Acantha looked at them as they were still having so conversation.

"Father," Acantha said as she called her father’s attention.

The duke looked at her. "What was it, Aki?" He asked her as he looked around again when one of the n talked about sothing.

"Can I leave the room?" she said, as she was really bored at the mont.

"That’s okay, but be sure to co back later, as we still have soone that we should talk to," her father said as he looked at her warmly.

Acantha nodded as she looked around before she bowed her head to the emperor when she noticed that he was looking at her when she stood up.

She even saw that Helion was about to follow her, but his father stopped him while he was shaking his head at him.

When she got out of the room, she saw Hernand, who was rushing to go to the room where the eting was happening.

"Lady Acantha..." Hernand said as he greeted her.

He looked at the door where she ca out and back to her again.

Acantha knew that he must know about her father being there and that he was alive.

"He was inside, Hernand," Acantha said as she looked at her, confirming everything to him.

She saw him stiffen a little bit when she said those things to him.

Hernand was actually not part of the people who they hated and avoided, but because he was working in the imperial family and besides, she doesn’t want him to need to choose between his job and friends.

And people need soone like him.

She knew that if there was soone who could assist Helion in helping the people in this empire, it would be Jarnus, Ernie. and Hernand. That’s why she chose not to allow the latter to go inside their territory when he tried the last ti to go inside.

Acantha looked at him before she nodded as she got out of the place.

She walks towards where the garden is, as the place was suffocating her.

She just wanted to rest or maybe get so fresh air, as she had been working all day hunting where Abanoon is.

Acantha walked outside and she could see that there were so knights who were walking around the palace and so who was on their post guarding what they were assigned to guard.

She looked around again to find a place where she could take a nap for awhile to think more clearly.

Acantha saw a glass house. She went to where it was and there, when she opened it, she saw how beautiful the place was. She knew what she was doing was not right, but she really didn’t want to be in a crowded place, as people might get afraid of her.

After all, she was a witch to them.

She saw a bench behind the plants instead of the one she saw that looked like it was for so tea party.

Acantha went there to take a nap. People won’t see her there unless they were going to go behind the plants to get so tools.

She looked at the bench again and saw that it was clean. She sat there before she lay down and closed her eyes. She really needs it, as she has not been sleeping so much since Abanoon ca back to life.

Acantha didn’t know how long she had been taking a nap when she heard so people were having a fun conversation with each other.

She stayed lying there as the sun was hitting her eyes from the roof.

Acantha sat to look where the voices ca from, and there she saw so noble ladies who were having their teas in this place.

And why are they even having so tea here? Is it allowed?

"Father brought here because one of the maids said that Her Majesty the Empress was looking for a crown princess for the crown prince." She heard the lady who was wearing so green dress say as she looked at the other ladies who were with her, who looked surprised at what she said.

"But what about Lady Noraya?" She heard one of the girls say, and she saw the lady smirk at what the other asked her.

"Lady Noraya? Oh, that fallen saintess? She has never been seen by soone helping those people who got injured during the attack from the monsters.

Acantha frowned at what she said. She thought that the Lady was already healed, but isn’t she showing up?

Could it be?

No, that’s impossible with soone who was so proud like her; there’s no way she would do so contract with Abanoon and, worst of all, let her steal her body from her.

Acantha just listened to them when suddenly the door opened and there she saw Helion, who looked like he was looking for sothing, or should she say soone, enter the room.

She heard the little laughs from the ladies who saw him.

"Your Highness," the ladies greeted them as they bowed their heads while holding their dresses using their two hands from both sides as a sign of courtesy.

Helion didn’t even look at them, but instead he looked around again using his eyes. Must he be looking for his mother?

Acantha looked at him again when she saw that he was walking in her direction.

He didn’t see her, did he?

Acantha frowned when he saw her.

She even saw the ladies looked surprised to see that she was there all the ti.

Their eyes t, and he was about to say sothing when suddenly the door opened and the empress entered there; she was followed by her maids and so knights with her.

"There you are..." The empress said as she looked at her son.

"Greetings to the moon of the empire, Her Majesty the Empress," the ladies greeted as they did the sa thing when Helion entered.

The empress looks delighted to see her son, and it seems like she still hasn’t noticed her presence.

"I have been looking for you everywhere," the empress said as she looked at her son, who was now frowning at her.

"I had so many things I had to do this morning, Mother," Helion answered his mother as he was looking at her and while frowning.

"That’s okay, have you t them already?" The empress said as she was still near the ladies, which was a little far from where she was.

Helion only frowned at his mother, who was still smiling at him.

"Yes, I had t them a while ago," Helion answered his mother and he seems to be referring to when the ladies greeted him a while ago.

"That’s good then; these ladies will enter the palace officially today to receive training to beco your crown princess, and the one who does best will be crowned as your crown princess and the rest will go ho to their respective families," the empress said to his son.

Acantha saw how Helion’s hand ford into fists at what his mother was saying; he even clenched his jaw as a sign that he was just trying to calm his anger.

"Mother, you know that I still didn’t want to get married, and definitely not this ti when we were facing so chaos here in our empire." She heard him say to his mother as he sighed really deep.

"Nonsense. I already approved you not wanting to get wed to Lady Noraya, no matter how much I like her for you, but now you can’t stop ." The empress said as she walked closer to her son, and when she was close.

Acantha saw that she was shocked when she saw her there.

"What are you doing here?" The empress said as she looked at her while frowning.

Acantha almost rolled her eyes at the empress’s hostility toward her.

"I was just taking a nap here," she said as she stood up, as she didn’t want to look small, not in front of this woman who keeps belittling her.

If they were in the world where she thought she was Lucille, and the empress was her number one basher, a troll who keeps bashing her for nothing.

"No! What I ant is why are you here in the palace!" The empress said as she looked at her angrily.

How hard is this woman? She didn’t do anything to offend her, so why did she keep treating her like she was so kind of the lowest woman she had ever talked to?

"Father brought here," she casually answered her and Acantha saw her eyes widen and she even saw the fear in her eyes when she ntioned her father.

Oh, she forgot.

Not all people knew that her father was alive.

She looked at her, who seed to be speechless, as she was still not saying anything.

Acantha sighed as she didn’t want to argue and cause any rift between the mother and son.

She decided to leave the place.

She was about to walk when a hard arm stopped her by holding her own arm.
