The wedding went well, minus that the empress was still unaware of what happened, not just her actually. Everyone in the empire hasn’t got any clue.
Except for the closest families they have, as they wanted to surprise Noraya.
"Your Highness..." I looked at the maids who greeted here in the crown princess’s palace, which is near Helion’s palace.
"His Highness went to the banquet first and said that he will wait for you, as he knows you needed to change your clothes," the head maid said as she looked at her with no emotions in her eyes.
I just nodded at her and they entered to help get dressed. Mildred was still not here yet, as I told her to attend the banquet, as she is not just my personal maid; she is family.
The maids helped fix my hair and get dressed.
I feel a little uncomfortable as they are new. I an, this is the first ti that I have been dressed by soone else except from the maids in Solaris.
When we got out, we saw so knights who were already waiting for us.
"Your Highness." They all greeted when they see and they bowed their heads.
"His Highness asked us to escort you there, Your Highness," one of the knight said and by the look of his uniform, it seed like he was their captain.
I just nodded at them as we walked our way through the hallway that connected all the palaces here.
The palace of the crown princess is very huge; it screams luxury as fitted for a princess, but I don’t know what I’m feeling, but I am missing my old room where I and Flaar usually spend our days.
And speaking of Flaar, he was already there inside the palace in her room.

We arrived in the main palace and father was already talking to Helion and others. it seems like he wasn’t mad at him anymore ever since they ca back from Tenebrisaya.
"Father..." I said as I bowed my head and greeted the emperor, who was also there at that ti. "Your Majesty," I said as I looked at the emperor, who just smiled at .
"Who would have thought that we would beco a family, Arthur?" The emperor said as he teased his father, who just glared at him.
"You cheated, Dion..." Her father said as he snorted at the emperor, who just chuckled.
"My daughter was only married to your family because it was needed..." Her father said as he looked at her.
"Blah, blah... Just admit that my son was the best choice for Lady Acantha, as we all know how high your standards are when it cos to n who will propose to her," The emperor said as he looked at and smiled again.
She just rolled her eyes at the two as they bicker like kids.
"You should eat so food first..." she looked at Helion, who was looking at her.
"Have you eaten?" she asks back and he shakes his head.
"We should eat together and leave them here," I said as I looked at our father, who was now being stopped by Hernand.
"Poor Hernand..." I said as I shook my head in disbelief as he was in between her father and the emperor.
Helion chuckled at what she said, which made her stare at him.
"Is there any dirt on my face?" Helion asked , which made look away from him.
"No, it’s just... You should try smiling a lot; it’s not that hard," I said as we continued walking in one of the rooms.
When we enter the room. Lady Dreanna and Lady Roys were also there. If I rember it right, I had seen their fathers with the other noblen that her father and the emperor trusted enough to get invited.
"Lady Acantha..." Lady Dreanna greeted .
"Ahh, It’s Your Highness, I’m sorry," she said as she looked at apologetically.
"It’s okay, have you eaten?" I asked as I looked at her and lady Evangeline who was smiling at when she greeted .
"No, we were waiting for you," she said as she looked at her when she noticed Helion, who was at her back.
"Ah, Your Highness," they greeted. they seed so excited to see her that they didn’t notice Helion, who was behind her.
"Shall we eat, Ladies." Helion said as he led them to where the dining room is.
They are all seated there and eat their food quietly.
"Your Highnesses..." Gineo said as he greeted her and Helion.
"Lady Constrin, Lady Roys..." he said as he turned and greeted Evangeline and Dreanna, who stopped eating.
"His Majesty and the duke wanted to see you... Your Highness," He said as soon as he turned back again to Helion.
Helion just nodded at him, and I looked at him and saw that his plate was already empty.
"I will just go to father and your father..." Helion said as he went closer to and gave my forehead a peck, which surprised , before he walked with Gineo and left the room.
"I knew it, I knew it..." I was startled at Lady Evangeline’s squeak as soon as Helion and Gineo were gone.
"Since when did you and His highness starts planning your wedding? I really thought you weren’t going to marry him," Lady Dreanna said as she looked at while smiling.
"I told you, Drea... His highness was in love with Lady Acantha..." Lady Evangeline said as she looked at while she was still smiling happily.
"Ever since you two were together, His highness has had this different look whenever he was with you..." She continued which made look at her.
"What do you an?" I asked as I drank from the glass of wine that was served to us by the palace’s maids.
"He looks at you with so much love in his eyes whenever you are not looking at him..." she said as she also did the sa as what she did a while ago.
"Okay, You are right, Eve..." Lady Dreanna said as she chuckled to her friend.
"But Lady Acantha, why does it seem like there are only a few people at your wedding?" Lady Dreanna asked as she was frowning.
"She’s her highness now, Drea..." Lady Evangeline corrected her and Lady Dreanna apologized again.
"I’m sorry, I was just used to calling you that..." she said as she smiled at apologetically.
"It’s okay..." I said as I looked at her.
"The reason why there aren’t many guesses and it’s not grand is we wanted to make it solemn and quiet," I said as I tried to find a reason for them.
"That’s what I really wanted to see: Lady Noraya’s face when she learned about this," Lady Dreanna said as she smiled at her.
" too... I rember when I first hosted a tea party in our house and she took the seat that was supposed to be mine and made the other ladies make feel like an outsider just because she was the crown prince’s fiancée," Lady Evangeline said as she snorted at what she said.
That was also the very day she t these two wonderful ladies.
Acantha just smiled at the thought that the villainess she was got a friend when she attended that place.
They talked a lot that evening and they decided to join the others outside.
After the party, her father was hesitating to leave her, but Hernand knocked so sense into his head.
Helion also let her sleep in his room, as he said that people will be talking if they sleep in separate rooms.
She asked him what the purpose was of her being a crown princess and owning a palace that was not far from him if they would sleep in one room.
"That was just for you to have a household to manage, but usually my father and my mother sleep in one room; only these past few months they started sleeping separately. Sotis father will go to her palace and sleep there, and sotis mother will go to his palace and sleep there," he said as they were preparing themselves to sleep.
I already took a quick bath while he talked to Jarnus and Ernie in his study beside his room.
Helion was now wearing his robe and when he stood up again, he threw it on the sofa beside him.
"What are you doing?" I asked as I covered my eyes with my hands.
"I can’t sleep with clothes on, so I’ll just take this off," he said as he looked at as I blushed.
"Don’t worry, I won’t force myself; let’s just sleep," he said as he went inside the blanket.
I sighed and removed my hand and I went back to lying again while still blushing. I turned my back at him for him not to see my face, but I gasped when he pulled closer to him and gave a kiss to the back of my head.
"Let’s sleep. I know you are sleepy, as Mildred already ntioned it awhile ago," he said as his breath beca heavy.
I hold my breath and I don’t know how long I did as the sleepiness swallowed .

Everyone was terrified when they heard so loud noise from their Lady’s room.
She had been like that ever since they received news from the palace, which they didn’t know what.
