"So, you three want to register as teammates?" asked the woman handling the registration, just like the many others stationed behind her.
"Yes," we all replied, and her fingers flew over the keyboard of her laptop.
"Haah," I sighed, stealing glances at my 'teammates.' Damn. It would be a miracle if we could even manage 1,000 points in total. Haah. I'm toast.
"Alright, done," I heard her say. I looked at my wrist, which was suddenly vibrating—probably due to my Graphto watch.

It's so strange. Just how the hell did it co to this?! It was rowdy one mont, with everyone scrambling for a teammate, and then it was over—over before I even got a chance to find one. And now here I am, stuck with these weaklings!
"Haah," I breathed out, rubbing my forehead in frustration. Well, on the bright side, this girl is damn gorgeous. I stole glances at the girl beside as we headed back to the VR chamber.
An hourglass shape! It doesn't make sense. I don't rember anyone by the na Maria, which ans she's probably a side character like . But she's just so damn hot! Lustrous violet hair and strange, orb-like crimson eyes. Her hair was tied in a ponytail, and her skin looked so soft and smooth it rivaled that of heroines.
But... it doesn't make sense! Weakling or not, she is not soone who can be easily rejected. Even the bastard protagonist, with all his high and mighty values, would never turn down a request from her... So then... why?
"I would advise you both to stop gawking at ," she said, and I realized I wasn't the only one captivated by her allure. I glanced at the guy beside her, and we exchanged a knowing look before turning our attention ahead.
But wait a minute... How did she know we were both looking?
I froze on the spot. This girl is... not normal.
Then I frowned. Sothing's up. Could it be she's intentionally avoiding involvent with high-rankers to stay out of the spotlight?
"?!"
Just... who the hell is she?
[Ding!]
I heard a sound and looked at my watch; it was glowing, and suddenly a number appeared.
[473]
And just like that, all the pods in the chamber opened.
"Now find your pod and get locked in, and rember, this is your hell," barked a man at the end of the room, causing to grimace.
This sucks.
