The heavens seethed with elental rage, a vast canvas of cosmic fury scrawled in violent hues. Lightning crackled across bruised storm clouds, casting eerie shades of purple and indigo that rolled and churned like sothing alive, sothing vengeful. The sun was obliterated, swallowed whole by the darkness that lood overhead, turning day into a landscape of shadow and stark, electric light.
Through this storm—a striking figure cut her way like a blade through silk. Her every step seed to command the tempest around her. A woman, breathtaking in her fierce beauty, advanced with a stride that defied the chaos of the world, a force as inexorable as the storm itself. Her skin held an otherworldly glow, a luminescence as if it had absorbed fragnts of starlight. Waves of golden hair cascaded down her back, each strand gleaming, transforming in the shifting storm-light to sothing fierce, wild, and alive. Her eyes—dark pools that hinted at secrets older than ti—held galaxies within them, vast, unknowable, and teetering on the edge of fury.
Her gown moved like liquid silver around her, accentuating an hourglass figure that seed crafted to inspire both awe and fear. She was the embodint of divine wrath, elegance sharpened into a weapon. Each step she took echoed in the storm-laden silence, a rhythm that dared the world to challenge her.
Ahead of her, a solitary figure waited, his silhouette softened by the rain and wind, yet sohow untouched by it. A cascade of silver hair fell past his shoulders, and though his eyes were hidden by a blindfold, an unyielding smirk played at his lips. His fingers, long and graceful, plucked at the strings of a zyther, a haunting tune lingering in the air around him like mist. Each note cut through the roar of the storm, eerie and mournful, resonating with a sadness centuries old.
"So," he murmured, his voice as smooth as velvet with a faint edge of mockery, "you’ve decided to grace with your presence, Elena. Desperate tis, I presu?"
His fingers danced over the strings with a sudden, jarring intensity—a brittle crack, the sound of one snapping beneath the pressure. Elena’s gaze sharpened as she halted, venom lacing her voice. "Enough gas, Morpheus. Tell where Ryan is, or face the consequences."
Morpheus chuckled, a dry, rasping sound that felt older than the storm. "Ryan? You think I’d let that wretched mortal roam free if I knew where he hid? His head would have adorned my walls ages ago."
"Spare your lies." Elena’s voice cut through the air like the blade of a dagger. "I know you have ways to find him, ways even the gods themselves can’t match."
With a sigh, Morpheus raised his hands, mock surrender etched into his every movent. "Ah, Elena, always so dramatic. Even with the Ruby of Lost Souls, your precious mortal remains elusive. It’s almost... unsettling. As though he no longer dreams."
Elena’s hands clenched, her knuckles whitening. "Stop with the theatrics, Morpheus. I’m not here to exchange idle threats. Where is he?"
Morpheus’s lips curled into a sly smile as he plucked a lone, discordant note on his zyther. "And if I could tell you, what then? Would you pay the price? After all, you’ve already broken vows for that mortal of yours. Who else would you betray to get him back?"
Elena’s face twisted, a shadow of pain flickering across her eyes, but she held her ground. "Don’t think for a mont I’d co here to dance in circles with you if there were another way. All she found was a remnant, a fragnt of his soul. But Owen knows where the rest of him hides. So tell , Morpheus—before I forget the limits of my patience."
Morpheus straightened, his grin darkening into sothing dangerous. "You would issue commands to ? In my own domain? It appears you’ve forgotten the price of such transgressions."
A ripple of cold laughter escaped Elena’s lips, sharp and derisive. "Oh, I rember well. But if you think that mory will keep in check, you’re gravely mistaken."
The storm above seed to quiver in response as a glint of fury lit Morpheus’s blindfolded eyes, and for the first ti, his expression slipped. "You dare challenge , girl? I could end you with a single thought. You know nothing of my power."
Unfazed, Elena raised her palm, revealing a sphere of pure darkness, a twisting void that seed to consu the very light around it. "This, Morpheus, is the gift of Gaia’s will—bestowed upon by soone far beyond your comprehension."
Morpheus’s smirk faltered, his fingers freezing above the zyther strings. "No... that power... it should be lost to the ages. What have you done, Elena?"
"Sothing," she replied, her voice as cold as the storm itself. "You think you know my limits. But it’s you who lacks understanding. As for your vaunted power? It’s nothing more than a child’s toy compared to what lies within ."
His blindfold slipped, revealing eyes that were no longer human, swirling vortexes that mirrored the storm above them. He stared, caught in a mixture of fear and awe as the darkness in Elena’s hand pulsed with a life of its own.
"Elena, stop!" he roared, his voice a plea disguised as a command. "Destroy , and you unravel all of reality. The balance cannot withstand my fall!"
But her laughter cut through the chaos like a blade, slicing away the fear and hesitation in the air. "Balance? The gods’ fragile construct? I have no use for it, nor any use for a god like you."

anwhile, in a world untouched by storms or gods, Ryan stepped into the dimly lit classroom, a sinking feeling in his stomach. The room was cavernous, resembling a grand theater more than a place of learning, with a podium standing in lonely defiance at its center.
"Ugh, I can’t believe we’re stuck in Theories. Of all the subjects, this has to be the dullest one on the planet," Luke complained as he shuffled in beside Ryan.
Ryan barely registered his friend’s griping, distracted by a sight that sent a thrill through him. She was there—the girl with the golden curls and piercing blue eyes, sitting across the room with a gaze fixed squarely on him. When she waved, a grin spreading on her face, his heart skipped a beat.
"Hey, Ryan," Luke grasped his shoulder.
"What?"
"Rember when I said there was no way you could cuck the prince?" Luke asked.
"Yeahhhhhhhh." Ryan strained his reply.
"Well, I’m starting to have doubts."
"Why?"
"Cuz the girl waving down there is actually the prince’s girl! And this is not the first ti she’s doing that." He held Ryan by the shoulder and shook him.
"Huh?"
"Ryan, be honest with . Did you really cuck the prince?" Luke asked, his eyes narrowed into slits.
"Cuz not! She’s probably just infatuated with ." Ryan brushed it of with awkward chuckle.
"And why would any sane person, with a good head on there shoulders do that?" Luke asked, sincerely curious.
"Really? Well, just so you know, I’m handso," Ryan stated shalessly.
"Yeah, and I’m a high ranker," he rolled his eyes.."" he rolled his eyes.."
Though Ryan decided to play it cool, his mind was actually in overdrive. If he walked towards her as he previously planned, rumors of him taking her under the prince’s nose might actually start to hold weight.
But if he ignored her, he stood a chance of losing a potential ally who could aid him in the future.
Being the ex, she was by no ans a normal individual; her family should be just that powerful for her to even dare to dump a prince.
This was a gamble. But yeah. He would take the risk this ti.
