to be careful not to reveal our identities while capturing them. Other agents in Mythos could help us, but there would be tis, and probably lots of it, where we’re the ones who need to do the chasing.

Lastly, the fourth category was "eradication," which was my favorite part. Once we captured all of their leaders, we would destroy their bases and annihilate anyone in our way to make sure they wouldn’t be able to operate anymore. We would arrest those we could, but of course, criminals would always do their best to escape. Should they prove too much of a nuisance being captured, we could kill them instead. Such notorious criminals don’t deserve rcy.

Summing it up sounded so easy, but there’s more to it than that. Each leader we capture would make them more vigilant in their hiding. That only ant that the more we capture, the harder it would get to capture the others. They were a large organization, after all, and information dissemination amongst them surely would be outstanding given how they managed to remain in the shadows for decades.

"That’s it for the whole plan," Chief Zeus concluded. "But still, consider this as a Plan A should everything go according to how we predicted it to be. Should new things arise while in the mission, expect that the plan will be tweaked accordingly. One of us, chiefs, will reach out to you should there be a need for change. Do you have any questions?"

"None, sir."

"Alright. If there’s nothing else, you’re all dismissed."

"Yes, sir!"

We all saluted and went on our way out one by one. Everything was clear to now. It’s nerve-wracking but exciting at the sa ti. Hopefully, I’ll do well in this S-rank mission. And if I survive it all, then I’d be able to get the classified information I need and work towards my real goal.

"Wait for , appa (father). I promise I won’t fail you."
