Jun Tianyun saw two large vehicles running crazy over the barren sands as there were two groups of people. They looked like larger and modified versions of dune buggies.
*RAA RAA RAA*
Behind them, Jun Tianyun could see hoards of zombies running, chasing after them.
" Fuck! How the hell we attracted that group of zombies?!"
" Anyway, They are still very weak. We can farm so crystals out of them."
" Haha, Co here brothers. Let's farm so easy money!"
Jun Tianyun saw one group of n taking out so human-sized sacks. The sacks were twitching as if sothing was alive in them.
" Throw the baits!"
The leader shouted. The subordinates nodded as they threw several human sized sacks at the zombies.
The sacks got opened as a few frail n got out, checking their surroundings in fear.
" No! NO!"
The zombies imdiately targeted these people as they jumped on them, devouring them like ants gnawing fallen insects.
" Attack!"
The gang mbers pulled out large rifles and started to fire. Jun Tianyun saw the scene as the mbers killed zombies.
After a dozen or more zombies died, the zombies finally looked at the mbers.
" Throw two grenades!"
Suddenly, two can sized bombs flew exploding the hoards of zombies. The relentless slaughter continued as the group finally managed to kill all the zombies.
But other than the 'baits' only two of their mbers died. Jun Tianyun couldn't help but disdain.
'Heh, using fellow humans as bait to lure zombies, huh? Peak humanity mont, I guess.'
Then, Jun Tianyun walked closer as he saw they were scavenging sothing from the zombie's dead body. Jun Tianyun took out a bottle of mineral water as he walked closer.
" Ey, brothers, What are you doing?"
The mbers beca vigilant when they heard Jun Tianyun's voice.
" Who is that? Check him!"
" B-Boss! Look at that! Look what that bastard is holding!"
Jun Tianyun wore a fine white coat with a crimson flower pattern. Even under the heat of the sun, the hot winds, and the barren lands, he looked simply out of place.
He looked handso, almost on an ethereal level. He looked like an angel descending on a fallen plain, gazing down at everything beneath him.
However, everyone focused on what Jun Tianyun was holding. Jun Tianyun raised his brows as he saw their greedy eyes.
" What? Never saw water?"
*GULP GULP GULP!*
Jun Tianyun finished the bottle as he threw it away. " So, I was saying…"
" Bastard! How dare you to waste such precious, clean water!" Soone couldn't help but shout in rage.
" Boss, Look at him. Judging from his looks, He looks like soone important from a Survival Base!"
" Survival Base my ass! Just looking at him, It looks like he got many things on him." The boss smacked his lips.
Jun Tianyun was startled. " Oh, You an this?"
Jun Tianyun showed him so canned food. The eyes of every mber of that group glowed like a hungry wolf.
" Brat! Where did you get those things? Tell , else…"
He pointed his gun at Jun Tianyun in a threatening way. Jun Tianyun appeared to be scared.
" Wa-Wait, don't shoot . I have many things."
Jun Tianyun showed him so biscuit packets.
" Fuck! Boss, we got a fat sheep today. What luck!"
They kept their guns pointed at Jun Tianyun as a man walked toward Jun Tianyun.
" Brat, hand over everything you got. And, I will let your corpse in one piece."
" Why are you going to kill ? Are there no laws here?" Jun Tianyun raised his brows.
" Hahahah!"
" AHAHA! Look what is he talking about!"
The man held Jun Tianyun's collar as he sneered. " Law? Do you think there is any law remaining in this world? WE are the law!"
" Oh, I am relieved then."
The things in Jun Tianyun's hand vanished, and so does the head above that man's neck.
No one saw what exactly happened. But the next mont, they saw the man standing before Jun Tianyun was headless, as his head tumbled down and rolled away.
" Bastard!"
" Wind Blades, Fla Arrows!"
Jun Tianyun pointed his hand at them as a few magic circles appeared behind him.
The wind blew with a sharp noise and bolts of fla shot at the gang. Before they could shoot, Jun got a couple of headshots with his Fla Arrows.
His Wind Blades were even faster, lacerating their bodies like a sword.
" AHHH!"
" ARGH!"
They scread as blood splashes and dismbered body parts fell on the ground The leader growled as his eyes turned red.
"Bastard! You dare to attack us!"
He was fast, dodging the Fla Arrows. He picked his gun and started shooting at Jun Tianyun.
" Reinforced Earth Shield!"
A dust cloud rose as it turned into a shield before Jun Tianyun. The bullets pierced through it, but they ultimately got stuck in them.
