Ryan had bombed my phone with text ssages and eventually it was evening for our outing

I stepped out onto the porch, and my eyes widened in surprise. Ryan was standing beside a sleek, black sports car, a casual smile on his face.

"Oh my God, is this your car?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Ryan’s smile grew, and he nodded. "Yeah, it’s mine."

I couldn’t believe it. The car was gorgeous, and I couldn’t imagine Ryan driving anything less than perfect. I walked towards the car, running my hand over the hood.

"Wow, it’s beautiful," I said, feeling a little awestruck.

As we drove to the fun fair, I couldn’t stop smiling. Ryan seed relaxed and at ease, which made feel more comfortable. We chatted and laughed, enjoying the music and the scenery.

When we arrived at the fun fair, the sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the vibrant stalls and rides. As we walked through the crowds, I turned to Ryan, a mischievous glint in my eye.

"Ryan, wait," I said, tugging on his arm. "Is that... is that truly your car?"

Ryan laughed, a deep, rich sound. "Of course it is."

I stood back, my eyes narrowing playfully. "Don’t tell you’re one of those rich kids disguised as one of us average humans," I teased, my voice dripping with amusent.

Ryan’s laughter grew louder, and he shook his head, a smile still plastered on his face. "Guilty as charged," he joked, holding up his hands in mock surrender.

I playfully rolled my eyes, and we continued walking, enjoying the evening and each other’s company. But a small part of felt disturbed...

We sat on a bench close by discussing whatever topic that popped up

"I’m telling you, the best part of my sumr was always the ice cream truck," Ryan said, chuckling. "I would spend hours running around the neighborhood, trying to save up enough money to buy that one flavor I loved."

I sat on the bench with Ryan, laughing and joking as we enjoyed our ice cream. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the fun fair. Ryan’s eyes sparkled with amusent as he told a story, and I couldn’t help but feel drawn to him.

As we chatted, I felt a smudge of ice cream on my face. Before I could react, Ryan leaned in and gently licked it off. The touch was brief, but the spark was undeniable. I felt a flutter in my chest as our eyes t.

The mont was interrupted by the wind picking up, blowing my hair across my face. Ryan reached out and gently brushed it behind my ear, his fingers grazing my skin. The touch sent shivers down my spine.

Just as I was getting lost in the mont, a firm hand grasped my arm, pulling off the bench. "Sharon, let’s go," a voice growled.

I looked up to see Ace’s intense gaze. "Ace"

I called out with mixed emotions, confused ....

"what are you doing?" I demanded, trying to shake off his grip.

Ace’s grip only tightened as he pulled toward his car. "You’re coming with ," he said, his voice cold and commanding.

I struggled against his grip, but it was no use. "Let go, Ace! You’re crazy!" I shouted. Ryan stood up, his eyes flashing with anger, but Ace ignored him and dragged to his car and from a little distance I noticed Diana walking toward us

As Ace pushed into the car and got in beside , Ryan sprinted toward the vehicle. But it was too late. Ace sped away, leaving Ryan standing alone in the dust.

I was trapped. "Ace, stop the car! This isn’t funny anymore!" I demanded, but he didn’t respond. The car sped through the streets, leaving the fun fair, Diana and Ryan behind.

Panic set in as I realized I was completely at Ace’s rcy. Where was he taking ? What did he plan to do? I tried to think of a way to escape, but my mind was a blank.

Then I burst out laughing, maybe I was supposed to run mad...

I glared at Ace, my anger simring just below the surface. "You’re really sothing, you know that?" I snapped, my voice laced with venom. "Dragging away from Ryan like so caveman. What’s your problem, Ace?"

" I see his na is Ryan" he said almost inaudible then his jaw clenched, and he didn’t say another word. His silence only fueled my rage.

I laughed, a harsh, sarcastic sound. "Oh, I get it. This is your thing, isn’t it? You see sothing you want, and you just take it. Well, newsflash, Ace I’m not a possession."

Ace’s grip on the steering wheel tightened, his knuckles white with tension. Still, he didn’t speak.

My anger turned reckless. I reached out and tried to grab the wheel, my eyes flashing with defiance. "Maybe I should just make this easier for you and crash us both."

Ace’s reaction was swift. He pulled over to the side of the road and turned to face , his eyes cold and hard. "Why would you let soone treat you that way?" he asked, his voice low and nacing. " Why would you let soone else touch you"

I felt a shiver run down my spine as his gaze locked onto mine. For a mont, I forgot to breathe but i stared back at Ace, my heart racing with a mix of fear and anger. "What are you talking about?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady.

"That guy," he growled, his eyes blazing with intensity. "Why would you let him touch you like that?"

I let out a laugh again "you did not care how many people touched until now huh?" I noticed his expression harden even more

" well you’ve been touching soone else and you’ll soon be a father"

I felt a surge of defensiveness. "You have no right to question about Ryan," I shot back. "You’re the one who’s been holding captive, Ace. You’re the one who’s been manipulating ."

Ace’s gaze never wavered. "I’m trying to protect you," he said, his voice low and even.

I laughed again, the sound bitter. "Protect ? From what? From Ryan?Don’t make this sound like a novel or a movie now. He’s the one who’s been taking care of , Ace. He’s the one who’s been there for ."

Ace’s expression didn’t change, but I saw sothing flicker in his eyes. Sothing that looked almost like pain. "You don’t know what’s been going on around you," he said, his voice dripping with conviction.

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized that Ace truly believed what he was saying. But I couldn’t shake the feeling that he was hiding sothing from . Sothing big.