" Very advanced gun. I like it." Jun Tianyun raised his brows as he nodded. Raising his hand, he made a cutting motion.
" Wind Blade!"
" AHHH!"
Both hands of the leader got sliced off as he howled in pain. When he fell to his knees, Jun Tianyun walked toward him.
" Fuck…You are a mutant… Ugh… Don't kill ." The leader spoke.
" Well, I presu your so-called 'Baits' must have begged for rcy too?" Jun Tianyun spoke in a calm but emotionless voice.
" But…"
" Die."
Jun Tianyun snapped his fingers as the man got beheaded. Jun Tianyun could see one man was still alive.
"My lord! Spare ! I will do anything you say! Just don't kill !"
Jun Tianyun looked at him as he nodded.
" Now, I am going to ask you so questions. Don't bullshit and answer truthfully, ok?"
" Yes! Absolutely!"
Jun Tianyun looked at him as he chuckled. " Well, Don't get afraid. I am not a very violent person, you see?"
The man shuddered as he looked at his surroundings, the dead bodies of his comrades were still twitching.
" Here, take this. So water and so chocobar."
The man's eyes widened when Jun Tianyun handed him a water bottle and a chocolate bar.
" This… This is pure water? It exists?"
He gulped down the water bottle with utter satisfaction. " This…This is heaven! And…This is the chocolate bar? This is so… Ethereal!"
" Now, tell everything in detail. How the apocalypse started?"
The man looked at Jun Tianyun with confused eyes, but he nodded in the end.
" Everything started 30 Years ago. A solar eclipse happened, and most of Earth's land suffered mutations. Governnt already predicted the event sohow as they made Survival Shelters."
" However, no one knew it will be dawn of apocalypse. After the eclipse, a teor shower happened, increasing the rate of mutation."
" Not to ntion, those teor shower wiped ⅔ of humanity. And rest struggled with zombies. However, due to mutations, so people gained superpowers as well. They are called Ability Users."
" And, What is the thing you are collecting from zombies?" Jun Tianyun asked. The man nodded as he answered.
" They are energy crystals. In this world, only these crystals are a source of energy. However, they are better than any type of fuel. These crystals beca common currency in this world."
Jun Tianyun nodded. " Final question, Where is the nearest survival base?"
" Un, It is 50 Kiloters west. There is a city. As for our base, It is 20 Kiloters north."
Jun Tianyun nodded as he got all the info he needed. " So, After having the bottle of water and snack, are you feeling happy?"
" Yes, Sir. I am very happy and contended!" The man nodded hurriedly with a smile. However, the next mont, a gun flew to Jun Tianyun's hand as he pointed at him.
" Very well, You can die with contentnt, I guess."
" Wa-Wait!"

Jun Tianyun didn't listen as he shot the person in his head. He walked and collected all the crystals. They are all grey colored crystals as the size of one's thumb.
' Well, These bastards got quite an amount. Hmm, Rather than going to the city first, Should I visit their base?' Jun Tianyun pondered.
" I an, Why not? Why I shouldn't use this chance to sharpen my magic power?" Jun Tianyun chuckled aloud as he picked up the rifles and got into a dune buggy.
He drove straight to the base of the bandits first.
" Now I see, these guns were very advanced. Although they still use bullets, there is a special cartridge for energy crystals. These crystals imbue the bullets with extra firepower and explosiveness."
Jun Tianyun couldn't help but sigh.
" What a terrible luck. When it is the protagonist, he gets a beauty to seduce and so low rank zombies to kill first. But for ? I have to face a bandit hideout and now…"
" These fuckers cropped up."
Jun Tianyun sighed as he saw three cow sized lizards blocking his way. Their eyes flashed with crimson light as they opened their mouth to shoot fireballs.
" Fuck off!"
Jun Tianyun used Wind Blades to kill one as he used the rifle to deal with another.
*TATATATA*
Jun Tianyun pulled the trigger and all of his shot went straight into the eyes of lizards, penetrating their brains. Within no ti, Jun Tianyun managed to kill all of them and picked up their corpse.
Soon, he saw a small building as his Eyes of Fortune shone. He could see The building got underground floors as it shone with a pale yellow light.
" Huh? Look, Soone is approach-"
The guards from the watch tower could see Jun Tianyun coming from far. However, bullets whistled as two of them died due to their heads got exploded.
" Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
Jun Tianyun drove at full speed as a cackle appeared on his face.
" So, Let's make our first base."
